We just need to look at the non growth economies of France, Germany and Britain to understand the impact of high energy prices. Now Trump is insisting that the EU import more American energy. I don’t know the cost of it, but I have a feeling it is not cheap. How long can the Western European countries insist on green policies and at the same time have high energy prices. For me, that is a much riskier bet than what the Slovakian and Hungarian politicians are betting on.
