@@PastEons I got the impression that you are recreating music like the original score of Walking wirth the Dinosaurs. There lays a possible ambush spot for copyright trolls to use if your music is too close to the original.
Since you already play JWE you think that when prehistoric kingdom comes out you will use that for your future episodes since it has more realistic models (if the game is good as seen as the trailer and has the tools you need)?
The first episode was my favorite because of the narration voice. I’d say not to switch up the voices every episode. Plz keep the voice from the first episode. Other than that, you do fantastic work!!
In JWE did you just let the dinos run around and record them or do you have some way of making them do the animations that you want to fit your narrative?
I'm such a big fan of this project! I'm also curious just about where you want to head with it, like what are some of your plans with the series in general? Are you planning on doing anything with life on earth before and or after the dinosaurs aswell? And what, other than like, the walking with series, made you want to pursue a project like this?
1:48 looks a little shrink wrapped and scaley lizard like in skin texture 4:24 the allosaurus has no lips, and looks like the shrink wrapped model used in the original WWD series. 4:57 the arms of the dinosaurs look pronated. 7:00 pronated arms, and shrink wrapped, and possibly no feathers? 9:34 looks way too much like shrink wrapped scaley lizard skin texture
Is Crimson VA going to be a permanent narrator? I feel like they needs some work. In episode 2 it felt as though they were attempting to mimic someone, which negatively effected the episode, rather than speak in a manner they're accustomed to. For example, when Oprah narrated Life or Tom Selleck narrated Yellowstone, they didnt try to be anyone but themselves. Also, the first episodes narrator felt perfect. Really liked them
@@PastEons by the way im interested in doing a doc myself, but i am a little confused to what camera angles and techniques you use with the capture mode and what tools would i need to make a beginner doc?
@@PastEons Cool, how do you get the earth video? and how do i accomplish the angles you get ive tried the in game capture mode and it just seems too wonky and fast and choppy when i make slight turns
the volcanic explosion was EPIC. writing scripts, doing all these visual and sound effects and studying medicin, all this work... You are a multi talent. The second episode was too dark? It was perfectly made for that atmosphere.
Honestly this project is incredible, everything about it is done professionally and as a video editor myself it looks really fun to make, using a game is just genius. I do wonder how you control the dino AI tho, since you actually have a script to follow.
Thank you very much for the kind words ! To answer your question I indeed have a script, but I have no way to control the AI, therefore my only solutions are finding tricks, and waiting 😁
How did you get the Dinosaurs to do what you wanted them to do? Did you have a mod or something similar or did you alter the script based off the actions of the dinosaurs?
The darkness of episode 2 is great, not only for realism as you mentioned, but for the atmosphere of the episode. Don't sacrifice that for easy viewing.
Thanks so much for the Q&A. A suggestion? I've noticed some of the animation is a bit jerky ( because of course, it's a game!) Have you thought of running it through one of the 60 frame per second program/algorithms to smooth it out? (DAIN for example) I've seen some amazing results with early 20th century film footage. Here's what it can do with a low frame rate. ruclips.net/video/KbuiyYBdH6I/видео.html
@@PastEons The allosaurs were the most noticeable, probably because their movements are quick. All the sauropods had nice fluid actions and any flickering was very slight. I've yet to watch episodes 3
Birds (avialae) branched off from eumaniraptora in the late Jurassic, and evolved side by side with the rest of its clade until the K-Pg extinction. Although we have direct evidence that a decently large variety of dinosaurs possessed feathers (dino fuzz all the way to veined flight feathers), we know now that feathers, being specially evolved scales that had their start even earlier in archosauria, than just being unique to dinosaurs. It's entirely possible that any major clade of dinosaurs could have had feathers. So go crazy, I personally love the look of feathers
I hope you like the video, don't hesitate to ask the questions down here, I'll save them for the next FAQ video !

I know I said this already but will use Prehistoric Kingdom to make a documentary?
Question:how many chapters will there be?.
Question:- What is your favourite dinosaurus? And if Prehistoric Kingdom come out will you do a series with it? Also keep up tge good work
Be careful with the music; the copyright troll is lurking behind every corner!
Which music ?

@@OldieBugger Indeed, though I haven't got any problems yet using the OST in the first episode
@@PastEons Good then. Let's hope that goes on.

Question: How were you inspired to do these?
Question2: What animation thingy did you use to record?
Keep up the great work how do you not have so many subscribers by now anyway love your work
3:37 the dimetrodon image is inaccurate. It has a sprawling lizard posture, no exposed spines at the tips of the sail, and they possibly had fur?

@@PastEons Seriously it doesn't need fixing! I was just suggesting DAIN to make it even better😉
why no feathers 3;
dinosaurs are birds, not lizzard

Dinosaurs are closely RELATED to birds. Theropods are more likely to have feathers as well so not all will have them anyway
