Did you use a virginized FRM or a used one where you had to update to your VIN?
reason for my question is:
I retrofitted xenon headlights in my E90 LCI and need a fitting FRM - if i could use a used one would save quite some money since a used one cost about a quarter of a new frm3
No! I just got a second hand one. Plugged it in and followed the steps..

The Mega links were taken down by Mega in relation to these legal letters/actions. We had no control over them being removed as our Mega account that was responsible for the links was also permanently banned from the platform.
Please do not ask us where to find the package(s) or ask us questions about it. We simply can't and won't answer them.
As everyone knows, it was never our software to distribute, we were not the developers of it, we always just provided it and kept it up for the community as we always felt it was our responsibility to make it easily accessible to people who wanted/needed it and without charging people for it.

Thank you man! Way better & easier than taking out The module, welding wires to do the same job! I have my frm3 corrupted twice now! Just shipped to those eBay guys to repair , if had know this steps I would hv done it myself! But great to know for future!
for what i can see, would you click on reset? or would it be like coding?
@@orlanmedina3693 its just you have to install the softwares correctly and configure it to your car's model, then you go through the steps to rewrite the software on the already corrupted one, the existing software/codes stopped communicating with the case cause when the power levels goes lower numbers of times as set/finished loop numbers set it shuts down the system to protect the entire module to go bad.

But what makes me worry and think to study more is doing different types of rfm.
Do you know if the part number must be the same I found a module that is -02 at the end and mine is -01, all the other numbers match up perfectly. Do you know if the -02 will work?

really impressive. So clear and precise. Even a novice can follow without issues. I will definitely try it on my E70 as my headlights are not working as they should. I bought this car a few weeks ago and when i connect my scan tool it asks me as to which one to choose, the CAS or FRM because the VIN on these two modules are shown as different so i presume it was not coded correctly. I will follow your instructions and see what happens, i hope i can get the lights to work bright as they should

Great videos!!! You should make a video on how to change the power class on the msv80. Everyone always talks about it can't be done without resetting the working hours and doing it does not provide extra power. Then, why is it there 😂 I can't remember if the issue lies with changing the cas or 6mbot category. Changing it to wert2 always causes an error.
Very nice and clear explanation! I'm going to exchange my e87's Frm1 with a Frm2 this weekend (because of xenon headlights), with this explanation I think it won't be difficult to program. I hope there will be some more cool options in the Frm2, but I'll probably figure that out with Bimmercode ;) .Do you also know how to program the xenon headlights once I have them installed?
Unfortunately nope, but I guess its just an option you have to enable. according to google: "FRM2 is coding with FA $522" (For e90, but should be the same) Also you can look around FRM2 options in NCS Dummy

Thank you eboy. First of all congratulations for an excellent/detailed instructions. I have a problem though that maybe you can help - I have to use a Enet cable as it is to code a F07 series FRM. The cable is detected if I use e-sys or Ista, but not able to get the connection with any of the software within standard Tools!

Will this procedure work for a “used/refurbished” Footwell Module if the original is replaced?
The refurbished one works, but it shows the “car on lift red symbol” in the dashboard.
So, I believe I need to encode and program the used FRM Module into my 2011 328i xDrive.

Hey eboy, one question: have you ever changed a Mask? All I know is that you have to change the FA-Number. do you know something about this procedure? I try many times to do this, but I don't know how to do it in the right way. May you can make also a video about these steps.

Hi, trying to help a friend with a 750il. There is no communication with dme. Would like to reprogram all modules at the same time, is it possible? Which program should I use to do this?

I saw people say that never relrogram all modules at ones. One by one is better,because all takes a long time and you can have drain battery and interrupt connection and mess up all.

It can be used module from the similar car, actually it has to be similar module (with the compatible part number) cos bmw used that modules in a dozen of the cars

That a great way to explain of how to download and use it. Thank you. I have one problem when I open WinKFP I get a pop up and when I press ok the WinKFP closes. So what was the purpose of WinKFP ? I didn’t see you used the file from there any place. Could I continue without use the WinKFP?
I have problem with me reverse light don’t come on when I put the gear in R. But when I activate the reverse light with the scanner they turn on. Maybe I need to code that in the frm module. Thank you for any answer.
Hi, I do not really use WinKFP, its for updating modules, but with ODB cables it takes ages
About reverse lights, there some codings for that. Usually I do that with bimmercode

This looks nice and easy, but I've got probmlem when install this and when klick ec. NCS dummy or coding tools it change my impa back to 5.0.6. version Mike's easy BMW tools why it change this back, I'm not so good on this but is there any help for me with this issue? Do I need to delete mike's files all or what is correction of this. thanks for help!

Hi, You need to repair your FRM corrupted EEPROM data...though you must have a proper tool to do that. You can find the video on RUclips

Actually, not 100% sure, you can, but I would not recommend it at all. If you have bad battery just use a charger

I have an e46 and I changed my headlights from halogen to xenon, when I enter to ncs expert to code, I choose profile and chassis then when it tries to connect I get an error Vin is faulty coapi 2020 .... IFH-0009 ... Around 20 faults..
But when I use INPA it works without problem 😕

Many reasons can it be, as an option I can recommend to update, or change, sp-daten

I have installed same like you have do IT, but on inpa when try to sync EWS /dde l get 2 black point and not trdh, that is dde, and nothing, get this red ion..variant kontroll ifh 0009..not respond from ecu.. So my car was staying 3 month and now Just crank not start,on inpa that code is Cas a0b3, Cas 9a0a..everything on car working normal but wont start.. Can not erese code or do nothing with inpa.. Do you have idea what can be.. Its show too about ignition Can signal not valid form

Hi, looks like you have a problem with "ACCESS" that why the car wont start. Bad signal can happen for a few reasons: Corrupted CAN in general, or CAS its self, try to disconnect "BAD" modules and see if something is changed. If CAS is dead, you can not do a thing about it cos its "car access system" which controls all about access. So consider swapping a CAS just to isolate the problem. But you have to code it, and thats is not something easy to do, and is completely another story

The following text is super simplified for understanding: there are two levels we can deal with: low level (modules) and high level software (programs, like app in your phone). to program modules we use icom/can/... cables. For the software part usually its a usb stick with. Basically its something similar to jailbrake.

Hey. I have the the same problem with newly bought E93. Master window switch is not working, but windows are rolling down with the remote and passenger window switch is also working. Did you find the solution?
Looks like FRM, failed frm lights up all the indicators on the cluster, turn on wipers, windows dont work. If it happens you have two way - repair it, or replace it. This is the manual for replacing
Just a quick update on my e93. It was faulty master window switch. Ordered one from Aliexpress for 20$, everything works

no offense.... but where is the coding ?.... 95 % is a tutorial for installing INPA and other BMW Tools ..... what did u code about the FRM ???... what functions did u activate or deactivate through the FRM ???.... can i answer it.... nothing .... a waste of time. its not and option, this tutorial is for people who replace the original modulo with another new, sometimes you need to code to your vehicle vin other way the new module dont work, no new features etc etc just is a nesesary step to make compatible with your car a replace module

@@eboy8313 BMW 120d 2006 FRM 1, I had the same problem with my car BMW E90 with frm 3 module, and indeed dated files fixed the problem, but I don’t think that this is the same case, because coding works on my car and on friends e92 325d 2008
Usually that error comes up if you have wrong data in sp-daten. Some people, having that issue, just tried another, related, chassi version. for example e65 can be coded as e70 and backwards
