    No problem in the rain so far me either! Let's talk about that exhaust instead! 👀

    What are they like in the cold, Im currently on M9RR wich are really good in all weather and the cold but I only ride if its dry but somtimes in the cold. Been thinking about getting the sp v4

      They’re ok. Prob not as good as the M9RR as they do need some heat in them to feel like
      They’re working. Not really a cold winter morning commuting tyre, put it that way. Not ridden the M9RR but did have M7RR on my 94R speed triple and they were brilliant in the wet and the dry.
      Hope that helps but sounds like you prob already have the tyre you need.. unless you go for Pilot Road 6’s which everyone seems to rave about wet or dry.
      Hope that helps.

    As you say mate, they’re not knee down in the wet tyres, but realistically on the road you ain’t gonna be doing that anyway.

      Yeah they're ok, like I said, depends what you want to use the bike for! I think power GP may suit me slightly better as they're probably a touch better in the wet, but realistically, I'm not gong to ride much more ( if any quicker) in the rain.
      It's predominantly my track / road bike anyway, so doesn't need Road 6's or equivalent on it. It won't be going out in the cold winter months where that sort of tyre would obviously work far better! 😎. Thanks for watching.

    Those tyres are fine in the wet. How did you get on at Knock Hill?

    • @twistandgo3414
      @twistandgo3414  Год назад +1

      Yeah, I really don't mind them and were also great on track, I didn't bother using my warmers as in honesty, I couldn't be bothered! Find them quite predictable and give really good feedback.
      Yeah, knockhill was ace! That's the next video to be edited! 😁😎

    Put a set of Metzler 01SE on my Moto 2 street triple 765 before i went to Pyrenees & very pleased so far no issues

      How do you find the slightly lower clip on bars? Seriously considering a set for mine to help with body position on track, is it comfy enough on the road without being too prone? Albeit, I found my Gsxr1000R pretty comfortable.
      Sounds good on the tyres, I had them on the sprint GT and was seriously impressed them! Trust the trip away was good too and the bike expectedly flawless?

    They come on the new Speed Triple RS as well (my ride). I'll be honest and state that I don't love the look of them for rain, and I ride my bike all year in all weather (short of ice or snow which is of course very rare) to get to work at the very least; my commute is only about eight kilometers and does not require high speeds unless I want to take the 'fast way there' which is the saving grace (and means I don't need a car). I'm tempted to try them for the season (riding sensibly), but am curious what will happen at colder temperatures in the wet... looks like this was rain, but on a 'warm' day? Temperature can affect tyres just as much (to some degree more). Glad to hear they're not a complete disaster... still, a very curious choice for a British motorcycle to have shod on it.

    • @twistandgo3414
      @twistandgo3414  Год назад +1

      Yeah, they’re not really an all season all weather tyre or certainly not what you would ideally fit for all seasons but they can do it, as you say, if ride sensibly. It was a bit cooler on this day around 12 Deg C so no, not winter commuting but point being, riding in the wet with them is possible.
      As mentioned in the video though, yes of course there are better all season tyres for such a scenario that work better in a wider band of parameters, but there had been a lot of people worried / concerned about using them in the wet at all, so was just to show it’s not a massive issue but again, an all season tyre is of course, going to be ultimately better. Thanks for watching and commenting. 😁😎👍🏻

      @@twistandgo3414 Aye, I appreciate you showing that it can be done. I''ve picked up a set of Michelin Power 5s for 'all year' use - I'm going to save the SC3s for next track season.

      @@danieloconnell4225 just off a track day and the rear pirelli is no more. I fitted a pair of Continental Race Attack2 - Street, I'm seriously impressed with them and according to the experts, should last a bit longer than the pirelli's.. May do a little video on them.

    • @twistandgo3414
      @twistandgo3414  9 месяцев назад

      Yeah, I don't even use rain mode 😂. But I understand why people would want to use it, so to each their own there. They're not bad in the wet, for taking it easy. I wouldn't recommend in thr depths of winter on an early morning commute though.
      I've just changed to a set of continental tyres having worn out the supercorsa's (See Donington video for that) so will see how well they last.
      So far so good though.

    You any idea how i can get Kriega tank straps on my Moto 2 triple with having to remove all sides and tank - just need to gets straps through the front

    • @twistandgo3414
      @twistandgo3414  11 месяцев назад

      Could try feeding them under the plastics but possibly won't secure correctly? Is a bag lux tank cover an option? Might give a few areas or loops to attach your kriega to? Just an idea..
      Guess, have to just try and play around with what you have, see what works.
