- The local business that has operated the burro, a life-size stuffed donkey, was issued an eviction notice from the city of Los Angeles. NBC Los Angeles' Jonathan Gonzalez reports.
Let him stay, leave him alone. I can’t believe the city allows homeless people to stay where ever they please, but they want to evict a man who pays taxes and has been there forever. What the hell is wrong with people.

Maybe, but it also seems pretty cut and dry. It was up to the tenants to have their dealings in order. Apparently they knew this and didn't care enough about the instances where his name wouldn't be added to the lease. They just said oh well not this time either and apparently forgot all about it. It might seem predatory or shady, but honestly it is going as it should be.
They spend billions on a bridge and can’t save this lil burrito that is possibly historic

You're both right. They could have granted the son a new lease, but he waited so long to do so, and now whoever is renting it out could make more money by giving the spot to someone else.
