- Decided to give #shorts another try since the first one got positive feedback! A quick video showing you how different styles of straps wear on the legendary Seiko Sarb033. I have not yet made a review of the Sarb033 but I should probably do that.. or should I? Tell me!
I figured that even if these short videos can't contain a great amount of information, they can still bring value to fellow watch nuts :) I've looked for strap inspiration videos on RUclips (and on Google search) a lot and I think content like this does the job pretty well! If you watched my #shorts video on the SRPE53, you'll notice that I used almost the same straps since those are all I have at the moment!

Thank for the video. I was thinking of selling my Sarb033 but now i will give it a chance and try to find a bracelet that i realy like and keep it in my colection .

Long story short, it looks good on anything except the seiko factory bracelet.
Hahah, well you're not wrong! The factory bracelet is a little bit boring.
What is your wrist circumference? This 38mm watch looks so fit
My wrist is about 6,5 inches or 16,5 cm in circumference :) And thanks! 38mm is pretty perfect for me in my opinion.

I’ve always liked the suede straps but have stayed away from them because I don’t know how to pair the with my outfit lol 😂
They’re not always the easiest, but when you get it right they look great🤓

My favorite too! Just wish I’d gotten one with included endlinks. This one I’ve combined with the originals and it’s not perfect. Should get an uncle seiko bracelet or something.

Thanks! I really like it too. Best purchase I've made for this watch for sure. It's the Kirkstead bracelet by Geckota. Separating the end-links from the original sarb033 bracelet and attaching them to this aftermarket bracelet works pretty well imo :)

U need a milanese mesh in your collection and I agree with the other guy, you can’t beat the good old bracelet
I used to have one before I sold my sarb065. Just didn’t fit really fit my style/preferences so I never wore the mesh. Could however get one just for the sake of showing how various watches look on a mesh though! Do you mean the original bracelet or the one on the video?
@@NordicWatchChannel yea a mesh would be good for these videos to show a wider range of different styles and I mean just a nice solid bracelet in general, not the most comfortable buy damn do they look good. I do really like the president on this tho, it just looks so right, definitely prefer it over the stock
@@NordicWatchChannel also how come u sold ur sarb065? Nice looking watch but too big for a dressy watch imo. I was looking into the female cocktail times at one point, i think theyre like 34mm, could u ever see urself wearing a 34mm dress watch? Supposedly this was the standard in the old days
It was exactly for that reason! It was a marvel to look at but I just didn’t wear it that often. It was kind of flashy and then it was just too big for that kind of watch for my wrist. Yes I would have no problem wearing a 34mm dress watch. I think the Credor ”tank” you can see in my collection video is 34mm or something like that 😊
Yeah I’m planning om getting some more straps in so I could show a larger selection of styles for the watches👍🏻 I also think this president style fits really well. Might go for a Uncle Seiko beacelet if I made the choice now, since they have plenty of brscelets with aftermarket endlinks that fit the style of the bracelet better. It’s an OK fit with this one and the stock endlinks, but there is a noticeable difference in style.
