key and peele are the masters of improv and sketch comedy.
Their attention to detail is partly what differentiates them from your average actors. Look at Key's body posture in the Mr Mahina skit: slouched, weak, etc. Even his pants convey his dorkiness: all rumpled and frumpy...

I’m guessing Mr Mahina wanted them to switch places because it took him nine minutes to walk to the office and he wanted to get in and get started before everyone else arrives.

The most unrealistic part of the last sketch is that they finally understood that they were being an ignorant asshole. But the immediate change in tone when someone who's gay for attention meets someone who's genuinely gay is perfect. Made me laugh my ass off.
It's not unrealistic. He realized it because the guy was hot. He's just a sex crazed maniac, so that's what it took to get through to him.
Gay for attention? No one is gay for attention, just like people are not black for attention or white for attention. People are also not straight for attention, although many straight men do seem to like to repeatedly remind everyone that they are straight; however, this really is due to their background, personality, cultural influences and their own personal insecurity. Now some gay people dealing with their personal insecurities (heightened from a lifetime of facing discrimination) might over compensate in their behavior.
no one is "gay for attention" you need to stop watching fox news or whatever conservative media made you think that crazy outliers and homophobic parodies are actually common and real
