  • Fire Cider
1/2 gallon mason jar and lid
    1 onion (any variety)
    2 knobs of ginger
    1 bulb of garlic
    1 lemon
    1 sprig of rosemary
2-3 inch cut of horseradish root
    1 jalapeno
    2 knobs of turmeric
Cop all ingredients, do not peel, place in mason jar. Fill mason jar to about half an inch head space with apple cider vinegar with mother.
Everyday, for 6 weeks, give the jar a shake. Every few days crack the lid to burp it. You only need to burp it the first 2 weeks, most likely.
After about 6 weeks (you could go as long a 3 months if you wanted) use a cheese cloth or tea towel or a fine sieve and strain out all solids. Add honey to taste to the remaining liquid. Enjoy a table spoon every morning for gut health and immunity boosting. A table spoon every morning and evening when you are feeling unwell.
If the taste is too strong try adding it to a large beverage, cup of tea, or even adding it as a salad dressing.
    Natural Bug Bite Remedy
    4 tsp charcoal powder
    2 tsp psyllium husk powder
    3/4 cup of water
Stir well until it becomes a jelly. Keep it in an air tight contain and place it in the fridge.

Thank you Robyn! I would love for you to tell us about natural remedies that you come across that work! I totally feel just like you do about getting back to natural remedies and not using all these chemical products. I will tell you another great natural remedy to use first bug bites that works great. When animals get hurt out in nature they go lie in dirt or clay to heal. Redmond’s clay is a wonderful natural healer to use for many things. Like the charcoal it pulls out toxins and you can use it internally and externally. It has a lot of good voltage to pull out non healthy frequency toxins from your body. It’s great for bug bites or stings. You mix up several tablespoons of clay with several fresh Comfrey leaves eith some water in a blender. Clay will absorb the water and make a paste like mixture. Mix the mixture until it’s the consistency of mayonnaise you put some coveting the bite or sting and wrap the hand up in Saran Wrap donut won’t dry out or fall off. One of my daughters was very allergic to mosquito bites. If she got bit her whole hand or foot would swell way up very quickly. The clay and comfrey leaves mixture would pull out the toxins from the bite very quickly. Within a half hours time the hand that was so swollen would be back to normal size and no more itching and pain. In fact the itching and pain go almost immediately.

@@realfoodgoodfood I just realized that I forgot to tell you that I keep it in the refrigerator in a small glass jar just like you did with the charcoal mixture.
