I know Texas is supposed to be the star of the show here, but my god, I loved every single moment that Lappland was on screen here. My crazy little wolf just has so much personality to her and they really showed it all here, I love it.

It's crazy just how expressive and fluid the models have gotten over the years in these animations! Lappland in particular is just oozing personality and swagger here! Seeing the behind the scenes look at this was really special, too. Old school 4:3 aspect ratio to the wall breaking the cinematic back to full 16:9 is beautiful 😭 But Texas holy Also while the Nearl Animation was def a skyrocket in Animation quality Something about this cutscene (besides the fact Texas is styling) Feels more “refined” than any previous animation. It’s a mix of the improved art style and shading in certain scenes. Certain shots even though it IS 3D still feels like 2D. Not sure if that makes sense lol. All to say Texas

Song is so great, from a jazz fans perspective. Call and Response and Walking bass line are definite big band tropes, but I also enjoy the bebopish energy of the latter part. Its rare for video game compositions to acknowledge the energetic side of jazz imo, so this stuff's refreshing to hear.
I knew Sora can sing BUT DAMN i didn't know she can also sing this kind genre and i need more of this I'm thinking on buying her skin even though i don't have just to stare at her

The Lappy cut to aspect ration switch is still as glorious as it was when I first noticed it in CN. God I just love the way this teaser is put together like part video magic, part editing sweat and 200% LOVE.
