    You have very good skills. I think that this would be really cool when using it on a puppet. These are all features that make the character very animated. It was hard for me to get good eye set since I just purchased the standard ones from Target. I guess I gotta keep learning.

    Fantastic, i wanted to have moving eyes on a traditional made rod puppet and i might be able to adapt this method to do so, food for thought anyway.

    Thanx Man!... Just whati was looking for. I made a Bird but my hand needs to not only go in the body (not the head) but my hand is also sideways... I have 5 vingers and need 5 individual controls... This solves at least three of the 5 issues...
    SO >>THAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANX. Awesome MOD!. Rather than extra string , wires ,,,levers..ect ...This is .. Less... and direct ..awesome .. .. Just ... awesome..DOpe!

    I’m trying to find ideas for my plushtrap’s eyes If you want you can look him up But I want to make the eyes very accurate It’s all right if I can use marble or glass? And I want to give it eyelids it’s going to be just a doll but with some metal parts like the rod to hold the head in and I want to be able to take the eyes out to do some affects

    Would I use the cable method to have it look up and down as well as side to side or how can it do both?

    How would I do this if the eyes were on the sides of the head? Im interested in dragon puppets

    • @Equespecte
      @Equespecte  6 лет назад

      That's an excellent question. I've never built a rig for a puppet with eyes on the side, like a dragon... I'm going to start looking at designing one. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll get back to you.

    What is Plywood Showerboard?? I have never heard of it. The wood you are using looks more like 1/8" Luan Plywood.
    Just curious, as I have never heard of that.

    • @Equespecte
      @Equespecte  6 лет назад

      Tim McKinney it might be, for all I know. When I bought it, it was listed as shower board, displayed with that once sided white gloss ply that you can use as dry erase board. You can use pretty much any kind of scrap that works.

    is there a way i could do this and have it blink?

    • @Equespecte
      @Equespecte  5 лет назад

      Yes! The blink mechanism is a separate build, that goes over the eyes, I have a complex tutorial that features the blink as a cable control, but you could easily adapt a blink mechanism (cable or manual control) to fit over this eye rig.

    Are these sold, already-made, on a site somewhere? eBay?

    • @Equespecte
      @Equespecte  8 лет назад

      These are not sold anywhere that I know of, which I why I make my own. I have another tutorial video in the making that also utilizes easy to aquire materials and basic fabrication skills.

    • @rickcina6090
      @rickcina6090 8 лет назад

      Please let me know if you're willing to sell an "extra" one of these, and for how much.

    • @Equespecte
      @Equespecte  8 лет назад

      Man, I wish I had these to sell. Right now I only have the ones I use in my puppets due to the fact that I made them for the tutorial purpose. I will be sure to keep you updated, if I make a few more and an extra one turns up...
