Fans leaving before the game ended was because of utmost disgust towards the Gilas coach. He only had one game plan, and that was to give the ball to JC. When JC fouled out, out went the will to win because all of them suddenly didn't know who to go to for the next play. It was hotly discussed weeks and months before the WC and now, we were proven right about the ineptness showed by this stubborn coach and Philippine basketball organization heads.

Like putting too much expectations on elite players like but you know it also backfired to jordan clarkson when he cant shoot half court shots because of expectation pressure.

Karl Towns, who has played in the NBA for ten years and has competed in four NCAA Finals, had to give them a pep talk because our team was disintegrating due to how they feel overpowering and never early in the game.

Filipinos are just such a Basketball fanatic, both young and old alike, weather win or lose! Hehehehe 🙌😄😆💞🎊🎉👊 Yes, leaving early is quite observed, Filipinos just anticipate that, first there is no more hope in winning, so they get frustrated/disappointed. Second, they are also anticipating the heavy line and traffic ahead on the way out. These activities are also observed even in our local Basketball seasons. Not a big deal for us. But for Finals/Championships most choose to stay until the end. Hehehe. Peace. 💞✌🙌✌💞

IKR. To be fair, I heard there were discounts for public school students and gov't employees, not sure if it's accurate. Thee were universities that offered free tickets to their students. My nephew goes to one such universities but he's not into sports and he only told us about it on the same day. (bummer!)
I guess some preferred to go out of town instead given the long weekend.

Expensive for Filipinos since if you convert it to dollars, it is way cheaper than you think… that means our money value is low

Ultras Filipinas is in the crowd but for weird and judgmental reasons, the local organizers banned the use of drums inside the arena (same happened in Araneta). But they (local organizers) allowed other nation’s support groups to use drums. Like wthhhhhhh

Because filipino fans knows the tendency of our Head coach they already see that our coach already give-up when jc fouled-out.
He also keep saying our offense will only revolves around JC when they start praticing with him.
Filipino fans had already Bad blood with our coach and on SBP(our national team handler) for not firing him because they are his friends.
Also keeps saying unnecessary stuff when interview, creating drama, making excuses when lose and already giving-up when the opponent is strong even the game even started yet.
