love to hear my faves speak about denim! it's a grey area bc it's such a technical product (fit/fabric etc). i've worked in denim for 8 years and when you know a jean is for you, YOU KNOW! re the butt on the Levi's Ribcage - pocket placement and the yoke (the v-shaped seam) can make or break a jean. these look so great on you!

Thank you Gemary!!! Love your style vids!!! I just purchased the rib cage jeans last week and OH MY GOODNESS!! Perfect! My build is JUST like yours but I am 5’4. I have muscular calves and thick thighs with a tiny waste. I have wasted money on soooo many jeans to find the perfect ones...several from topshop and three pair from Levi (wedgie fit). These are good too but the rib cage are perfect for my build. Finally a true straight leg for women with curves!!! Trying the everlane next. Please consider a video on black trousers as I am searching for the perfect pair to wear with Veja sneakers and white bodysuits and tshirts.

I enjoyed this video! I loved the information you gave and you are a beautiful lady. I am not as tall as you and I have shorter torso, but I found it helpful to see someone with a curvy backside like myself and how these brands look on someone with a similar shape. A lot of the girls on youtube that do denim reviews are size zero. I am also a size 28, and a curvy body shape, so this gave me a better idea of how the Levi’s Ribcage and Agolde’s might look on me. We have a very similar build (yay for big butts!) and my fave fave jeans (have each style in multiple colours) are the AG Isabelle and the Paige Hoxton Straight. I also really like the Everlane Cheeky Straight but size down at least 1 size if you want them to be a bit tighter on the leg. This was a really good video!

Was happy to see this because we like the same rise and have similar body shapes although I'm only 5'4. I was shocked when I measured my rise a few weeks ago to find it was 11-12" at my height. Excited to get a pair of Levi's mile high.
I have the same measurements (long torso, size 28), but I'm 5'6", and the Levi's mile highs fit me like a glove. My favorite jeans. I have them in multiple colors.

@gemary we have literally almost the same body shape. I’m 5”8, 41” hips, and 28” waist! You should definitely check out the Agolde vintage flare jeans. They are the perfect bootcut jeans. Super flattering.

Great jean collection you have! Total game changer once you know what works for you, you stio buying cheap and unflattering cuts. I loooove the look of the ribcage but my torso is too short to wear them comfortably. The Levi's wedgie tapered is my holy grail

Great review- thanks. I have a body type like yours, so I appreciate seeing them on someone with my build. The models never have the curves and thicker (ie. normal) thighs like me.
hey, just thought i'd let you know: all sized thighs are normal, while yours and mine and the model's and erveryone's thighs are all very different, they are all normal, thighs come in all diffrent sizes and forms and they are all equally great :)

It’s crazy how your ribcage jeans fit you, I just got them and I would say that they almost fit me the way that the second pair of jeans you show fits you. They’re quite long and tight on the bum, however loose all the way down. It has a very 70s vibe. Whereas on you they’re very form fitting. I love the way they fit you, but I got the smallest size they come in so there’s no hope for me getting your fit 😞
these look so beautiful on you, I'd love to wear this type of jeans but I've got hip dips and they just look awful, I despise them, I wish I had rounder hips :(
nana hip dips are so beautiful. If you want to wear those jeans, then just do it. Be confident, you just have one life in one body, so enjoy it and wear what you really love :)

Omg this video is so helpful. I finally know why the Levi’s Ribcage don’t look as amazing on me as they do on other people. It’s because I have no ass or hips! I have the same waist size as you, but my hips are like 4” narrower I think. Uuuggghhhh I’m so jealous. I love jeans, but they’re just never gonna look good on my frame. All these jeans look amazing on you!
Brittany S I’m an inverted triangle too!!! I wouldn’t classify myself as thin though...I’m about 130lbs, 5’ 6”, and 37-28-36 (bust and hip are very close but I have really wide shoulders). Mid-rise is okkkkk but the problem is that I guess since I am short-waisted with narrow hips and no ass, any fat at all on my body collects right below my natural waist but above my hip bones. So I get a kind of “muffin top” thing going on with mid rise jeans sometimes. I don’t know what to do. I’m so confused! Lol. My latest plan is that I just need to lose like 10% more body fat and be rail thin so that would solve the problem of visible fat hahaha.
Hello! I have a question about the Ribcage Levi's, if you want to help me. I am pear shaped so i am strongly considering to buy them; but as they are a bit expensive (to me, at least) i would like to make no mistakes about the size. For that reason, my question is: when you wash them, do they tend to shrink? Or do they remain the same size? I have never had a Levi's in my closet, yet, so i don't really know what to expect from their cotton. Thank you for help, it will be extremely appreciated! ❤️❤️❤️

Omg we are the same height and size! My biggest problem is that I’m skinny with a really BIG butt and long torso. So high rise is best for me but my butt looks so low!

You may not be looking for the answer to this anymore, but I’m also the same height with a long torso and I’ve found the Aritzia Babaton contour bodysuits (size medium) are long enough for me!

Love this! We share the same body type and finding the right jeans have always been a bit of a struggle. These are really good fits! Have you had any experience with the Re/Done jeans? They look so flattering on everyone, especially the stovepipe, but I haven’t tried them or seen them on anyone with the same shape as me so I don’t know. They’re only online here so I’m not sure if I should chance to buy them or not..
Hey love! I think the re/done jeans in stovepipe are great, I think I mentioned them in my last jeans favorite video (linked in description) but since that video I’ve gained a little bit of weight and those jeans have ZERO stretch 😣 so even though they fit my waist fine, my thighs feel super compressed and I have to wear it for a little while in order for them to become slightly more comfortable, since they do give a tiny bit throughout the day. I would recommend sizing up and tailoring them at the waist if you need to, unless your thighs aren’t too thick ♥️ They really are a beautiful jeans but I think that the jeans that I mentioned in this video are more comfortable and more flattering on our body shape.

Super informative. Thank you. The Levi’s looked amazing on you but it looked like it was digging into your crotch. Was it not uncomfortable? I have this issues with everlane jeans. Every style and size I’ve tried the crotch digs into me. I wonder why no one ever talks about this. Also, I have the same issue as you with the waste being very loose on high wasted jeans. I have found that the everlane 90’s cheeky jeans is really good in the waste area (even though it digs into my crotch! Lol).

hi! I am having the hardest time with finding the right fit. can you help me? my exact waist measurement is 25.5". according to the levi's size chart, this would put me at size 24. I have ribcages in size 24 and they fit nicely in butt and thighs. at the waist, they do not gap when I am standing up right. however, when I bend down, there is a huge waist gap. Is this normal? could it have to do with how high the rise is or should I size down to 23?

Yea the smallest part of my waist is 28 and that’s usually where I like my jeans to sit cause otherwise they don’t look as flattering on me ♥️
