Thanks for this absolutely fabulous try on and evaluation! Really useful and definitely a time saver as I was looking at M&S the other day and was overwhelmed at the choice and gave up. The Siena straight leg a winner hands down.
I have been buying the Sienna for a while now, but will definitely give the Sophie a try. So great to have someone a similar size and shape to show me things usually wouldn’t even think of trying. Thank you Fawn x

terrific review Fawn - you should take this on professionally. I've never seen anyone explain all the different ins and outs of jeans so this has been an absolute joy to me. Thank you so much for doing this video Fawn. I have been struggling with jeans for a few years now and in fact, had given up wearing them! I am the same shape as you but a size bigger. Well done for doing all the trying on and giving us your honest opinion! Can you believe, I went to order the Sophia and there aren't any! I will try the Sienna and see how I get on with those. Great information about the lengths, rise and also going down a size, as they always fall down on me as well! I so enjoy all of your videos. Keep up the good work!

It was so helpful to watch this before going instore today. I tried on a few ( size 20 apple shape) and ended up with the Sienna supersoft jeans. Thanks Fawn. xx
Glad you mentioned M & S leg lengths as in most brands regular is 29" inside leg. The last time I bought M & S trousers several years ago I was a regular - now I've found out to my cost I'm a short. Two pairs I bought during lockdown I had to alter (couldn't be bothered returning them).
Hi Fawn, what a lovely person you are. Don't ever apologise for sharing how you feel about your animal companions. Many a life has been saved, enhanced, enriched because of these wonderful relationships, myself and my daughter included. You don't always end up with the pet you think you want, but you do end up with the one that you need. Danny sounds like an absolute treasure and he is with the people that are giving him their hearts. Oh, and your jeans review was excellent !! x
Great video Fawn, jeans are my worst nightmare when shopping. Love you honesty it is helpful. Agreed with re the straight cut jeans more flattering. Not keen on the really baggy jeans they are not flattering too big. Enjoy hearing about the animals xx

The only definite ‘no’ from me were the Carrie - unless the bleaching effect was just my eyes. The boyfriend were a bit Huckleberry Finn! Thanks for doing this Fawn - really interesting. I am going to rethink boot cut. I tend to live in ‘mum’ jeans which feel comfy for gardening and fit into the wellies I live in from September to April! I like the Sienna. I do have some M&S jeans and they are good quality. No idea which style they are - most like Sophia. I could live in them all day long!! Good to hear you’re feeling better. I had my horse for 28 years so I so empathise. With a dad in the RAF we had moved and moved and my Rockefeller became a real rock for me in my late teens. His headstone reads ‘1970 - 2001 Constant Friend’, which he was. ❤️
Love the Sienna and the Mom jeans myself. The Sienna were smarter and could be dressed up or down, and the Mom jeans looked really casual and easy to wear everyday. Thank you so much for doing this review. I am 52 and a plus size hour-glass shape and have never found a pair of jeans that fit me comfortably, but I have always desperately wanted to have some. Spurred on by your video, I think I will resume my search for the perfect pair.

I love M&S jeans,I know that the sizing suits me and strangely the Carrie jeans are a perfect fir on me,so much so that I have them in 3 colours. It is exhausting trying on jeans! So well done Fawn, that was a marathon Although I love jeans I have got so used to wearing joggers and leggings during lockdowns that I find jeans a bit restrictive! My essentials are a high waist and some elastine. I swear by Primark jeans, they fit me well in a 14. Thought your final choice was best.

Wasted a lot of money on jeans but a couple that you have tried I like so will give them a go. It’s so good to meet someone like yourself, makes me feel I’m not the only one having this trouble xx

Thank you Fawn! You really went all out for us! I went all out with my scoring! (Hope you don't mind, I certainly don't want to upset anyone, especially you!) 1. Mom: Nope, they might be useful but they aren't flattering. 2. Lily: The waist might be too low and I can see you itching to hitch all the time! 3. Eva: OK, but a shame about the body fit which you mentioned... 4. Carrie low rise: As you said, nice with boots, but the puckering would be an issue for you, as you said 5. Boyfriend: So much fabric, you looked swamped. 6. Sienna: The darker dye looked really good, the fit was good, best so far.....! 7. Carrie High Rise: Better than the others but still the puckering issue. I do like the fact that boots would look great with them though! 8. Slim Flare: Good balance, liked the colour, one of the better pairs! 9. Sophia: The best! Lovely fit, even with the longer legs! (I admit, I'm biased, I love my Sophia jeans!) Sorry, this went on and on, but I hope it helped.....🙄 Sending big hugs, pets of any size or age are such a heart tug. XxxX

Great Fawn, FYI I am 5ft 10 & size 12. I have plenty of “rollover” with all jeans and have been known to add a false waistband (sewing machine & denim fabric) as I think everyone needs a high waisted jean. Keep smiling xxx Sue

Hi Fawn! What a great video. I’m not a jeans girl they just don’t suit me. However,I agree with you totally the Seinna &Sofia styles looked fabulous on you. You should give the “boyfriend “ style another try. I think Danny and your daughter saved each other. Your love for your dear pets is so strong it comes through the screen. Thank you for this review it was brilliant. I have a whole graveyard of bad fitting jeans. I am the same size and almost the same shape and height and get the falling down problem so will be trying your favourites would love to see a similar review of trousers. XX
Thank you for this, I didn't realise there were so many different styles of jeans. The narrow leg pair (Sienna?) were good on you as they didn't accentuate your tummy area, also the final pair (Sophia) were good on you. High rise is best for me, as I find that mid rise accentuates my muffin top!

When you said you were going to do this I thought what a great idea, and couldn’t wait, because it is an absolute minefield to choose jeans now, it was so helpful and as soon as you walked on with Sienna I knew they were the ones for me and when you said the price that was even better, although I might try the skinny flare and Sofia, but that’s helped me so much, I will not have to wonder around M & S looking at all the jeans, can just walk straight in and get them or online thank you Fawn very much, must have been tiring keep trying the jeans on n off. So pleased you are better I’m still not quite rid of it 5 weeks n counting and it’s just a seasonal cold n cough but the cough has lingered. So pleased about Danny I hope he carries on, as your daughter must have been really upset. Xxxx

My only gripe with M&S jeans is that the zips are not long enough which is why I prefer Levis as you can also mix and match waist length and inside leg measurements.

I went all out with my scoring! (Hope you don't mind, I certainly don't want to upset anyone, especially you!)
1. Mom: Nope, they might be useful but they aren't flattering.
2. Lily: The waist might be too low and I can see you itching to hitch all the time!
3. Eva: OK, but a shame about the body fit which you mentioned...
4. Carrie low rise: As you said, nice with boots, but the puckering would be an issue for you, as you said
5. Boyfriend: So much fabric, you looked swamped.
6. Sienna: The darker dye looked really good, the fit was good, best so far.....!
7. Carrie High Rise: Better than the others but still the puckering issue. I do like the fact that boots would look great with them though!
8. Slim Flare: Good balance, liked the colour, one of the better pairs!
9. Sophia: The best! Lovely fit, even with the longer legs! (I admit, I'm biased, I love my Sophia jeans!)

Great Fawn, FYI I am 5ft 10 & size 12. I have plenty of “rollover” with all jeans and have been known to add a false waistband (sewing machine & denim fabric) as I think everyone needs a high waisted jean. Keep smiling xxx Sue

Hi Fawn! What a great video. I’m not a jeans girl they just don’t suit me. However,I agree with you totally the Seinna &Sofia styles looked fabulous on you. You should give the “boyfriend “ style another try. I think Danny and your daughter saved each other. Your love for your dear pets is so strong it comes through the screen. Thank you for this, I didn't realise there were so many different styles of jeans. The narrow leg pair (Sienna?) were good on you as they didn't accentuate your tummy area, also the final pair (Sophia) were good on you. High rise is best for me, as I find that mid rise accentuates my muffin top!
Thanks Fawn for showing us your haul. Great. I’m APA apple shape and find the boyfriend jeans and the bootcut tend to balance my shape without accentuating my belly.

Sienna s are great have them in sizes 10 to 16. The y are so comfy whatever my size. Totally recommend them and great value xx

Hi fawn, really thought the Sienna jeans were nice,but I loved the Sophia, will be buying them, I am also an apple shape, unfortunately I have a colostomy bag,due to my cancer, so i have put off buying new jeans, it's been a bit of a struggle, so many thanks, glad you're feeling better, it shows, and happy the animal's are ok xxx

When you said you were going to do this I thought what a great idea, and couldn’t wait, because it is an absolute minefield to choose jeans now, it was so helpful and as soon as you walked on with Sienna I knew they were the ones for me and when you said the price that was even better, although I might try the skinny flare and Sofia, but that’s helped me so much, I will not have to wonder around M & S looking at all the jeans, can just walk straight in and get them or online thank you Fawn very much, must have been tiring keep trying the jeans on n off. So pleased you are better I’m still not quite rid of it 5 weeks n counting and it’s just a seasonal cold n cough but the cough has lingered. So pleased about Danny I hope he carries on, as your daughter must have been really upset. Xxxx

My only gripe with M&S jeans is that the zips are not long enough which is why I prefer Levis as you can also mix and match waist length and inside leg measurements.
