Nice review as usual. I've never understood why butterfly clasp-style bracelets can't have at least a few micro links, since it's alway a lottery if it will fit well. Yeah, the pin and collar system isn't stellar either. But as you showed, this watch will fit greatly with various straps if one doesn't like that bracelet. Otherwise this Seiko looks really great. Love the dial with that awesome texture, and the indicies matches that really well. Seiko really knows how to do great dials. And of course sapphire crystal is a great bonus as well here.
I actually wore the bracelet for quite some time after filming. It's growing on me! It is very comfortable and I'm getting used to the look of it. Might comment it differently now!
@@NordicWatchChannelI'm wanting to get a nice watch for my birthday for a cheaper price I was looking at this watch, Hamilton, etc. what do you think is the best choice? I originally was looking for a diver but saw this one 😎👍
I mean, it really comes down to preferences and price range. This is a great watch, so is a Hamilton. Depends a lot o what kind of style watch you want.
Just one thing to note - it's not a five-link bracelet. It's a three-link bracelet made to look like a five-link from the front. You can clearly see that from the back side at 5:11. I own the watch, and I find the bracelet to be VERY comfortable, as long as I wear it loose (took a few attempts to find out how many links I need to take out). And I love the fact that almost any classic leather strap will look great on this watch. Perfect for the office as well as any formal event, but can still be worn casually. The 4R movement is easy to service and regulate. Add a quartz diver, and you have the perfect two-watch collection that covers all needs and is easy/affordable to maintain :)
Ahh, that's a good correction! Thank you :) So it's a 5-link style bracelet but made with 3 links! It is very comfortable for sure, and looks great on leather too.
Can’t really find these easily in Germany for some time now, I think.. couple years ago quite easy to buy. But I assumed they just didn’t make or order quite enough, I don’t think it was selling that fast, but not sure
@@NordicWatchChannel That's a good idea, I could try. I am not dying to get my hands on one, but maybe if I saw it in person I'd think otherwise. I think you can still order them from Singapore. More than one website of German shops which I know have brick and mortar as well says "nicht mehr lieferbar." It might really just be straight up sold out here and ya gotta order from Singapore, haha
I can’t find this watch anywhere. I clicked the link on your bio for amazon and one of them has the picture of the watch, but it says srpd37 Brown so I’m assuming this is another watch than what is actually pictured? May you help me find this? I’m new into watches and live in the US.
Hmm yeah these were a struggle to find on Amazon. I see the amazon posting you’re talking about. The picture isn’t exactly this model either, since it has the date window at the 6 o’ clock, when this one has it at the 3. I’ll see if I can help you find it!
@@NordicWatchChannelI really appreciate the help! I found some in the US, but it’s for double the price. If there are any places/websites that are from your country or other countries, and can ship to me, I will gladly buy it as well.
I was able to find it on Skywatches. To my understanding, they ship from Singapore and you can expect to pay your local tax rate on top of the price. Or at least that’s how it goes when you order from Skywatches to Finland. www.skywatches.com.sg/products/srpd97j1?_pos=1&_sid=ff599dad4&_ss=r
I have this one, the dial can look white or silver depending on the light and the angle. Love it!
Nice! Yes, it really changes a lot depending on the light!

Thank you! I know, right?!! So unpractical… Seiko really is quite unmatched with dials in the lower price categories.
Beautiful dial 🤩 I’d use the bracelet, looks nice.

The bracelet is lovely
It's refreshing that it's a little different than most bracelets! :)

Bummer! Can’t you go to a brick and mortar store and ask them to order one to the store for you?🤔

I think I saw that both creationwatches and skywatches are still selling these! So might as well order from Singapore😁
I cant understand why this is discontinued 💔
Me neither! :(

Actually prefer this over sarx055 since I have smaller wrist
Very relatable! This wears significantly smaller.
@@NordicWatchChannel I went for this, found someone sell it in a pretty mint condition for just around 275USD
Bargain! Good choice!
AP style bracelet is gorgeous!
It's a stylish look! Definitely different.
Sweet size
For sure! It’s the perfect size!
Hyvä video. Tää ois hyvä itellekkin, mutta tuo vedenkestävyys on turhan huono. Ois edes 50m.
Kiitos! Se on totta. Yksi Sarb033/-35 mallien viehtäys oli 100m vesitiiviyden tuoma monipuolisuus.
I came
Good for you!
