Would you say there true to size like the 1010s?
I got the Tiago 1010s on there way to my place next week and I can already tell u just by review's it's a thousand times better then this 808 the 1010 is more comfortable with more technology

Are you a product tester for new balance ?
Some of my absolute favorite videos on RUclips are wear tests, I love watching them being skated, because you get a better feeling for how they look than someone just holding them. I love mid and high tops and I absolutely hate it when the tongue moves around to the side instead of.staying put. When someone is reviewing any mids or highs it's one of the most important things to look for

@@ShredzShop gotta say after some solid time skating them I think I prefer the 1010s but the 808s are still good, but I think any new balance shoe will always be at least good, but the 1010s were great

Look wise, they're absolutely 10 out of 10 🔥. The white navy pair colorway is perfect. My feet get extremely hot and it sounds like these would get me sweaty.
Comfort wise they look great.
I want to cop but I would need to try on and not msny options here to do so in Kansas. Defiantly intrigued and a salute to you new balance

if u already seen on weartested, its a bit sad metrics didnt have any midsole on the toe. dc has fall off man they playin with too much with their design.

my shoe size wearing vans is 10 but i feel this nb 808 a little bit tight in me right foot in 10 size :/ is it normal that they felt pretty stiff the first day?

are these good for flat feet? the 1010’s unfortunately had this weird rubber on the medial side of the shoe and it cause pain just when i tried em on :/
That’s a good question. I’m not actually sure, cause. Neither of the guys who had them has flat feet.

Just got these. They are very stiff out of the box and the sole is quite thick. After wearing blazers, these almost feel like a platform shoe lol. The toe box is narrow and the thick padding on the collar pushes my foot forward in the shoe. You might want to go a half size up. For skating, the board feel is non-existent (even less than Dunks and that is saying something). All that being said, these are the most comfortable shoes I’ve had in recent memory and they feel like a substantial shoe that will hold up well to skateboarding once you break them in.
We both wore true to size in them. They definitely fit snug but stretch out after wearing them a bit. 👍
Is it even narrower than the ishod in the toe box area?
Dunks have good boardfeel for a proper cupsole what are you on?
Dude wearing the 808s felt like I was wearing my navy flight-line boots- couldn’t do it, I like cups but this was too cup 💁🏻♀️
I'll stick with the 1010's. I buy a pair whenever I find em and won't skate em so they last. Favourite shoe I've ever worn, but I'll keep skating in the DC Evan Smiths

How dose this fit compare to the ishod? Even narrower in the toe cap or wider?
They feel wider than the Ishod's
same toe width as ishods but the ishods are way wider in the midpoint with less arch support. however, the tiago is taller in the toe area so it doesn't push the ball of your foot down as much as the ishods. the ishods were too short in the toe area for me. never broke in after months. just too restrictive
is this a heavy shoe?
one question, do you feel they are a shoe for more wider feet? or more of the same as regular shoes?
I would say it's standard fitting to snug. I would not say its designed for a wider foot.

definitely not narrow like a janoski toebox but the midpoint of the shoe is pretty narrow and has a LOT of arch support. but it does mold to your foot over time. but its a lot of mediocre sessions until it finally molds.

Whats better overall 1010 or 808?
Depends what you’re looking for. 808 is the most stiff and supporting high protection skate shoe I’ve ever tried. To the they are a little too stiff, but I have friends and team riders that swear by them.
The 1010 is a little softer and more comfortable in my opinion. But also a little thinner than a 808.
Definitely a person preference, so maybe try a pair of each on. My opinion would be, if you really want a supportive shoe go with 808, if you’re going for comfort do a 1010.

FuuuuCcccah... I love the 1010's I hope they dont go away. you can land primo in those things and not even know it. the one issue I have with them is the look from the back, I like the look of these from the back. my local shop showed me one a couple weeks ago and iI think I like the 1010 more.

Yea they are, but fit snug at first.

@@SkateSkateAndFun that what i was thinking, cause I'm a size 9us with most nike sb shoes, but I had to get an 8.5us for the 1010s, sure at first it feels snug when I tried the 9us for the 1010s.. after a week skating them all the cushion inside got mushy, and the shoe felt large, then shortly after that I bought an 8.5us.. super snug at first but after a week they were perfect, skated the white ones for 6 months.. Beast of a shoe.
@@hollabackgod Extactly! I’m 12.5 so I’ve to got for 12 or 13. 12 felt too tight but OK after a while but I couldn’t put Footprints in. The cushioning in the heel of 1010 is great but a slight bit more in the forefoot for me please. Looking forward to see what the Abzorb full length midsole is like but I’m still not sure if 12 or 13 will fit me. Will wait for more weartests.
My 808s just came in! Bought a half size down. Super snug at first, skated them for about 2 hours. I can feel them starting too loosen up a little. Can’t wait for them to fully break in!

Tiago Lemos is sk8er with baggy style and i am rly gr8ful for that. Unfortunately non of pants he's wearing ain't in size 42-44 i need... Like WTF max size of waist 38?! Am i some kind of kid?!!! fukking shame... To the video, i will see about price and maybe i would buy them...

skaters can't buy these shoes but that is ok because it's all marketing. last longer ? that's subjetive. I think brands should bring back the good old nude boards and the same strategy for shoes. So you can reach people who realy need this products, not only wannabes who belive in magic shoes. i'm tired of seen realy good skateboards brands being unreacheable to everyday skaters.
