Ceratosaurus is an awesome species, unfortunately this one was weakened by dehydration, which sealed it's fate
lol Cera is no push-over but that was an Allosaurus, even a full power Cera would have no chance.
@@ReiLeo Cera has a more robust and stockier build. Allo would've been left very injured after the fight :)
@@ReiLeo I would see a cera vs allo confrontation going two ways.the cera just avoids the allo as they were cautious animals or the cera holds its own for a bit but in the end the allo wins. Kinda like a wolverine vs a wolf or honey badger vs a leopard.
@@Skyypixelgamer Well a Cera vs Allo is like a leopard against a tiger imo.
Only Problem is how this yet again shows Ceratosaurus and Allosaurus’s punching bag despite the fact that they would both coexist peacefully as they had different niches in their Environment
I understand, however this show would be pointless if it consited only on watching them passing next to the other
@@PastEons nothing against you but I wish Allosaurus’s opponent was something that it actually would compete with like Torvosaurus
The plot with these species was requested by a patron from my patreon page, it's the main reason behind this choice, but no worries this is just the first episode of a long series
@@suchomimustenerensis actually a Saurophagnax against a Torvo would be better. And I highly doubt Allo and Cera would just be bros, they could be in times of abundance but in times of need it comes all to opportunities.
@@ReiLeo the american Torvosaurus subspecies is just slightly smaller than Allosaurus fragillis, so Torvosaurus vs Saurophaganax would be unfair as Saurophaganax would clap Torvosaurus cause of the pretty big size advantage.

I think it looks better in black and white because it sets the mood really well

Super neat video, but I need to point out an errata corrige at 1:51 : according to the tables you show, the temperature actually looks lower in the Jurassic than in the other periods, but maybe there is an "average modern day temperature" missing(as it is present for oxygen levels)? I really appreciate all this work you do guys, and honestly I think you deserve more attention and support.

Love the intro however I feel fight music would be more fitting for a clash of Titans.
Its sad how much effort was put in for the amount of people who have viewed this. This is on the level of some real dinosaur documentaries in the way it is presented

Please remove the bass rumble next time when "introducing" dinosaurs. It rattles my windows.
If anything this is the only dinosaur game that has a good documentary this is such a good game my cousins played this with me and being the tomboy I am I was invited to play and I loved it so much iv loved dinosaurs since I was a kid and people always told me dinosaurs are for boys not girls but that will never stop my love for them

Ceratosaurus and Allosaurus. In my top 5 of Dinosaurs
so somebody (forgot their name) was questioning what i meant in *Laughs with torvosaurus, stego, and brachio* when he said allo would go for anything
Stegosaurus wouldve lived in small herds and wouldve used its tails to wound enemys, and dorsal plates for intimidation.
Torvosaurus was larger than allo, and thus couldve stolen carcasses.
Brachiosaurus wouldve been way to big, and used herding to keep the young safe.
Canibalism is also another factor.
All the other Sauropods from there would be more than able to kill an Allosaurus

I'll try to work on this for the next episode, it's just that I don't like the in game animations, I prefered to hide the flaws rather than show them

I love it
I just watched both versions of this excellent work, and IMO the black and white version worked best. It was easier to concentrate on the narrative and the video together. I was surprised to find that the colours were distracting. Another excellent piece of work, very well done!

Ceratosaurus is about 2 meters tall, basically as tall as a man
Not a lot of men are 2m tall.
This isn't a big deal, but its just something that's bugging me like that annoying itch you can't reach. It looks like the earth is spinning the wrong way.

Not really, you can see that on the graphs 😁 The oxygen levels were at their lowest during the jurassic at around 15%
At their higest however during the carboniferous and permian at around 25-30%

Awesome! How do you get the dinosaurs to follow and do exactly what you want?
To be honest I didn't, it's all a matter of editing and camera tricks
Why would you use mods for the alo that is overall a good model but not to the worst ceratosaurus model dipicted across media?
The cera does use a mod it makes it look more accurate with more head crests and different arms. The horn also changes in the mod it looks wider. And plus I think past eons was going for a more accurate approach to the dinosaurs designs so thats why the allo model was changed.
Man the comparison view of the dinos was amazing, hope to see more.
