the isle is still better tho, this look like a 2010 videogame... and I play both games. Not to mention, not even 5 min into the video and another sarco attacks them so the "no cannibal thinghy" is worthless lol

One thing I gotta say.... That spino at the end was a defense build like you, but his defense was higher with tough scales. Although I've seen some die easier, those ones are harder to put down, especially if they have experience
As a lengthy Sarco and Deino player, You did pretty damn good for a first time, but just cause itll be helpful, heres some little tips to help you out for the next time.
-When it comes to charge bite, its better to use either speed Sub-species, Speed hide, or both speed. Sarco with charge and bleed bite together makes for a good 'hit and run" combo.
-Swimming backwards does not give you stam regen, you get it passively no matter what you do in the water, but it drains faster based on your Defense to Speed build.
-Standard bite is better if you are going double Defense because you will need that damage output to make up for your lack of escape without speed.
-Holding W when using the dash ability i think makes you move a little bit further then when not pressing it (im not too sure)
These are some little tips for anyone learning Sarco that i kinda figured out just by playing it on my own. I may not be right about everything, buuuut yeah, happy to help out.
When using the lunge (dash) ability, if you hold W or the left joystick (for my fellow xbox andys) you will move a little further, but it drains alot of your stam.
It is also affected by build, if your defence or speed. Obviously If your speed it'll be faster, while defence is slightly slower.
As a sarco main on WWD, I have had plenty of experience on the crocodillian. Any questions ask away

Im thoroughly convinced that Hunter's Thicket is just a place of purgatory you can never escape, no matter how many respawns, or how far you travel. You always end up back there.
And there are always a lot of people in hunter’s thicket, it’s never empty

This is probably the reason some of his bites aren't connecting. He most likely has somewhere around 200 ping while other people have around 40. I could be wrong but this is the most probable reason.

Hey Beaver, love to see these Path of Titans videos! And that’s exactly why I subbed!
That empty space in the ocean will be ideal hunting ground for the Tylosaurus as it waits for passerbys.
and for Mosasaurus if its gets modded in.
Staying in the shallows is the only way to escape those things.
Wouldn't be surprised to see a vacuum bite which could swallow prey whole.
Now this is something I have wanted for a while, I remember one of the first of your videos I watched was the isle deinosuchus video and I immediately loved it, Great video Beaver😀
Honestly just love seeing a new beaver video, regardless of what game although as of recently I have grown a preference to path of titans as I find it to be more engaging that other games like the isle or beasts of Bermuda.
As a long-time gaming beaver enjoyer, i can say myself, that the path of titans series is one of the best, keep up the amazing work James!

I love the Sarco, but honestly i would love to see a game add in the Purussaurus, the largest prehistoric crocodilian that had an adult bite force of up to 69,000 Newtons, or 7 metric tons of force, which is almost twice the force of an adult Tyrannosaurus. Also, they had adorably fat skulls
Well you CAN customize the deinosuchus to look like a purussaurus

A good attack for this type of dino would be a grab and drag attack that drains stam very quickly, but gives you the opportunity to be a real crock and drag prey into the water.
My thoughts exactly, no idea why it's not in the game it's basically the only strategy crocs use

As a sarco main on WWD, believe me, sarco can be annoying to hunt as, if your not a brawler. DD, double defence, gives you a 20% extra defence (I believe) if you are wanting an advantage on land.
Sarco is one of the best in the roster rn, due to
1. Its speed
2. It's variety of pathways of fighting I.e brawling or hit and running
On WWD, we are restricted to hunting close only to the rivers, but I have been playing sarco for months now, understanding how to hunt, thrive, survive, and most importantly live to see the lights.

Can you win against a hit-and-run water speed build spino in water? Someone logged onto their spino to kill my sarco, and all they did was charge up bite, move in to attack, then back away before I could retaliate. Repeated that until I died. They had allies on land so I was restricted to the water. (This was officials).

I would say against almost everything I would use the charge and ripping, but when you’re fighting other sarcos I recommend using the normal and ripping and fun fact the charge and the normal don’t combo but with a bite and ripping it does :)
Gaming tip, when in the water as a semi-aquatic, if you use your alt turn you don't turn in the water with your camera, it's essentially alt turning on land but opposite

I think the ambushing you're trying to do is more successful if you chose the speed sarco. But the double defense sarco is tough as nails and very much a blast to play

I love the scar mechanics in this game, at the beginning, he got bit by a megalenia, the wound never fully healed to the original leaving just little faint red splotch, you can still see a red splotch on his side in adulthood. So cool.

i may sound hateful to Older fans but, i honestly prefer the path of titan vids over the isle for 3 different reasons: James is actually having fun and seems to have a great time here{in the isle there were great moments too, until he gets killed instantly]
There's a ton of random interactions that don't always result in death, which makes each story unique. [like that time he passed a herd of kents as a ano]
and There's a lot of servers that cater to all kinds of players{realism, permadeath or casual}.
Ugh i guess its because pot is just the easier game.
But doesnt have the intensity of the isle
I miss the old school the isle but there is always something better i guess😞
But its more entertaining because nights are not pitch black, have quests, automatically grow and have different moves

beaves, some tips for sarco, lunge more often while holding shift, you get so much distance, use precise movement more often, sarco has impecible turning while holding x. And finally, you can drag your ripping bit, it still registers when its still in the animation. :P

Beaver if you didnt know megalania is technically a semi aquatic, it has an ability you can buy with marks that lets you dive

Beaves, with some more practice and going for the armor build on the new sarco I think you could definitely be a sarco main or dare I say it, a meg main. I honestly would love to see you do more sarco videos, they're super enjoyable.
Also the reason I suggest going with the armored sarco is because sarco's only have 1 good hit in them. (With the Ambush ability applied) You charge your bite and charge at your target head on, thats why you need the extra armor because you are also getting attacked head on. I also would recommend you how to fly/rocket launch yourself on sarco. It'll come in handy!
