    Michelle, I just wanted to say that you saved my hair from great years of abuse.... As my family has a legacy to straight up the curly beautiful hair and do not praise what they have... this gives me confidence as I have hair type matching to you and I no longer want to straight them up... Thank you, girl....

    1. Understand that all curls are different and accept your pattern full heartedly
    2. Don't judge products too quick but give it time experiment with things .
    3. Try techniques for a few times before judging if it works for you

    Hello Michelle. First of all I want to say you rock girl .
    I've been looking for actual wavies routine and thank god I found you.
    My hair is pretty healthy. Still if I don't braid it after washing it . Means if I let it air dry after brushing. It is going to dry frizzy and puffy.
    Just recently I decided to give the CG a commitment. To be honest i've tried it before and i enjoyed the results but i was overwhelmed thinking that i have to refresh my hair everyday, specially that my hair is fine and so much manipulation can easily damaged it . I felt so uncomfortable and I decided to quit .
    Now am back and i watched several videos from your channel and you made a lot of things clear. You totally deserve more followers.
    The smart way you explain stuffs made my day and gave me motivation.
    Keep going Michelle .

    I actually like my wavy hair. It’s just that it doesn’t have a proper hold but it’s like the mix of both worlds - curly and straight. And cgm gives nice definition to such type. Although i’m not regular with cgm so I’m yet to explore more but never obsessed over tight curls 🙈

      If you check out nynm.in you'll find some kid friendly products.
      The brand is called CURLS - KIDS.
      I haven't personally tried them so I'd request you to read some review before buying anything please.

    So I can totally use my heavy conditioner as it's lighter version by diluting it without spending in an 'extra' conditioner which is light itself ? (Will this technique still work if my conditioner has coconut oil in it as a prominent ingredient ?... although my hair likes it but not always, sometimes acts greasy and weighed down for that heaviness and that's why i was asking you for a light conditioner in your other video. I use love beauty planet coconut conditioner)

    • @MichelleManuel
      @MichelleManuel  2 года назад +1

      A conditioner containing coconut can be diluted and thereby made to feel lighter. But remember that coconut acts like a protein. Low porosity hair would need to be weary of coconut and use it on protein washdays like a protein product. I wouldn't suggest the regular use of coconut for some hair types.

    Hey michelle , I m really really new to cgm , decided to start it now , but I m very confused about products and also I don't really know a lot about my hair yet, is it important to invest in a leave in conditioner in the starting ? And if yes which one to buy ?

    • @MichelleManuel
      @MichelleManuel  3 года назад +2

      Hi Rekha! I think only start with a shampoo and a conditioner and a gel.
      Test the conditioner as a leave in and see what happens. If it too heavy? It is too light?
      Based on that decide your need your moisturization based on the levels I've discussed in my review videos. Once you know the level of moisture you need, invest in a leave in conditioner.
      You'll find a video on budget cg products on my channel. Have a look at that video. Those are my pocket friendly recommendations.
      Have a look. I'm sure you know your scalp type. Choosing a shampoo will be easy. Make a decision on a conditioner & gel.
      No point buying expensive products in the beginning without having a good idea of your hair needs.

    From 2b, 2c to 3a , b , c or go forward more
    By following cgm!

    • @MichelleManuel
      @MichelleManuel  3 года назад +1

      I started as a 2a and now I have 2b 2c & 3a pieces.
      I think we rarely know our true curl type until we embrace cgm and go through transition.
      It's obviously not possible to change your curl type but there's a good chance you don't know your curl type yet. You will definitely notice that with time and different styling techniques & products, you can enhance the appearance of your curls. You can also notice differences in the shrinkage you get with different products.
