Awesome! Great video, just what I was looking for! Other videos are incomplete and assume your already know how to do various things. I'm a newb, and needed the step by step guide. Now I feel confidant I can do this because of your video. Thanks again!
Great tutorial. Very detailed and what I was looking for. One thing though, the charger cables need to be connected to the terminals under the hood of the car, not directly on the battery
@@tickandslug lol bro. Lol. It's made for under the hood. U don't need to even see ur battery lol. Same thing with a jump start. They are terminals in the engine bay

Currently I have the v9 mhd stage 2 + for my n54 , now I’m trying to flash the v10 map but do i have to flash back to stock then flash the v10??? Or can I just flash to v10 right off the bat while still on v9??? Thanks in Advance !
Hi, I have a jb4 and I m trying to run a mhd backend flash on my 335 f30 PWG, but i cant seem to find a map that is compatible with my DME, im on normal PUMP, any ideas on where i can download the right map that can fit my car? thnx
Great video.... the only problem I have unless I am missing something I need to have WiFi access in my garage... which I don’t.... don’t know if there is an alternative as I don’t want to risk receiving a call while flashing.... oh and the charger should be best (safer) connected in the engine bay.... thanks again
There's no difference if you were to put them on the posts under the hood or straight to the battery, the terminals under the hood were only installed for ease of access. You can check the wiring diagram for any BMW, its literally straight copper from these 2 terminals to the battery, no diodes or capacitor inline with the cable.
You chose stage 2+ not stage 2 , and that’s only if you have a hpfp with catless downpipe.. so unless you have those mods I don’t think you chose the right tune for your car.
Can I get ahead of the game and just install MHD on my stock car without adding any power? Just so when I’m ready to tune, I don’t have to wait the 40min for first timer installation. I purchased the N54 super license and MHD WiFi adapter. How would that work if I have to be in airplane mode? Airplane mode on my iPhone turns off WiFi and Bluetooth. Thanks for any help!
in airplane mode you can turn on Wifi and bluetooth, also yes you can flash the stage 0 map which installs MHD, then when you get all the upgrades just switch the map to whatever you want it saves time
Pale__Horseman you don’t need a tablet, i would recommend purchasing the MHD wireless adapter, it’s safer, and flashes much faster, so if you ever need to change a map you will not require a battery charger, it is also compatible with IOS. You will however require a battery charger for the initial install, but it’ll be cut down to 20-25 minutes max.
Raahim Syed I was going to purchase a tablet to have it live in the car instead of busting out my phone each time to look at the gauges. I can switch from my iPhone to android tablet with ease now, correct? Since the new update. I just need to use same log-in.
Pale__Horseman Yes you can, whatever works best for you man, I’m running stage 2+ FBO right now and im pushing around 420ish whp on 93 octane and i’m loving it
@@markt9438 There is no difference, i recommend you take a look at the cars complete wiring diagram, there are no diodes or capacitors installed in series with the posts up front to the battery. It is a direct connection to the battery and exists for the sole purpose of accessibility for users.
@@markt9438 Like I said earlier, it is only copper wire that's installed between the front battery terminal posts and your rear battery, so there is no difference if you charge directly from the front post or directly to the battery. As you confirmed the diodes are on the battery itself and not on the posts up front therefore proving my point that you are not bypassing any of the diodes when you are charging directly to battery.
Still don't understand why you would spend 20,000 or more on a nice car, and then trust a cheap app to tune it. Just take it to a decent tuner, it doesn't cost much more, and have it done safely.

Jsut got my MHD wifi adapter in the mail today for my n54 pretty excited to install it here in a few minutes
Is this with MHD flasher license or with MHD Super License?
Great video man. perfect how to
Glad it helped!
Yo bro off subject. But where did you pick those door sills up ?? Can u send me a link .? There 🔥
Those are corny af.
If you buy the super license doesn’t it give you all the maps?
Great tutorial. Very detailed and what I was looking for. One thing though, the charger cables need to be connected to the terminals under the hood of the car, not directly on the battery
Why connected under the hood? I have never seen anybody do that anywhere.
Jose M. Guerrero because that’s what the positive and negative terminals are meant for in engine bay. BMWs Design idea not mine
Makes no difference
@@tickandslug lol bro. Lol. It's made for under the hood. U don't need to even see ur battery lol. Same thing with a jump start. They are terminals in the engine bay
You said stage 2 but chose stage 2+. Does it make a difference?
I assume the Stage 0 is the basic turn off the CEL after a catless downpipe?
yes
Does it support n20 engine (2016 f30)

So new tune more power ? By how much
Is it necessary to use a battery charger ?
if you want to, i highly recommended though bc if your battery dies, your completely fucked

Might be a stupid question, I see everyone flashing with their phone, is flashing with an android tablet possible as well ?
Tablet would work as well!
I know its been a while but I dont see the links for the K-Dcan cable or the adapter. Can you post that for us?
I already have a tune before i bought MHD, can i save this tune and access it again somehow later?

For mhd do you have to have android? I have an iPhone how can I do it? Do I have to use a different tune?
They just added an iphone platform today.

What’s the problem just go out of the garage and do it outside.. put it on airplane mode and that’s all.
What does mhd do? Not one youtube has mentioned what it does or a before and after video.
It’s tuning software bro
Can the phone go to sleep?
Silly question,i got free custom tune bin files.Do i have to purchace the mhd licence to tune my car or just dowload the app
Not too sure about that one, send MHD an email

No kdcan is only supported on Android
You said links for the cables in the bio, but didnt add the links.

Thank you!
Can I do my BMW X5 48i N64??
After I flash it can I take the block out of the obd port?
yes
Is there a flash to stock for when you go to a mechanic or dealership for maintenance?
yes
Yep but i took it to the dealer with it modified, unless its a warranty claim there's no need to flash it back to stock.
never ever put your battery charger straight on you'r car battery the chance you will get a peak voltage
can break your ecm or ecu and other modules

Yes but your cats will take a shit after a while
It’s filmsy guys…so don’t record it too long cause the film is filmsy LOL not flimsy in case you were wondering
more BMW vids!!!
How much does it cost for everything?
Mine was around 300 total not bad for a tune I’m only stage 1 tho
@@FattyV2 How did you get it for $300? If it's $315 for the flasher and $124 for the mapping pack?

Can you elaborate for me mate, as a noob?
I noticed that also

2+ is only FMIC, CAI, Catless DP which was installed on the car. Stock turbos run outta juice way before the hpfp will
