hi Vladimir, thanks for the great video im having a hard time connecting my vehicle with the enet cable. i open ista, it sees the connection with vin (but no voltage), and when I try to do identification it just doesn't do it I did exactly like you showed, but no dice what am I missing? Could it be because I am using ista on a separate drive (D:) while every other software (ediabas and such) is in (C:)…
Enet should not see voltage it is okay. But ista should still work. Most likely universal setting do not work for you. Try ista 4.39 it is a good one and might help you.

Hello, in one of the videos I heard a suggestion that a 1TB HHD is enough. A few days ago I put in a 1TB SSD, and I just realized that even that is small. To install the entire software, you really need an SSD of at least 2TB. Greetings from Serbia

Another mention I have with 4.49, when I put in VIN code the operation wont stay open when is enabled programming in registry entries, when I disable that then work. Maybe 4.49 work only when conencted to car no offline manual readings..... ? Do you have link to download your version of 4.49, I can try i have original ICOM

Тут все просто: Чит коды рассчитаны под каждый конкретный CAFD В новом софте новые CAFD файлы и так как лаунчкр старый то там давно никто ничего не обновлял. Вот и не работают на новых авто. Смотрите мое видео про сравнение лаунчеров и выбирайте другой по своему вкусу. Благо сейчас есть уже из чего выбрать.

I am having issues, There is a Error Massage coming up.The identification vehicle is incompatible with the current brand setting. Check correct brand setting and repeat the identification. Processing of the case was cancelled. Mini countryman cooper s Model:2013/ BMW 318 I Was the test vehicles. Also i am running ISTA+ 4.39.2 Version software. Wow..I have been struggling with connection issues on E-series coding. You have valuable knowledge of these systems although the speed you work through these is hard to keep up without hovering the pause button. I think my biggest issue is my laptop is very old and slow. Impressive.

hi, I had follow exactly this video for ista installation and same version , everything goes smooth and nice but the only thing it stuck at "vechile identification" and message "The entered VIN can not clearly identified succesfully" and "Check vehicle interface and PAD active". I had search google and follow many thing but still same. Connection Manager ok connect to enet but after this process stuck. Any advise please.
What do you think about new version of ISTA 4.48.31 or it is better 4.39.20. When using 4.39.20 then i must for latest update only psdz or also sqlitedb?

У тебя отличные обучающие видео, многому из них научился!)) установил все программы по твоему видео, но после копирования и замены файлов из твоей папки в родные каталоги и запуске программ выскакивают ошибки: INPA - EDIABAS-Error. Apinit: Error #159 NET-0009: TIMEOUT API initialization error No API calls possible!, WINkfp- Error 300: First HW interface could not be initialized! NET-0009: TIMEOUT. Attention!! EDIABAS-Path must be entered in Windowspath (PATH)! Check environment variable *PATH* in system settings-System, Tool32 - EDIABAS failure 159 NET-0009: TIMEOUT abort the program - и программа вообще не открывается. Подскажи пожалуйста в чем дело? И второй вопрос: если я устанавливаю все эти программы (без копирования и вставки файлов из твоей папки), то все работает, но при запуске ISTA+ и попытке считать данные ТС>полная идентификация - в менеджере соединений вин машины определяется, но далее при попытке соединения ни вин номер, ни другие параметры машины не определяются и не удается прочитать ее. - в чем дело, что не так делаю?
И все же никак не могу решить подключение через ENET, сначала и vin видит, а потом минут на 5 подвисает и выдает ((Не удалось успешно идентифицировать транспортное средство. Проверить сервисный разъём и "Контрольно-аналитическая диагностика активна"))Менял на диске С в EDIABAS Konfigurator =ENET, также перепробовал варианты в меню сервисного разъёма: локальная сеть ЕNET, прямое подключение ENET, через Ediabas.... Менял IP адреса в сетевой карте, указывал и неуказывал IP адрес при прямом подключении ENET... Сам шнур ENET точно работает (на дрогой винде стоит ISTA 4.20.31 и с ней работает), может для такой свежей версии 4.39 мой шнур уже не конает и нужен только ICOM ? Конечно стыдно Вам такие детские вопросы задавать, но может дадите направление где искать причину или информацию... @@BimDoc
I have a BMW M850 XDrive. Year 2019. After purchase, everything worked. I went for chip tuning and popcorn making. Then I went to a mechanic who replaced the battery in the front of my car (technical) and did some digging because I wanted to have a BMW Me. Car from the USA and he came to the conclusion that he wouldn't do it. I picked up the car, the radio was Sirus (America), it was impossible to change the time, it was New York. I did a reset from the panel in the car. But what's most interesting. Previously, I had a different car sound with eco and switching to sport+. Now I don't feel any difference when starting the car. And there was a different characterization. The flaps open. and they are open all the time. Tuning has been undone. I called the dealership and they said that the flaps should open in comfort and sport+ modes. However, they are still open. The guy who previously converted from the US to the EU accessed my car remotely and doesn't know what could be wrong. I have a cable for remote connection. the steering wheel also behaves similarly in all modes. I have the impression that the car is in sport mode. Changing to comfort and eco does not cause any difference in the behavior of the car and the steering wheel works just as hard. The only difference is in sport+, where the car actually revs higher. I've read that people have various problems after replacing the battery. technical, but I haven't read about a case like mine anywhere. Please help.

Hello Vladimir, I have a question for you. Can E-sys Launcher Pro 2.8.1 still be used for E-sys in 2023, because I read on many forums that it had expired on "13.06.2022" and can't be used anymore. I am just a simple guy that find it interesting to fix my own car and make some tweaks to the default settings. It is so cool that all this is available to us. If others struggle to get E-Sys Launcher Pro to launch E-Sys, I had to switch to US regional and language settings to get it working. Otherwise I had an annoying error message popping up. Maybe it can help someone?
I'm a bit confused while looking for ISTA. There is ISTA-P, ISTA-D, ISTA+. ISTA-STANDALONE. Which one do I want? How big approximately should the download for 4.28 be?
@@BimDoc i might as well ask a few questions at once. 1)if i wanna do VO coding only,is a launcher needed? 2)can i vo code, mutiple modules at once. Like 2TF to 2TC and adding 544 and 2VB. 3) i see many articlea on vo coding 2TB understand 205 is automatic transmission and 2TB is sport automatic transmissiom. However, my 2021 x1 does not have 205 but 2TF.so with paddles now is 2TC or 2TB the way to go.

Now is release ISTA Standalone 4.49.23 patched version. Is this version good? Can this version do more than already 4.39.20 ?
I’d say that 4.39 is more stable.

You don’t need launcher for E90
Launcher is for F series only
So just ignore it 😉

The problem of VMWare is that image will get outdated kinda soon and if you don’t know how to “connect” newer databases etc then it’s pointless.
How to share programming data between E-Sys and ISTA+ installations, without doubling it, hence using double the space?
It’s easy. In esys set the path for databases to the same location where they are in ista

И второй вопрос: если я устанавливаю все эти программы (без копирования и вставки файлов из твоей папки), то все работает, но при запуске ISTA+ и попытке считать данные ТС>полная идентификация - в менеджере соединений вин машины определяется, но далее при попытке соединения ни вин номер, ни другие параметры машины не определяются и не удается прочитать ее. - в чем дело, что не так делаю?

Через EDIABAS Konfigurator поставьте ENET и все будет открываться и без подключения к авто.
И все же никак не могу решить подключение через ENET, сначала и vin видит, а потом минут на 5 подвисает и выдает ((Не удалось успешно идентифицировать транспортное средство. Проверить сервисный разъём и "Контрольно-аналитическая диагностика активна"))Менял на диске С в EDIABAS Konfigurator =ENET, также перепробовал варианты в меню сервисного разъёма: локальная сеть ЕNET, прямое подключение ENET, через Ediabas.... Менял IP адреса в сетевой карте, указывал и неуказывал IP адрес при прямом подключении ENET... Сам шнур ENET точно работает (на дрогой винде стоит ISTA 4.20.31 и с ней работает), может для такой свежей версии 4.39 мой шнур уже не конает и нужен только ICOM ? Конечно стыдно Вам такие детские вопросы задавать, но может дадите направление где искать причину или информацию... @@BimDoc

I have a BMW M850 XDrive. Year 2019. After purchase, everything worked. I went for chip tuning and popcorn making. Then I went to a mechanic who replaced the battery in the front of my car (technical) and did some digging because I wanted to have a BMW Me. Car from the USA and he came to the conclusion that he wouldn't do it. I picked up the car, the radio was Sirus (America), it was impossible to change the time, it was New York. I did a reset from the panel in the car. But what's most interesting. Previously, I had a different car sound with eco and switching to sport+. Now I don't feel any difference when starting the car. And there was a different characterization. The flaps open. and they are open all the time. Tuning has been undone. I called the dealership and they said that the flaps should open in comfort and sport+ modes. However, they are still open. The guy who previously converted from the US to the EU accessed my car remotely and doesn't know what could be wrong. I have a cable for remote connection.
the steering wheel also behaves similarly in all modes.
I have the impression that the car is in sport mode. Changing to comfort and eco does not cause any difference in the behavior of the car and the steering wheel works just as hard.
The only difference is in sport+, where the car actually revs higher.

A Quick question, as my laptop does not have enough storage (250GB), I a going to follow your steps and use an external SSD. Do I just unpack everything and instal it on this drive rather than the C drive of the computer?

Ista conect to car on ignition only or engine start? How long ista take to full establish connection to car?
Always start engine or turn on ignition before connecting to the car. It gives gateway some time to boot up and work properly.

Can E-sys Launcher Pro 2.8.1 still be used for E-sys in 2023, because I read on many forums that it had expired on "13.06.2022" and can't be used anymore. I want to use it for FDL Coding F-series and G-series. Great video btw, thanks a lot for other information.
It can be used but it’s a bit too old already and don’t support never psdzdata to properly work with G series

If others struggle to get E-Sys Launcher Pro to launch E-Sys, I had to switch to US regional and language settings to get it working. Otherwise I had an annoying error message popping up. Maybe it can help someone?

All of those are the same (except istap, it is for e series programming only)

For 2021 definitely something newer is needed. (Esys ultra for example)

1)if i wanna do VO coding only,is a launcher needed?
2)can i vo code, mutiple modules at once. Like 2TF to 2TC and adding 544 and 2VB.
3) i see many articlea on vo coding 2TB understand 205 is automatic transmission and 2TB is sport automatic transmissiom. However, my 2021 x1 does not have 205 but 2TF.so with paddles now is 2TC or 2TB the way to go.
