We have since then built museums to celebrate the past and spent decades studying prehistoric life. And if all this has taught us anything, is this...
    ... No Species Lasts Forever."
This rearrangemente managed to capture the feeling of those lines, you can detect the ominous tocuh of the original, with a new and modern empowerment in the music. Honestly, you could rearrange all of the Walking with Beasts soundtrack (or even all the Walking with... series) if the oportunity of a remake was present.

I don't know about this one, i was very pleased with the opening you managed to capture the same feeling from the original choir very well, but i must be honest, going into the Piano part it felt VERY incidentle, the original piano lead had a kind of tremolo effect going where it carried the choir along, it wasn't just singular notes being hit haphazardly and as a result, the piano here feels too blunt, there's nothing that really keeps the rhythm going along with choir.
Secondly your putting a lot of emphasis on the brass section which kind of drowns out the piano which at that point in the original began to ramp up, also the choir sounds too gregorian compared to the OG, it may be a hardware limitation thing sure but how difficult would it have been to do some of the vocals yourself to get it just that bit closer to the feel the OG had, the (Ah Su Eh) part would've been nice to hear but hey ho.
The lack of percussion also kind of hurts this as well, specifically the stick percussion that accompanies the brass and piano in the original, its absence really makes this track feel empty, the brass is definitely doing the majority of the heavy lifting here 1:10 and while that is done well there, by the time we get to 1:29 that same emptiness comes back and continues up until the build up to the main theme.
Speaking of you ALMOST had it with the lead up around here 1:56, as soon as i heard the bongos going in the back i was thinking "YES, lets go!" and then the instrumental kicked in and i was not pleased. again, the same problems i was noticing before kept permeating with this and WHILE i understand its mostly be ear, the notes in the theme are pulled off very poorly like those arrangements you hear on TV that sound like the main theme to a particular movie but its arranged in a way where it's not quite the original and it feels off for that very reason.
Thing is though i wouldn't have minded if you weren't so fleeting with percussion, Benjamin Bartlett stated that he wanted Beasts soundtrack to reflect the savagery and primal nature of the cenozoic and the rise of mankind (using the choir as a leitmotif) that would've been your chance to go full Unga Bunga with the drums and give us an epic capper, but it again it feels hollow.

@@PastEons Just caught a listen to it and thank you.
It's definitely step up from the previous arrangement (Both of them were from 5 months ago so i'm fairly certain it was the right one) some of the issues are still there, a touch merky in places some instruments tend to clash a little, but the percussion and choir at the end is a lot better, though i will say the choir does sound more Skyrim then Beasts.
