Had a good moment helping out a new hunter against Zorah Magdaros. As we reached the point where we had to drive off Nergigante, it managed to hit the newbie enough times to stun them. Nergigante charges up, jumps towards them- And Zorah twists its head around and shoots it out of the air. Perfect save by the big lug!
The opening is so satisfying. Just seeing that miniature "Fatman" leave the narrow gunbarrel and arch through the air, plus doing a little strafe on the tree, changing its trajectory ever so slightly, then the monster just exploding moments later. s'Perfect. 4:22 These types of edits will never stop being funny. 🤣

Yep, I got carried through my few Fatalis runs too. I just went shield+sword doctor build and healed everyone while weakening parts constantly. That time limit was a pain though.
Think a lot of people have lost count on how many times they missed a helm splitter for some reason, mine are usually either the monster moved or a buddy stunned it causing it to be moved out of range lol. As far as those bugs, I'm guessing PC shenanigans? Cause I haven't seen anything remotely buggy since the console launch days. That Alatreon one where the guy almost died is very relatable for me and likely a lot of other people to lol, gotta love the strange luck we get sometimes

Seeing MHWorld now, makes me appreciate Rise even more. They really figured the physics with the RE engine for the Monster Hunter Series out. Especially the animations for the movement of the hunters feel a lot more fitting now
Agreed. I see old MH games and I think “yeah, this looks like a good idea, but it’s rough.” World and Iceborne felt like a worthy upgrade, and that the series wasn’t just stuck.
