Now you just need a train system bringing soil up from the ground to turn to scrap. Gnarly base! 👍
but then it connected to the ground its essentially a livable space elevator
At a certain point above the sky limit, the actual skybox cuts your builds off.
If you walk into the skybox, you are permanently stuck, and the only way to dislodge yourself is to suffocate or use the respawn feature in the menu. Trucks also get stuck at this point and will have to be packaged to be removed. I found this out while I was trying to get all the way to Desolo in its orbit around Sylva.
This has given me the idea to make a space station as my survival base

The interior of this build reminds me of the forge from halo reach. The windows look so much like the spawn barriers that you can place.

This is a pretty cool bass. I've just started building my own on console.
U can use c and v to toggle terrain tool modes like flatten and such so u dont need to hold ctrl anymore

Suggestion for next video: you could make the space station more decorated and make a alien invasion-type video! (it would be really cool) and (idk how this is possible but yeah) do what you want! Byee!

i made one with a wiring thing that just opens a landing pad when you fly up into space and then used a paver on a little car to build up there but i just use it as a junkyard lol (i did it in survival)

been playing for 3 years and i still cannot wrap my head around true flat terraforming. i want to make an awesome base encased in terraformed buildings too... but i guess it wont happen :(

Idk if you already knew or if someone else commented this, but you can press the rotate buttons to cycle through flatten/remove/add with the terrain tool

I don't know if you've heard, but there's a mod that builds with the curviture of the planet, don't know if it's still updated or not, but you could give it a try, hope I could be of help with your amazing builds

I spent probably 12-16 hours on it. I redid a lot of stuff, though, like deciding to run the power cables through the walls, which made it take much longer than it had to.
You can use thrusters to pave faster gust turn it on then pave

Hi, i need an advice, i'm trying to create a street, and i need to "warn" and make indications, i used the "lightsticks" but they disapper... what can i use as a good substitute?

Tethers light up in a similar fashion. The only issue is that they only light up if they’re connected to an oxygenator.
If you’re willing to hook up power cables, another solution could be the worklight as I believe it’s called.

just use the inhibitor mod and terrain analyzer, then "build" terrain

Trying this in the latest update, the landing pad still doesn't show after being packaged and opened again
Perhaps I should look into this. It would be insane if they patched it right after I made my space station. That would be kinda neat too though.

Make a train from sylva to desolo
Probably not possible since planets move.
@@worldclassjerk-epicgamer actually is not possible because the game won't load two planets at the same time.
If you go to space from sylva and reach desolo it will be basically a bunch of triangles resembling a circle unless you use the space ship.

What if you build to another planet, and if you do, will the planets orbit at the same speed
Two planets can’t load in at the same time, so the one you’re building to would just float through you.

how do you get the flat walls so thin though
It requires the smallest possible drill size. I’m not sure if you can do this in survival using the narrow mod or not, but in creative you can do it with the smallest drill setting.
