In my opinion, this is the most iconic song from Sreaming for Vengance. The quality and tune of sound they archive is just so pure heavy metal, that you can feel your self riding the eagle on the album cover...
There are no underrated gems on this album the reason this album is so great is that everything on it is killer from the beginning to the end there is no weak link
@@joeyuzwa891 I was referring to the DOTF album itself. The original comment called screaming for vengeance (the album) their magnum opus, but in my eyes, DOTF is better. Plus DOTF (the track) is barely a song, just a way to end the album.

When I was only 10 years old I used to put this album on my dad's record player and crank up his Kenwood stereo with two 12s 2 10s and two eight and a halfs and some tweets the plants & the windows would shake!
I grew up on this because my dad had a bad ass system from Kenwood and this is one of the albums that we used to crank up and the neighbors had no choice but to listen to it!
To the youth of today, sit down, shut up about your music and listen. No, no talking just listen. Close your eyes and imagine being at a Judas Priest concert. You can feel the energy about to explode upon you as every hair on your body stands just as you do. Here it comes, lights go down. Awe hell quit looking at your phone and look up. Look up and live
Man. I remember asking my dad to repeat this song in the car right after it ended. 25+ years ago... I'm a 90's kid but JP was my favorite band, thanks to him...
Been a fan since 1978. Have seen Priest 3 times. Of all the great songs, Bloodstone is the one I listen to the most, specifically live versions. To say I love this song is true and I have had it in my life for decades.
US Festival, '83. I was 15 and ran away from home for that week. Holy Shizzle JP rocked the damn whole part of the STATE down, SoCal was never the same---- I'll never forget it.
Love Judas Priest never gets old. Been listening to this since my teens. Rock & Roll for ever. This is better than rap music crap everyone listens!. 😂🤣 👍
Great to see tracks like this and Priest in general getting the respect they've deserved for decades. So underrated for their time and long overdue to be inducted into the HOF. Priest for life!
Glenn just ripping your heart out. KK steady as always. Snotty heart stealing. Rob holding sway. Ian just doing what he does. I love to see comments from all over the world

Ah this was the song that I heard that I've been looking it lol I thought it said something else other than blood stone lol... Awesome jam... I have been studying and learning up on my Judas priest riffs and licks this is definitely on the list.
I just heard someone else listening to it but I knew who it was ... I just thought he was saying back stabber for some reason lol 😂 I was more locked into the guitar anyway... I should of yelled out the window in the traffic like wtf is that called hahahaha 🤣
When Bloodstone is a forgotten gem, you know your career is massive.
This is one of my favourites.
True.
Is that a pun???
The fact that this isn’t too 10 Priest songs does say a lot about the band
😊😅😊
Why isn’t it common knowledge that this is one of Judas Priest’s best songs?
Right
It is, but ONLY among REAL metalheads!
Because Priest delivers a LOT of goods.
It’s tied for first along with The Sentinel.
One of the Best from them...
If you grew up in the 80's, banging your head and swore allegiance to the metal for life,
you were listening to the REAL SHIT like this!
61 and still banging. 99% are sheep. follow the god within you.
One of my favorites!! 😍😜 love JP!! I’m 65 and still rockin on.
Keep rocking \m/
Good for you Becky 👍💪🏆

Dave left the band because he was thrown into prison for being addicted to kiddy porn.

Such a nasty riff on this. I'm fucking old. I still annoy the shit out of the neighborhood with this hahahaha

This album is truly a Masterpiece!
My all time favorite.
My favorite one too then British Steele
that guitar tone😍....very few people can play it the same way
Even fewer have the wall of Marshall amps needed to play it like it should be.

Greatest opening riff ever!!
I've been listening to this song for over a decade, and just yesterday discovered that the chorus is him yelling "Bloodstone", and not "Let's Go" 💀💀💖💖
Loll
Been there done that . I’m better at air guitar
That's funny! A friend of mine many years ago thought he was saying " get stoned".
That's the name of the song lol

One of their best. Great drumming, riffs and solos, and of course totally bad-ass vocals from Rob.
