Batteryhookup.com has these really cheap, just $25! Normally, these can be found new for $200-$300! This contactor can be used with 12V and 24V inverters and batteries. The Renogy charge controller will not allow you to manually turn on/off the load port when in light mode! Be sure to check that the max continuous-carry amp rating of the contactor meets or exceeds your systems max amp draw. This is an excellent explainer video to help noobs like me and others as well. Thanks for your help. You are a real blessing. Keep up the amazing work you do. I learned what a contactor is and what it can do, because of this cool video.
Excellent video chap 👍 One of the best I've seen lately 👌 technically correct and very well explained. Not many people use the load function on SCCs so kudos to you 😎
Awesome, probably I can hook this up to a cheap Lvd module, I have been looking for this kind of hardware since my scc is renogy adventurer, there is no load terminals, also I need to cut off power from the inverter, the tutorials I see are cutting off from the AC side but the inverter still ON, which I do not like

I know. They are definitely underutilized.

Yea if you do not have a cc with a load port you can get a voltage programmable relay to drive the contactor. Oh LVD probably the same thing lol
What about dc
I'm not sure what you are asking...
