You give great tips that no other violin teachers on YT give. This video doesn’t receive that many comments maybe because many haven’t experienced playing in the orchestra (?) but I have experienced the problems you mentioned. One of the things I’d mention about blending is to use strings set that can blend. I meant, I’m not gonna use Evah Pirazzi if I’m not the soloist nor the concertmaster.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! :) I don't use Evah mainly because they die right away😂 but it's a good point. Much more obvious than the type of strings is the manner of playing... for blending vs solo tone production or a vibrato that sticks out... Proper articulation is key for blending and wearing the "right strings" won't fix the problem :)
@@Violinna oh evah pirazzi die right away? I didn’t know it because I don’t use it. Friends said it’s loud, has high tension and better for soloist. That’s why I never dare to buy it. Thank you for all your videos! Great tips! Especially for us wanting to improve and dig deeper into techniques and skills. Finally one more youtuber who doesn’t only teach beginner “how to”

Great tips
Thank you! :)
I wear Dimenuendo Ear Protectors. Expensive yes but one is able to either open fully or close. They were recommended to me by a professional drummer.
Thank you for the recommendation! Am actually planning to try something new, and the ability to change how open/close they are is very helpful!
