Sole felt thinner then most other cupsoles I've tried, like the Spanky. May depend on the insole.
Best shoes I’ve ever skated after skating Vans Half Cabs. I can’t go back. And they feel even better after a few months. The 808’s were a bit too stiff for me and are heavier too. 1010’s are simply amazing!

Just picked up a whole new setup funnily enough from fast times! New to all this, so went with the NB Numeric Tom Knox 600, see how I go. Might switch to the Tiago's next pair. Where was this park? It's looking super nice and mellow for a beginner!🛹

Been wearing two pairs of the 1010s as my skate and everyday shoes for two months now. Only other shoes really worn and skated in are converse, vans, and Nike blazers so not the most versed, but can safely say these shoes are so supportive, durable, comfortable and overall my favourite shoes yet

I find that the tongue straps are too tight on the sides of my foot and make it uncomfortable. Do you run into that issue? I’m thinking of cutting them lowkey
@Gmerlot like those elastic ones attached on the inside? I haven't had an issue with em ngl. But I do think that after breaking them in some more they're actually just a lil loose, n so maybe if I had gone a half size down, I'd have that tight fit broken in but experience pain with those tongue straps... hrm. Lemme know how cutting em off goes. Don't think they'd be all that necessary if your shoes are tight fitting already n you lace em
@@norvillerogersgreeneryknight lmao honestly the shoe keeps confusing me cause in the same day they’ll be choking the sides of my foot cause of the elastic tongue band and then later they’ll be slipping from me if I slightly unloosen the top laces. Guess I’ll just keep breaking them in and see where they end up since it’s only been 2 days. I’m on a half size up of my usual size as well. Love the shoe otherwise, have the 808s coming in tomorrow as well.
@Gmerlot half size up from usual aye? I'd definitely try in your size, and if still too loose even another half size down. But yeah not sure about the tongue strap pain though sorry brother. Lemme know how the 808s go too I'm keen to pick up a pair of them soon
Besides the Nike Blazers these are the best shoes I've skated in. Everything you said is very true with the comfort and durability but my only complaint I had with them was the laces snapped way too quick.

Anyone out there know if going half a size up with these will make a huge difference? I’m uk10 but can only find 10.5 in this colour way
They fit true to size mate so a half size up will just give you a bit more room inside!

These don't fit true to size at all! I'm US 9.5 in all the other NB/Nikes and these are to long for me. Have to size down 0.5 at least. Even the insoles are longer than in other shoes. Outside length is also longer compared to 808, 440, 272
I had a size 43 and thought they were a bit loose, got a 42.5 and wish i actually got the 43 because they are tight as hell.@@SchwappSchwopp
It’s a thick shoe if you ask me but very comfortable
Don’t feel thick to me after a few weeks of skating
Durable and super comfortable but they were heavy enough that I noticed it a lot while skating
The extra tech definitely comes with a little more weight!
One of My favorite shoes, Im on my fifth pair.i like to get the all suede ones. I've had the ones with the mesh/ leather also. The first thing that wears on the shoes is the grip on the bottom. It just loses traction, the whole rest of the shoe stays fine. Amazing shoe, I have a pair of ous, they are thinner , but been liking them so much at the moment. I'm going to skate them to death before i switch back to my new 1010s.

Best shoes hands down hahaha bro i do parkour in these hoes and can still skate, walk, and chill as if they were brand new! Plus theyre so damn comfy i even forget i have then on at times hahaha
