Hey can you review Veja or Flamingo's Life sneakers? They both make a lot of claims about ethical, high quality construction. Veja have become really hyped over the last few years
I just want to say that this channel is extremely important to not only the sneaker community, but also the average consumer. With a lot of these shoes getting so popular nowadays, it’s really cool that you’re breaking them down from a perspective that a lot of people wouldn’t see. Your channel has been a lot of entertainment for me over the past year or so. Keep up the great work!
Too bad he has no style. Everything he likes and reviews is ugly and doesn't aesthetically function in any way whatsoever. It's embarrassingly bad what he thinks looks acceptable or even good. He just doesn't have it. There's not a synapse in his brain which understands beauty. He needs to collaborate with someone.
And you do…? You wear certain things and we all might laugh at what you wear. This dude is making money off of cutting open Boots and shoes. You wish 😂 @@thunderpooch
Glad to see more sneaker reviews, footwear in general, since sometimes you want something just easier to put on (or have different uses than boots like for sports). Also made me wish that they were manufactured slightly differently (resoleable, made to be better supporting and less fatiguing for wearing all day). It is a shame to throw footwear out just because the sole is worn through but it can't be replaced
The carbon fibre in the 11’s (and so many other ball shoes) is to prevent the shoe twisting on a pivot, not for extra spring. You’re foot doesn’t flex at the arch, it’s for the structural integrity of the shoe under load
I want to suggest a winter boot series of reviews. There is a Canadian brand in particular that I would like to see reviewed, and it is the Windriver ICEFX line of winter boots sold at Marks. These boots are supposed to offer superior traction on ice compared to leading brands. Keep up the great content, love this channel.
Great reminder to check out some of these shoes. The boost foam is meant for running in my mind and the squish for walking is not necessarily needed in this implementation.
Would love to see you cut a shoe with the Reebok DMX technology in it from the late 90's... maybe the Iversen 1's Reebok Answers and also the Questions ❤
It's always interesting to see these videos and get an opinion on the construction, materials, durability, and overall value of all the different shoes. I'd be interested in seeing you cut apart something by Altra, and maybe do a couple different models to compare them, such as the Lone Peaks, Olympus, Timps, etc.
Another great year from one of my fav channels! Happy new year guys. Would love to see a mini-series on soccer cleats (football boots) sometime. Tons of cool heritage that has turned into a bunch of technical jargon, lol. Lots of neat technology that I think you could break down pretty well. Cheers!
Loved new balances before moving onto ultra boosts and was really disappointed with the 550 this year after all the hype. Love the channel and keep it up! Hope you get back into handcrafted boots again, you’re the channel that made me interested in Chinese and Indonesian boot makers.
I randomly came across your channel when I was curious as to why the sole of one of my Docs separated from the top. So pissed. Now I know why Docs suck now! I'm just binge watching your videos and getting all types of shoe quality info! Unrelated, you are so adorable, and I would be happy to cook non frozen premade food for you. Peace! ❤
Would love to see a breakdown/comparison of the various German Army Trainers (the originals, high-end copy like the Margielas, copies made by Adidas, Beckett Simonon, etc).
The new superfoams are all remarkable: whilst boost was arguably the first, there are arguably softer, more bouncy foams available now, though they may not be for everyone. From Saucony, Pwrrun+ is actually a very similar technology (ETPU in bead form which is then steam formed), but is actually lighter, softer and bouncier. Saucony also has Pwrrun PB, which is also beads but PEBA foam, which is even lighter, softer and more responsive, but with a penalty in longevity. New Balance was their Fresh FoamX, which is soft but perhaps a little less responsive. But their Fuel Cell foams are ultra soft and responsive - possibly the most of all foams - again with a durability tradeoff. adidas also has Lightstrike Pro, which is a supercritical TPU (nitrogen infused). And off course, Zoom X from Nike, competing with Fuel Cell for softness and responsiveness, as well as React, which is fairly soft and bouncy, but has a reputation for exceptional longevity (but it is temperature sensitive, firming up a fair bit as temperatures drop). Take your pick...
@@nelrose2494 From softest to firmest: ZoomX (Nike), FF Blast+ (ASICS), and Nitro Elite (Puma) have been my favorite foams. Personally I’m really liking what ASICS and Puma have been doing.
Please explore more the Zero heel drop. I remember in the 70's .." Earth shoes " they had wide toe box and heels lower than the ball of the foot. They were pretty comfortable but sole and insole Technology was primitive .
Shoes that would be neat to see the inside of: Saucony Endorphin Pro, Saucony Peregrine 12, Hoka One One Speedgoat, and Hoka One One Clifton. Ideally the most recent editions.
Hi there! Woman subscriber here lol. I love all your videos and I know this comment isn’t geared for this video but have you cut open a Moon Boot before? I would LOVE to see that. ❤
Next you should cut in half the Reebok Club C 85s, and make sure to compare the normal version against the Vintage/TV (True Vintage) which is said to use nicer leather.
You ever plan on reviewing sneakers like loubitin and mcqueen to compare the quality of those vs the other high quality sneakers you've shown? Also would you dive into fakes of Jordans and other shoes to show the difference in quality as well?
Thanks as always for great content, as a suggestion what about comparing Golf Shoes - similar to how you did the winter boots comparison? It would be interesting to see if the premium brands are actually that much different than the economic brands. Waterproofing is another huge factor when choosing a golf shoe....just a thought . LOVE the content

Love the content as well as my micro adjust belt. thank you much. Would love to see a video on Vessi shoes. Their weekend sneaker is my favorite shoe of all time and have held up well over the past 1.5 years. A breakdown on them would be interesting. thanx again and keep up the amazing content.
I’d be really interested to see some thoughts and breakdown of the Nike Terrascape Plus. Absolutely no leather of any kind, but some really interesting materials, it’s really comfortable and actually pretty tough. It would be intriguing to see just what Nike is up to with that more aggressive Move To Zero line.
Def need to find some GPS sneakers. They look goofy but seem to be good quality! Love the channel and it’s ruined shows for me in the best way! Will only buy quality now
can you do a women's version of this? i'm now leery of reviews from fellow women wearers/vloggers as they don't really break down the quality of the shoes. typically they'll only touch on the aesthetics and comfort, but not really look into the construction and quality of materials. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE! thank you in advance!
Hey Weston, kind of an odd request but I've been looking at renaissance type boots, y'know ye olde kind of style boots for a renn fair costume and was wondering if there's anywhere where you can get a good pair of boots on the level of say, Thursday, instead of just crappy costume pieces. Maybe you guys could do a video on those types of boots? Might not be enough content but I'd love to see it.
I appreciate how informative your content is. I look at footwear very differently now. I especially appreciate that you do reviews on all types of shoes. Have you considered reviewing the Tracksmith Eliot running shoe? It’s the company’s first running shoe and at 198.00 dollars i expect a lot out of it.
Please do the New Balance 2002r, I want a review on my favorite shoes just to see what your opinion is on them!!! I think they r very comfortable but I definitely don’t have the power in me to cut mine in half :(
Love to see Mallet Gas trainers cut apart to see the difference in the “gas” and Nike’s air bubble. Y-3 sprint trainers to see how good the leather truly is. Also take a look at smaller companies like Arne, Cleens, Numeris cause they state similar manufacturing and leather quality to see if it’s true or not.
Cutting apart a Nike air more uptempo would be cool! Not sure there’s much to say about them, but they are a cool and iconic 90’s basketball shoe. Very comfortable, in my opinion, too!
Thanks so much for the great work! If you're taking requests, I'd love for you to cut in half one of VEJA's shoes, maybe the V-10? They have been popping up a lot in eco/fair shoes space, and I'd be interested to see if the hype holds up when it comes to build quality.
Great video. Would love to see a review of the Yeezy 500s sometime in the future or maybe even the "NSLTD BT" (insulated boot), super curious about the latter especially!
Appreciate your reviews and really getting a glimpse of the actual quality of the leather. Interested in seeing a air max 1 “premium” and if the leather really is better quality.
11's are really cool. 12's are my favorite retro jordan silhouette ever in terms of looks, but I have a pair of jordan 11 lows which I found almost brand new in a thrift store somehow for $50 and they're so comfy it's crazy. I also happened to pick up some 36's on sale - as a big guy, the breathability is important and I love some cushion that can take a beating like double stacked zoom - usually it's lebron's shoes for me but jordan did crazy good with this. It's also really difficult to find a shoe that light that I can ball in that can support my really heavy footfalls and fast movements on the court. Thanks for these videos! i always consider materials when I see shoes but your expertise helps a lot.
Most comfortable are New Balance 1080v12 Fresh Foam - soft but responsive and even corrective in terms of walking gait. They kill boost which I agree pushes your foot forward and not great for ortho
Instead of newbalance shoe you could choose the Reebok club c hi 85. Model pretty much the same, 80s original classic and made with really good quality soft leather. I really would like your review on this reebok on your channel.
the 11 is one of the most comfortable out there. the sole has been sick since way back when i think its OG zoom Air. Jordan dropped 55 in the garden against the and got fined for wearing them.
i would love to see a nike air max 1 and 90 cut in half. i got alot of them, couse they are my favorites from nike. thanks and i hope you doing the same good videos as you did in 2022.
My recommendation for a review is the Ariat Spitfire Waterproof. I got a pair of these and they're the happiest I've ever been with a all day concrete work shoe/ boot.
Me and a friend both had a tight pain on top of our foot where the laces tie on the adidas boost. They were comfortable for a while but after a few months I couldn’t wear them because it made my foot hurt so bad so take that how ever you want
You should try cutting the off white nike air terra since its a completely new sneaker and i think it looks like a boot kind of so it would be pretty interesting
I've been wanting to buy a pair of Trickers Boots for 5+ years but the price has always given me pause for thought. Would love to see you cut into a pair of those
New Balance just released a 550 that’s made of yellow nubuck to mimic Timberlands. Could chop it in half to see if the nubuck is better quality than the normal leather.

I don't see Brooks on your channel. :( Brooks Adrenaline and Ghost lines are my go to, now. I was regularly twisting my ankles and getting tendinitis, but now I dont, until my shoes need replaced. My husband and sons wear them now, replacing Nike and NB. But the inside heel does wear out quickly for them.
