I love how even though the ending is obvious, we still laugh. You don’t need a twist when the execution and acting is perfect! That’s what made K&P the best… you never knew if it was a twist or not, you never knew what to expect next and they made jokes about basically everything and everyone. I don’t think anyone has done sketch comedy as well and probably won’t again… K&P was something special.
Keegans ability to make his voice deep and transform into a completely different character is amazing. Literally sounds like a character from the The Wire Edit: I know what "acting" means but that doesn't mean someone automatically is gonna have a range of voices. Idk what r these replies tbh
I work in corrections, and I can tell yu while certain things are bad, it truly is nothing like the movies anymore. I've heard old timers, the people who have worked since the 60s and 70s, how it once was. But the day to day, it isn't even close to the movies. Shit still happens, but it is legitimately rare, at least in my facility, we have had zero non consensual relationships for over a year and seven months. Considering we house people who prefer consent not existing, it is impressive in a way. One thing you should remember is that the only thing movies get consistently right, is that we have a majority of people who have witnessed or been involved in murders, violent violent people, and people who get off on human suffering. The thing movies get wrong is that many of these same people who do these things are just.... unintelligent. They are not sociopaths, instead.... They lack the ability to see more than 1 step into the future. The only comparison to them, who can let 3 seconds ruin 30 years would be someone who gets mugged for $10 and decides to burn $1,000,000 since they lost $10 and don't care about their life savings anymore.

It looks like people still ignores that the prison system, particularly the one made by private prisons in the U.S., they're a business and they need the prisoners to make money, so there's very little that's done to try to reform the prisoners. You also can notice how the justice system works different based on the ethnicity of the person. The U.S. has the biggest private prison population in the world. During the early 20th century, you can find they wanted to use the prisons to get rid of the part of the population they didn't want in their society by making them infertile.
