Can we get a 30 second tutorial on how to scream like ex Veil of Maya vocalist Brandon Vocalist. There are samples of his screams in the Eclipse album where he gets a high and low out at the same time and makes it roar like a demon. Mainly just want to know if that's actually possible or just post production effects.
I know how to make the distorsion and all, but the problem it's that my scream is not heard loud, it don't have that intensity, it don't hurts me but if i try to make it with more distorsion it starts to sound like dry and with little volume, can you help me or give me some advice on how to do it? 😢

My family gives my 5 year old daughter a hard time cause she sometimes will hit a growl or like a deep scream for attention but it sounds pretty metal. So I have been showing her your videos to encourage her to have fun with her voice. I love trying these.
Amazing! Just make sure she doesn't hurt her voice. You can do some pretty serious damage to your vocal chords if you put the wrong (or too much) strain on them.

@@mannyblackstar If you still want to learn then I know it sounds ridiculous lol but all you have to do is copy the sound. Dont second guess how you sound, just try to make the exact sound and manipulate your mouth, throat (preferably not), stomach, tongue, whatever it is you gotta do to make the sound, and then just go for it 100% dont hold back be as loud or as quiet as you need to figure it out. This is the only way ive been able to learn new ways to sing beyond the ranges im comfortable with. The only times i havent been able to learn and get at least close and or sound any more decent is when i stopped doing this, started judging my own voice and didnt let myself learn because of thinking i sounded stupid and or just not wanting to keep it up cause i thought i couldnt do it. But for the most part thats just a limitation we give ourselves I believe. If youre passionate about it enough youll get it down

I wrote you a mail 2 weeks ago to grab infos, telling you I've been trying for years (15 actually, no joke) to let out a single scream, and a few days ago that was it. I've practiced a lot since based on Linkin Park's Faint, and you just confirmed that's exactly the technique I finally found. A distorted sung head voice ! My ultimate goal. Thanks a lot for your videos man, much much much appreciated !

I most definitely do not sound that good in ANY sense..... but it absolutely does not stop me from screaming this part with everything I have inside me.... it is exactly how I feel at times... ok ok, a LOT of the time, since the song first came out. I've had these feelings since I was old enough to have memories and people felt it was ok to hurt me in one form or another ... then his screaming it in this song...ugh... he voiced it for me and allowed me to scream it out loud without making big issues cuz, I'm just singing a song right, no big deal... this is why music is so important...to me at least... it makes you move, sing and some give voice to things you can't say on your own but need to scream out, or song out. Can't live without it :)😊

Theres a research article that talks about kids who been put through high levels of stress and that would cause their vocal cords to tense up and that would cause them to sometimes talk in a high pitch voice ( not fully) when put in that state. Ngl I appreciate the assist coach💯

Gonna have to disagree slightly because so much of what makes a vocalist great is their ability to connect with people and how they emote through their vocals. Technique is one component but there are some truly incredible artists out there who embody everything it means to front a band
