I think Fender should pay you for using this amp. I just ordered one and I hope I'll get it today. Thanks you - the music is wonderful. Greetings from Freiburg.

I love this tone, slightly distorted, I love it! Also dug the HRD and DRRI combination in one of your other clips! Thanks for posting!

Thanks! Yes - it is. In my opinion definitely a better choice for Rock than most Fenders (that might have less midrange). Also, you can always add the enclosure - a nice combination.

Hi & thanks! I feel better with the GB: It has more mids which give it a little bit of punch. Plus, it has a very effective mid control, my Deluxe Reverb has none. The second reason is the separate (fully closed) speaker cabinet that comes with it. That's a great combination and adds loads of power/volume on stage.

Thanks, Marlene! Yes - I love that band. We had so many great nights together. I think you're gonna be very happy with that amp. It's so nice how it works without the cabinet and "grows" to a big amp with it.

Hi Koen. Well, hard to guess what would be the best choice for your taste.
Generally, I think the GB gives you more options. (Good) Strats sound good with everything, but a Jazz guitar is harder to suit. Mids are the problem. So, I would go for the GB, it distorts later, stays clean longer, has great mid control.
But it's all your taste, in the end.

Thanks for all your advice on this amp, Im quite interested, the video to me sounds quite distorted for the guitar is that the way you set up the preamp or is it reaching max volume already?
Your right about the mids being better I think but theres too much distortion from my end.
    Danke.

Cool video. Do you think the GB amp is versatile?
I play blues, rock and jazz and am very interested
    in it.

That's just how much distortion I get with this L5 when the volume is set to 9.
I have another L5 that is totally different and won't distort. If you wanna be sure to not get any distortion, the Twin Reverb is it, I think.
    Gerne!

I don't think so. It sounds different - and it's never really clean.
I used to have a Fuchs top before which was more like a Dumble - a whole different sound world.

    Annoying, distorted crap amp.
Hope the G.B. Twin sounds better than this... a LOT better....
