It's quite important. Once you hear the squishy sound you'll know you're doing it right. Your clumps will also form much much much better. Let me know if you have any luck

I think the combo that I used really really worked. We started with an extremely flaky scalp with lots and lots of flakes. At the end of the routine I think I saw 1 or 2 flakes on the hair in tital. The rest was all gone. So maybe try a nice prepoo treatment and a mask that you can use on the scalp. I'm sure it will help significantly. When you see the earth rhythm moisture lock treatment on sale, then pick it up. I bought it for 301 rs I think ie half off. I can't say that the routine worked only because of this one product. I'll attribute it to the combo as a whole
@Michelle: the clarifying shampoo mentioned in the description box does have fragrance. The 'love beauty planet shampoo' has parfum which translates to fragrance. It's written in the ingredients. The only fragrance free shampoo in India (that I have come across!) is 'faith in nature' shampoo that has a fragrance free variety. Their other shampoos have fragrance, only one variant does not have it. It is currently out of stock. I haven't used this shampoo so can't say how it is, but I am hoping it's good.

Frizz is inevitable when you start. Once you perfect your styling technique most of the frizz goes away. If there's still any issue after you're doing things perfectly, then it might be a protein moisture issue.

Minimal product will be a better bet for you. The more product you have the more the chances of it feeling wet and over-moisturised. So maybe use only gel or only mousse and see what happens. Opt for a dc with a heat cap instead. For you leave in might not be required. Moisturise your hair with wash off products instead.

Hey Michelle. I thought of double checking with you before buying that amazing looking scalp complex. Is it really CG friendly? I visited earth rythm's site and saw it featured under CG friendly. However, when I looked up the ingredients in curlsbot, it was not. It contains 'Dimethicone'. All those other scalp complexes which are not featured under CG friendly section, do not contain either 'cone' or alcohols, but I don't know why they are not listed under CG section. For eg : Volumizing Rice curl complex. Now I'm wondering if CG friendly section is really 'CG friendly (Approved)' or they are just 'Good/Recommended' for curly hairs.

I have a video on CGM and curl type. You could watch that video. I also have a video on hair porosity. If you check out the pinned comment under the video I've explained hair density and texture. Texture is basically how thick your hair strand is. And density is how much hair you have per square inch (of your scalp)
A hair mask is a rinse off product right. So first pre-poo hair Then shampoo Then condition Then deep condition Then style ie Leave in + gel Or leave in + mousse (If you hair is low to medium porosity you don't need to deep condition and condition. You can do one or the other) This is a first wash routine + a winter routine for a dry flaky scalp and therefore it has some tweeks. Let me know if you have more doubts. I can explain further.

Yes. It's a scalp treatment mask so it's formulated for a dry scalp. And yes I did. The hair was completely detangling so i had no issues combing through. When I clarify I do work in sections and comb.
My hair immediately on the next day post wash looses all it volume overnight. The curls all stick together, tangled and it feels rough to touch. Not sure where I’m going wrong. HELP ME !!! 🥺🥺
Ok let's understand why this is happening. Are you styling with a moisturising product? Is it too light for you? Do you need more moisture? (More moisture = less friction between the strands). Are your clumps robust? Do you use enough gel to keep them intact? Do you use a satin scarf or a satin bonnet at night? Do you use an oil to separate your clumps? Maybe you could try this before sleeping. It used to work well for me when I had longer hair.
Ok so for hair growth genetics plays a big role. Some people experience faster hair growth than other. Research has been done that shows that scalp massaging helps stimulate hair growth so definitely dry scalp massage everyday. New studies have also shown that rosemary oil helps with hair growth. This ingredient can also cause allergies for some. So check it out and see if it suits you. Otherwise dry scalp massage daily. 7 mins a day. I have a video on the topic as well.

You can check out a few options. Aratas green tube leave in conditioner. Ashba botanics leave in conditioner Sugarboo curls leave in or curl cream. Both are light weight.

Yes. It's a scalp treatment mask so it's formulated for a dry scalp. And yes I did. The hair was completely detangling so i had no issues combing through. When I clarify I do work in sections and comb.

My hair immediately on the next day post wash looses all it volume overnight. The curls all stick together, tangled and it feels rough to touch. Not sure where I’m going wrong. HELP ME !!! 🥺🥺

Ok let's understand why this is happening. Are you styling with a moisturising product? Is it too light for you? Do you need more moisture? (More moisture = less friction between the strands). Are your clumps robust? Do you use enough gel to keep them intact? Do you use a satin scarf or a satin bonnet at night? Do you use an oil to separate your clumps? Maybe you could try this before sleeping. It used to work well for me when I had longer hair.

Ok so for hair growth genetics plays a big role. Some people experience faster hair growth than other.
