As a Canadian traveler, I will say that Sarajevo is my absolute favourite European city. The blend of cultures, architecture, energy and history of the city is incredible. Also such good food. I've done Amsterdam, I've done London, I've done Venice, but Sarajevo easily drowns them out.
Also Prizren in Kosovo, which I sort of found to be similar to Sarajevo just on a smaller scale.

Sorry to say this, but Athens is probably the ugliest city in Europe.
However, it is still definitely worth visiting for the Parthenon and the area around it.
i live there and it is ugly but idk about ugliest lmao...the buildings are ugly but the sights and the sea make it more beautiful than other european cities

@Andrew Smith Bc Nuremberg is so diverse and beautiful, in some parts it looks like a medival european town and in some parts like new york and so much more and you can't find such a multi facetted city anywhere else

@@Ahsannn I wrote that top randomly. No matter the order. I've been living 5 years in Madrid and the city itself has much more to offer than Venice. As I highlighted, there are many cities in Italy way worthier than Venice (Rome, Milan, Napoli, Firenze or Turin)

Sorry Ryan I really like you a lot but this list really clashes with the real nice cities in Europe, the whole list, especially one city. In Europe there are tons of Cities and Towns better than Monte Carlo, it just looks "cool" since it's a tax haven where many rich people live, actually the city is nothing special. Sorry but I couldn't hold back. Some examples of the most beautiful cities than Monte Carlo: Krakow, Assisi, Rome, Venice, Avignon, Seville, Alicante, Porto, Montpellier, Colmar, Freiburg, Merano, San Sebastian, Toulose, Ghent, Antwerp, Dresden, Budapest, Bratislava, Stockholm, Brasov, Bergen, Florence and I could go on with a list of 100 more before arriving to Monte Carlo

for me as a french I would say from what I Know : Paris, aix en Provence, Biarritz, Strasbourg, bordeaux, Dinant, saint tropez, menton and so many more ...
As a history nerd, I missed Paris, Rome, and Istanbul. Solid video though. If you ever get the chance to go back to Spain hit up Salamanca and Leon, you won't be disappointed.

Agreed, from a touristic standpoint, Rome is literally the No. 1 city in the world (closely followed by Beijing). Athens is uggggley as heck. And what is Monte Carlo doing here? One of the most boring places in Europe.
For nightlife I would put Budapest on the list.

Ponza (awesome islands near Rome that foreign tourists don’t know)

Love the content, but under no definition is Prague known as the political, cultural, and especially not economical city of Europe!! It's a 5/10 on all of those metrics.

@@RyanShirley Not in the middle ages too. For a while it was the second most populated city in Europe, after Paris. It's more or less a consensus, even if historians can only do estimates. You may have read "central Europe", or the info could have been simply wrong. Always cross-check your facts with several sources.

Monte Carlo is not the city in Monaco, it’s actually the district where all the tourists go. Monaco is a city-state so its only and capital city is Monaco. Monte Carlo is the most famous district but you also have Monaco Ville, La Colle, La Condamine, Larvotto, Fontveille and some more!
Cracow and Polish cities 🇵🇱 underrated once again. Shame

I don't know if you are planning on revisiting Athens, and a lot of tourists miss that, but I'd highly suggest visiting the East coast all the way from the Port down to Sounion, where Poseidon Temple is located. Amazing scenery all the way and lots of things to do. Most of visitors stick to the center, Acropolis an a couple of museums and miss all rest the city has to offer! Take care, nice vid 🙏
Sounion (where the temple of Poseidon is located) is amazingly beautiful at sunset. One of my favorite European memories.

Hi Ryan. Some real facts for you. Big Ben is the name of the BELL not the tower. The tower was named after queen Elizabeth II. To celebrate the queen's Diamond jubilee in 2012. So before you do any more things to do with London please please do your research. because this is starting to p me off. with people calling big Ben the tower. @@RyanShirley I have my top 3 actually: Paris, France 🇫🇷, Florence Italy 🇮🇹, and Switzerland 🇨🇭. The world is so beautiful and each city/country is unique from its people, cuisine, culture etc... Please continue to inspire others with your travel. Can’t wait to travel again. My next travel destination is South of France or Amalfi coast in Italy. How about yours? Also, I recommend that you to try Asia. I was in Japan, Singapore, Malaysia and Philippines last January 2020. Beautiful countries and great people esp Philippines and recently won World Travel Awards for “Asia’s Leading Beach Destination, Asia’s Leading Dive Destination (you’re fave to do in your videos lol) and Asia’s Leading Tourist board. I was able to travel before lockdown. 🙏🏻

Madrid is not a particularly beautiful city
Despite most of this list wouldn't be mine, I respect all opinions about taste. But Monaco in a Top ten Europeans cities to visit in Europe? I can't. This city-state in this list is just kind of insulting for so many other gem places. It's ugly as hell, a black point along the French Riviera. The only thing you can feel is the constant festival of money at every street corner, and the smell of concret, it's so opressive. A place to see, like any place in these world, but definitly NOT in a Top 10 cities to visit as a tourist.

The most visited city in the world is Paris for international tourists, and Bangkok for total tourists (national + international), London have lost her 2th position on 2019. Paris is 2nd and London go behind (3rd). Singapor are 4th
