Man, when I've heard the "To be a knight is to be a noble light that illuminates the land.", I got the chills. She's so BRIGHT. It highlighted just how great her character is, with her staying like that even when Terra's messed up; to the point that even Kal'stit couldn't help much despite what she had done over the years. I guess I could understand why Shining is like that when it came to Nearl... Awesome work yet again!
Funny how Asian countries know how the write strong female characters, while Hollywood still hasn’t got a clue. Being a strong female character isn’t about beating a bunch of people up or throwing around sassy remarks. It’s about strength of character and morals. It’s about fighting for more than your own selfish desires. It’s about being a beacon of hope for others.

Gotta hand it to Arknights' Animation team. They really went all out on this one!! Also DAMN can we just admire how Platinum held her ground even in a 2v1!!! This is totally Arknights' best animated teaser I've seen yet!
As the story in Pinus Sylvestris implied, Platinum is a very strong knight and an excellent archer. I won't be surprised if she is actually as good in lore as Fartooth. As for that battle, credits should be given to Nearl who manages to close the gap between her and Platinum since Platinum was quite far at the start of the battle (fighting from distance is going to be advantageous for Platinum). In that close combat scene, she didn't manage to score any hit on Nearl but was pushed back by Nearl. Nearl also was able to neutralise her long range power shot with her own Gae Bolg (fate reference). In short, close combat Nearl was pushing Platinum back, long range Nearl was equal to Platinum
As a non Platinum haver I don't have much to say cause I haven't read her lore I'm just actually surprised cause I think most of the time, if an archer without any substitute weapon gets close to a melee enemy especially one that is charging towards them, they are done for. Platinum really fought well in this teaser

The animation quality is off the charts here! This teaser is an absolute gift from start to finish, and just, can we talk about Nearl? She’s so BRIGHT. My admiration for her as a character went straight up with this.
This is telling the story of Flametail participating in the kazimierz major and why she almost someone so dearest and close to her with Nearl finally returning to her home after being exiled.
The epitome of true chivalry and knighthood makes a triumphant return on her home to protect the ideals of her nation. Glory to Nearl for being such a damn badass character. Hopefully we get more Trilogy events since we had Maria Nearl, Pinus Sylvestrus and now Near Light consecutively. The PV just adds more power on how beautiful of a character Nearl is too. She really deserve her title as the Radiant Knight.
Well said. This is why I really like this trilogy as well. Knowing that Nearl still care about her nation as well as decided to come back to settle things is just beautiful. And then getting a further insight about a nation inside Terra is a treat for me.

I've probably watched this video close to 100 times since it was released, and it impresses me every time. I still get a kick in my heart when the girl is crying her eyes out every everything she's know has been destroyed. I still get a chill running down my spine every time NTR voices her lines as she enters her scene, her VA has such a powerful voice. This is by far the best trailer they have done yet, and calling it a teaser is a shame. This is nothing short of a masterpiece!
That was terrific! The pain, the distress, the despair... suddenly melted in the light of Margaret, leaping in to save the day. This is how you properly hype up for an event!
Finally, we've got the banger officially released for global. The mixing on this and the EP are both wonderful, gotta love the dramatic tone of this one and the upbeat rush of the EP.
I still cant get over how good the pronunciation of Kazimierz is, cudos to the voice actor because I know this ain't an easy task :D Great animation and trailer, I am so hyped for the new event! Fun fact, in my town in Poland, there is a Kazimierz neighborhood which is usually described as the most dangerous place to live in the area because of the amount of dangerous people living there so the name sometimes rubs me the wrong way :D
I remember that at first they pronounce it wrongly with RZ (literally) at the end, and then they change these lines. I was happy cuz I love Poland and Kaziemerz and I even tried to study polish but ended up studying angielski again)) I hope one day I could return to polish.
Damn, how i want this version of Radiant to be released. The slower pace of this song is perfect in this trailer. I actually like the slower buildup in this video than the actual song. And the payoffs with nearl entrance is absolutely perfect.
This is a smooth 3D animation. It doesn't feel clunky, stiff, or out of place; It actually feels right. Kind of reminds me of Astartes in some way. I wouldn't complain if their anime adaptation was 3D. Also, this is what +1 range and slightly decrease atk speed looks like.
The 2d and 3d animation is on point as always. If this is what their traits look like in animation, i wonder what would aak's passive be like instead. Die on the spot when he doesnt have anyone to shoot?

I keep coming back to this "Teaser" as it is just so well done. I keep tearing up on how cool Nearl Is. Her Entrance is one of the greatest things I have ever seen in my life.
I come watch this every now and then when i feel down or defeated. No matter how destroyed you feel, or how low you think you can sink, you can always get back up and be a shining example for someone else. Even if you don't ever realize it.
I watched it back when it was first around on CN then I watched many times, because of how epic this "teaser" is. Both then and today it made me geniuely cry, because of goddamn legendary this animation is.
Nearl was my first operative (She fell out on the most first twist), so I got attached to her and when I found out about her Alternative, I wanted her wildly. I also started to think that she was the best among all, and now after this animation, my opinion that Nearl is the best only strengthened.
I've watched this video at least twenty times, but I only just noticed this time that at 03:25 you can actually see the infected girl running towards Flametail in the background. Shit... The detail.
When this first showed up for the Chinese version I was blown away, and watching it now I am once again blown away. The framing and storytelling in this short segment is masterful, every piece of visual and sound so perfectly woven together. Above all is the sense of *contrast* that it portrays, the warm brilliance of the light and suffocating depth of the shadows. And of course the remixing and first taste of Nearl's new musical theme is incredible, especially when she arrives in FlameTail's (and perhaps Kazimierz's) darkest hour. "Fear neither hardship nor darkness" indeed.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAA HYPE HYPE HYPE. The animation quality is totally off the charts for this one. It's an insult to the team to deem this anything less than a masterpiece.
Finally the animated teaser for near light is now global, let us witness the light of kazmierz in her true paladin form, and flametail dodging everyone's banner pulls.
That part about flametail made me laugh way more than it should have. lol Hope you won't jinx us on this one, I'd like to get both of them if possible. ;)

(if only I was that lucky. lol)
This is the one gacha I am glad to spend money on. Every expansion we get quality stuff like this AND we're getting an anime. Not to mention the multitude of books worth of story we get. Bless HG and Yostar, keep doing what you're doing. Worth every penny.
Honestly most of the ending part could be a wallpaper. My favorites would be the nearl's spear sword landing, nearl spin in the smoke, platinum and nearl slow mo (platinum keeps her cool in that scene its awesome), and finally when nearl throws her spear and an atomic bomb drops in the area
Yes! Nearl spin out of the smoke amazes me every time I watch this (which is a lot). Would love a high quality fanart of that. Totally agree with the rest too.

I just want to point out that the moment where Nearl spins her lance to counter Platinum's arrow and set up an attack was fully and perfectly animated. Even the end where she had to flip her left hand over to swing the lance at Platinum. That's impressive, for how fast it actually was. I'm sold.
This is the exact reason why I consider Drum & Bass to be the most powerful genre of music ever, be it in Nearl's case right here when it explodes along with her fighting spirit or be it in the case of real life where its one of the biggest motivational genres in the world, it always lifts you up especially when it elevates from an orchestral symphony. Absolutely breathtaking as always Yostar, HG & Mary Clare.

I thought this animated short supposed to be an animated version of certain scene in the Near Light event, but turns out this animated short is actually a prplogue to the entire events. Very cool.

This is the one gacha I am glad to spend money on. Every expansion we get quality stuff like this AND we're getting an anime. Not to mention the multitude of books worth of story we get. Bless HG and Yostar, keep doing what you're doing. Worth every penny.
Honestly most of the ending part could be a wallpaper. My favorites would be the nearl's spear sword landing, nearl spin in the smoke, platinum and nearl slow mo (platinum keeps her cool in that scene its awesome), and finally when nearl throws her spear and an atomic bomb drops in the area
Yes! Nearl spin out of the smoke amazes me every time I watch this (which is a lot). Would love a high quality fanart of that. Totally agree with the rest too.

One of my favourite events ever, hyped for it for months, and now that it's gone...damn. What a great event.
Nearl's entrance look so majestic. Flametail looks very cute too.
This is still my favourite pv.
New PVs had big jumps in quality, but none reached the hype, synergy and feeling this one reached.
I just want to point out that the moment where Nearl spins her lance to counter Platinum's arrow and set up an attack was fully and perfectly animated. Even the end where she had to flip her left hand over to swing the lance at Platinum.
That's impressive, for how fast it actually was.
I'm sold.
This is the exact reason why I consider Drum & Bass to be the most powerful genre of music ever, be it in Nearl's case right here when it explodes along with her fighting spirit or be it in the case of real life where its one of the biggest motivational genres in the world, it always lifts you up especially when it elevates from an orchestral symphony. Absolutely breathtaking as always Yostar, HG & Mary Clare.

The story is amazing, I never thought Flametail’s story was this emotional, I love this game. Also, the fight scene is just on top, Platinum fighting, Nearl, and Flametail combat scene is just AMAZING ⭐️

I thought this animated short supposed to be an animated version of certain scene in the Near Light event, but turns out this animated short is actually a prplogue to the entire events. Very cool.
