And I love his story. Wasn't he like stocking shelves or selling real estate in Las Vegas when he got the call to come back and play quarterback for Minnesota? Maybe I'm mixing his and Kurt Warners story a bit but I'm pretty sure he was just living a normal life working a normal job when he came back to kick butt with the Vikes

What's insane is that while the Vikings did go 15-1 in 98, the Cowboys were #1 in the NFC east and went 10-6, so it wasn't like Randy was playing against some terrible defense. Makes it clear just how incredible he and the Vikings that year actually were.

You are kidding right? He changed the team around and got them to the NFC championship game with CASE KEENUM!!!! And no Dalvin Cook of course. You dont just fire a coach because they didnt go all the way especially with 2 key starting players out due to injuries. You can talk about Foles all you want but it is beyond clear that Foles was never meant to be just a backup...that dude is starting material who was probably on shitty teams his whole career until this season. I dont even want to hear "Foles" and "backup" in the same sentence after what he has proven he is capable of. Even as a backup it is clear he should be starting. Like Garappalo, Brady, and Rogers...(all backups at one point but obviously starter capability.) Only thing Keenum showed is he is a good game manager and chokes in big games. Did I expect him to win the game by himself? No...but you need to do more than score 1 TD and throw pick 6's in the biggest game of your career.

This is the reason why Jerry Jones has caused so much damage to his own team by firing a coach who won them back to back Super Bowls, and failing to draft Randy Moss when they had the chance. Now that is why they haven' won anything in 25 years.

ihategooglespooks you would lose the game picking moss. Moss only became a decent route runner late in his career. He just relied on being a better athlete than the guy covering him for most of his career. This limited how you could use him to attack defenses. Which is why he only had 3 catches in this game. If he cared about technique like rice did he would have set every wr record but he didn’t. There is no limit to what rice could run in his route tree like moss had.
