Instead of just slowing down to normal speed the gun will stop if you run out of power, if you need to use it you can press F to turn off the mods (and his only works while you have power though) or you can pull them off and put them on your back

I don't understand "early game" to "late game" references here. Do people play Astroneer competitively?

Could you use a counter sensor to delay the trade ships? Also, could you add medium resource canister on output mode as an additional buffer. That way you can continue to collect the resources but only shutting down the line completely when the storage is full?

You don’t even need to trade for organic anymore because of tapers

You could replace those medium storages with resource canisters on the rover. 4 resource canisters would work wonders. Also instead of turning soil into scraps, you can use soil centrifuges to craft stuff that you can turn into scraps. For the atmospheric condensers, it would be better to use gas canisters. they also work wonders

Auto arm keeps scooping my small printer, no matter what I do. I've tried moving it out of range, tried moving it too close, tried literally everything. It intends to just ruin the entire setup for no reason. It's hella irritating, because even outside of its range, it does it anyway.

Im not sure if you mentioned this but you can find fully functional large solar pannels and solar arrays on calidor, im assuming thay you may be able to find functioning extra large turbines om glacio then if you can find arrays on calidor

The winch technique by hand is actually really easy

you can bring a packager too and repackage the 50% engine and unpack it right away doing that makes the engine 100% again

Smelter line could be made shorter if you use large platform b with snelter and two geberators on it

On glacio in some of the large wreck, you can find pretty much the exact materials you need to make a large shuttle or even a drill mod 3. Another thing, DO NOT SKIP OVER THE FIELD SHELTER DEBRIS ON GLACIO! Most of them i find either have a medium batterg or a WHOLE RTG! Just bring a packager, hope you get lucky and BAM you have an rtg that you can get early game.

instead of using the trade beacon to get organic, you can use a tapper for a more efficient supply.
