Their last few albums are of a similar style, although Retrogore is probably my favourite.

Aborted consistently have some of the best riff writing monsters in death metal. Been spamming Ian Jekelis playthroughs of Retrogore, so siked to see this, can never get enough Aborted guitar videos thanks for taking the time to make these.

Never been a fan of the Firebird shape but for whatever reason, a Firebird with that ESP headstock really does something to me. SICK fucking playing too, godamn.

The playing was just sick and the times were perfection but what I thought was super cool about this video was the fucking Monitor on the cabinet showing a digital head. Freaked me out at first, thought it was in some sort of box but finally got an angle that showed it's a computer monitor showing the Neural DSP Fortin Nameless Suite X I think. But it totally looks like this futuristic digital amp head on analog cabinet. Bad ass, guitarists should do that live, that would be so sick!!!

Hey! Noob here... Can someone explain a bit what his amp set-up is? I see it's an amp head on a digital screen, any info on how that works/what this is would be great, thanks in advance.
He's running into the Neural DSP Omega Ampworks Granophyre plug-in, I don't know if from that he's running into a power amp and the cabinet, or if he's running an IR and then amplifying his tone.
