    You should be proud, Nancy.
Have you worn your wings since that video..?
Your bird hat made me think of the "I Am The Walrus" video with those skull caps they were wearing. You are the birdwoman... GOO GOO GOO JOOB.
"Please don't explode..." Made me laugh so hard. ; )
"And then I dropped it on its face." Oh my goodness... Do you ever get frustrated and just scream!!??
    "Is that my hand..?"
You and your sister... always fantastic - and so much fun.
Wow... you really aged in that video of you working on that lathe - in the making of your thirdygurdy.
I Love every second of watching you listening to Abbey Road.
Loved the shadow of the railing on the steps in your photo at 11:58
I like that you named your boost pedal (LOUD!).
That's a great sign for the global launch of "Reflections". Love that the reflection had a G for a C... and a 5 for an S. Amazing...
Thanks for sharing some bits of those live performances. Would definitely enjoy seeing you do a live show (with any of the groups you are in).
Congrats... on your fortune finally coming to fruition. your life must have changed so dramatically after that huge windfall...
15:48 Spectacular montage of your work on side one of "Rubber Soul".
That picture of you smiling at your cat on your shoulder as you are playing a stand up bass. Heartwarming...
Question... why is the stand up bass called a "double bass"..? I only see one bass. ; ) You sounded great to me.
Great "teaser" montage at 19:07 (Loved it all... but I'm a sucker for those finger snaps). So much talent and creativity on display in this montage. BRAVO!
That picture at 21:36 So funny. Btw... liked the "potato quality" pics.
Watching you enjoy listening to any combination of CSNY is almost as entertaining as watching you with The Beatles.
23:42 Play that funky music, Nancy.
Fantastic montage of all the amazingly creative, intricate work you did for that holiday cover video.
Your 50th with you playing 50 McCartney bass lines was awesome. Would love to see a patreon video of the bass for the full songs.
That is one weird looking Honda dealership - at 27:51.
    1000 subscribers! Yay!
Another sensational montage of all the super duper work you did for holiday cover video (28:14).
You are such an amazingly creative and inventive artist. Always looking forward to what you will do next. So entertaining.
    Remember.... "don't panic".

You know, I'm quite proud of myself - I neither screamed nor cried during the puppet-making process. It was definitely frustrating at times, but as I'd never done it before, it was more of an exercise in working out whether I COULD make puppets. In that sense, every time there was any success, I was pleasantly surprised!
My dad made that sign for the EP release, and he was very proud of it. In case he doesn't see this comment, I'll make sure to point out that it was appreciated by others.
Thanks again for being such a stalwart supporter of the channel. It's a pleasure to have you here. :)

Would love to see you do a deep dive into some more CCR songs... "Born On the Bayou", "Green River", "Run Through the Jungle". One of my top favorite bands.
And the same with Simon and Garfunkel... "The Boxer" would be my first choice - but there are so many great songs... "The Sound of Silence", "Homeward Bound', "I Am A Rock", "April Come She Will", "Fakin' It", "Scarborough Fair/Canticle", "Mrs. Robinson", "For Emily", "America", on and on.....

many puppets were hurt in the making of this video
early last year i watched a channel for the first time by a RUclips colleague of yours Nancy: because she posted once on a friday some were calling it vinyl friday and she TOLD US OFF! THERE IS ALREADY A CHANNEL WITH THAT NAME AND IT'S GREAT! wonder if you can guess who? anyway, that's how i landed in New Zealand. sort of.
that was a rush of creativity that was. evocative photography. i knew of the hurdy gurdy because of the donovan song but knew that that thing was food for anthropologists or whatever. no one is going to end up making new, unique, sounds with one of those. right? WRONG!
the beatles content has been fun, deep, reinvigorating and enlightening.
as for request projects. a hook up with Abigail Devoe's Vinyl Monday? please please me? ( you've no idea the earnestness behind those please's LoL). she's a fan i know and you are both changing the men's club mentality of the vinyl scene double handedly.
so Nancy it's been more than a pleasure pleasure (see pleasure x 2) making your acquaintance in a very distanced sort of way. can only say thanks.

Lovely comments, Alan. I was wondering if ("pleasure pleasure") was pleasure x 2... or pleasure squared. ; )

This is super cool, and very inspiring. I'm currently working on an album and redrafting a novel, and you've managed to make me feel insufficiently creative! :)
Oh my goodness - you got to play Glenn Cornick's bass part in Bouree! On two different instruments! That's amazing - one of my favourite bass parts by one of my favourite bassists. I would love to see you cover Stand Up on vinyl Monday.
Also, are you familiar with early-70s American rock band, Fanny? A great antidote to all the classic rock bands that are made up of straight white blokes - Fanny are 50% not straight, 50% not white and 100% not blokes. If you haven't encountered them (I hadn't until a couple of years back), it's worth looking up their performance of Blind Alley on Beat Club, it's such a gateway drug. One of my favourite live performances by a band.

I have heard of Fanny, and they're amazing! I love their cover of Hey Bulldog. Really their diversity was radical, for the time that they were releasing music. I believe there was a documentary about them that came out a few years ago, which I'm quite keen to see.
I'm thrilled that you recognised the bass solo! Also, any degree of creativity experienced is sufficient. :)

@@fathommusicnz Fanny are great, aren't they. I love that they asked The Beatles permission to add an extra verse to Hey Bulldog - that takes some nerve. The documentary is fun, but I'd say there's insufficient Nickey... which is probably largely the artist formerly known as Nickey Barclay's lookout for being reclusive, but it's a shame that they didn't talk about her or her contribution much. But it's well worth a watch anyhoo.
