Absolutely NOTHING against you dude! I very much appreciate the work you put into this video and how informative it was! It's just that this is extremely important and I think you should just correct it at least by saying something at the beginning of the video.
2:08 Don't use petroleum products on rubber o-rings, they swell up and damage the o-rings. Use pure silicone grease for o-rings. You can get it at HD or Lowes. It's called plumbers grease. Super Lube is also silicone grease and you can get it at Harbor Freight.
Hey what’s the name of the accessory @ 3:39 you used to attach into the spray gun? I think I need that to attach a different foam cannon to my Portland thanks
I think I have the same model as you, it came with a bottle that you can put soap in. But when I use it, it comes out super weak. How do I make it so it shoots out powerfully?
Hi zkdr, the bottle that comes with the unit is kind of garbage. It’s not meant to have a strong stream coming out of it. It just helps dispense some mildly soapy water or maybe a mold inhibiting chemical. You may be looking for what a foam cannon does.
Also a 50 ft uberflex hose on the pressure washer is game changer, along with a stubby gun. I have the same pressure washer as you, after all the upgrades I enjoy washing my car much more!
After owning a swimming pool business for 8 years, the number ONE thing we tell any and all customers when lubricating their O-rings that are used to seal in or out water is... NEVER EVER EVER!!! USE Vaseline to lubricate your O-rings. It eats away at them. Use a lubricant designated for constant water pressure. My personal favorite is BOSS lube, there's also Aladdin as well as many small company owned personal brands. But 100% hands down, NEVER USE VASELINE to lubricate your O-rings! Trust ME people! Plz! This is the difference between someone figuring things out themselves without guidance (which I can greatly appreciate! I love the drive. However...) VS someone trained in the field. I'm sorry dude, but plz research what I'm saying cuz this is extremely important. Good luck everyone.
Question,, when shutting off after turning off water, do you hold the spray nozzle down to get the water out of the system with the motor Running, or have the power shut off as well?? Thank you
Nice video 👍. ? Can you connect high pressure 3000 psi to inside electric outlets of your home. Without blowing a fuse or blowing out fuse box. Say 13-14 amps of power. I believe. Looking to purchase a Ryobi electric high power washer. My outside electric outlets are not working. Also do these electric washers get hot after many hrs of usage. I live in hot humid Florida. 🥴 Thank you kindly. God bless 🙏!
I can't say from personal experience but most household outlets are 15 amp circuits. So if nothing else is using that circuit, then it won't blow. My pressure washer does get hot down here in Houston but I would say it's built for it. It's never so hot that I can't touch it. Seems to dissipate the heat well.
@DJ Mia Most homes in the U.S. are wired with a combination of 15-amp and 20-amp, 120-volt circuits. Because 15-amp receptacles can be used with 20-amp circuits, most of the outlets you see in American homes are the standard 15-amp variety, with two slots and a U-shaped grounding hole. I think all the electric pressure washers come with the gfci power cord as surge protection. It should be safe and compatible
I’ve never used chemicals for driveway cleaning. Honestly I would probably use something homemade. Maybe vinegar based? Any suggestions would be awesome. It’s about time to wash mine.
Thank you for the video I just bought one off of eBay and I want to clean my sidewalk and fence. If I was going to use an extension cord to reach my fence, would you recommend any type of extension cord? Or should I just be on the safe side and not use one.
How do you remove the wand? It has to be so simple but I can't get it off! It says to pull before twist which I do and twist forever and nothing - It wont come off.
Hey Melissa, in my experience there might be a leak some where or not enough water pressure from your hose. When the pressure washer senses a drop in pressure (like when you squeeze the trigger) the motor kicks on. There’s also a possibility that the sensor is faulty. Mine was doing that one time, but I just realized I had accidentally created a kink in the hose from my faucet.
@@freshsquiized thanks! I think you're onto something. I used it later after I commented and noticed that when it revved up, it was also spitting out air. Thanks for the quick reply ❤
Put a multi connection on the water valve. Put a short hose to a quick connect and 1 on the inlet of the washer.. Also quick connects to the outlet side and gun... Your making a project out of it for no reason..
I'm sorry but I really believe you should take this video down and redo it based on how many times you refer back to your "PRO-TIP" to use petroleum jelly to lubricate any O-rings. This isn't just based off of my knowledge, a Pro... But the absolute first thing that comes up when you Google "should I use petroleum jelly to lubricate my o-rings?"
I’ve been spending $11 everycarwash , thanks for your style of video I’m buying one tomorrow & saving $$$
Why have u been spending 11 dollars very car wash?
@@Colosh.8 : that’s how much they charge to wash it

Thanks for the advice @Khyber Safi
That tip with the oil is awesome, thanks!!
nice to watch professional talking about their craft.
This was a great starter video for me, thanks!
Great to hear. Thanks for stopping by.

@@freshsquiized Ahhh got it, thank you. I'm guessing Harbor Freight has one and hopefully it's a standard fit for the connection.
Get some quick connects for the garden hose, also for the pressure washer hose. It makes this process so much more fast and easy

Great ideas. I have plans to make my setup easier to... setup and use.
Exactly, this guy doesn't have a clue.. It takes me longer to fill up a bucket

@@MelissaNicoleYT Great explanation!
1. Lubricate O-Rings
2. Bleed air out before turning power on.
What chemicals to use when cleaning driveway bro
I’ve never used chemicals for driveway cleaning. Honestly I would probably use something homemade. Maybe vinegar based? Any suggestions would be awesome. It’s about time to wash mine.
Baking soda might help. It's a natural abrasive cleaner. And when it dries up, allegedly it'll kill ants if they eat it

Nice! You won’t regret it. I have used an extension cord before with out a problem, but it was a heavier gauge cord. 25’ was what used

twist and then pull. It should only be a quarter turn twist, then pull, or you may have stripped it out.
Can I use gun grease?
Wait a min. That metal attachment didng come in the box.
Correct and he states that as he connects it. He showed the plastic spray nozzle it comes with then says how he got this better one
Why does my motor keep revving on this thing😭

No prob! Glad we're on to something there.
4:14 see there's the problem. I have to use an extension cord because my outlet is too far away from the driveway.
Does it really matter to have a bucket?
nope, not unless you want one for hand washing
