Engineering is all about just clearing exams and write assignments it doesn't add any value to most of student's life. It is just frustrating writing assigments. Semesters are of 3 months only. There is alot of burden.

Actually india me education systems change hone chahiye . students need to be focussed more on practical than theory and approx 98 % collage and IIT in inda focus more on theory and students wastes their times on writing Notes , assignment, exam and they are not serous about any skill rather they study one day before exam only to get marks , where there is no value of theory so students needs to be exposed to different kind of new technology skills practical because at the end during job no one will ask you to write exam we will give you money rather they will give money for your work ....
Please understand the situation of indian education and we have to be in a unit to change it ...

Regarding bad teachers you mentioned, I want to share my personal experience -
We were on 1st year of our Mech. Engineering. There's a subject called Engineering Drawing (ED) which is very fundamental for an aspiring Engineer. Our ED was being taken by the HoD of Mechanical Department. Altough he was the HoD and had abt 15 years of teaching experience (by then), he was very bad at explaining even basic concepts , and kind of lazy too. Mostly, he used to avoid using blackboards and explained most of the things just orally, in air. Also, he used to get irritated whenever we ask doubts, sometimes embarrassing student in front of whole class. Overall, he was one of the worst teachers I've ever came across.
When our institute director came for feedback, we all students complained abt our ED faculty and requested to replace him. Shockingly, our director sir simply said NO at our face, refused to take any action, telling that he is the HoD and very experienced faculty and that he won't take any action against him (what's the use of taking feedback then).
When our semester results came, most of the students failed in ED, all thanks to that HoD guy and our director sir!
our teacher will never allow us to give such feedback no matter what you have to give least 9/10 otherwise whole class will suffer 🤣😂
Why talk of one Professor? Many, if not most, are like that. Nothing new dear friend. The story goes back since last 30 years, if not more.

Sir I'm fully upset with my university i.e, RTMNU,NAGPUR, MAHARASTRA UNIVERSITY.. The exam that I written in winter 2022 I didn't got the result that I have beem expected from my efforts, but it is not over yet I got 3 subject back including 5 subjects in it I solved evry paper with minimum 50-60 marks out of 70 and I clearly and confident that I would get minimun 7-8 pointer in the exam,. Because after written evry question paper I crossed exam my answer and I found that it's all are correct answer.. And this is not only my problem it happend with my friends also student appeared in exam is 100% and result is only 20% .. Sir I think it is a big mistake of checking papers or the management of RTMNU university , I raised my hands to solve this problem but my teachers said that you can't... Sir my college name is KAVIKULGURU INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND SCIENCE,RAMTEK, NAGPUR.. And I'm totally disappointed with my college management because it is 37 years old college but didn't get an autonomous yet. SIR Please help us to solve this problem.. And one more thing the subjects which I have given for recheaking the result are coming to late but back exam is scheduled before the results of recheaking then what is the work for giving paper's for recheaking.. Please manage this

Dronachraya college of engeneering gurgaon bhot low level clg hai sir kuch karo.. na tho summer vacation dete jisse intership kar le na coding sikhate acche se faltu ke 1 sem may 2 sessional 1 pre university and university hote hai i have potential to do best but clg ne itna mentally heart kar diya assignment and all exams ki haam bhot perashan hai this college is like jail..... kamse kaam internship jiske lag rahe hai usko tho allow karna chahiye nhi kuch nhi karte ...lab may teachers kuch nhi karate ak program de diya vahi chalta rehata hai matlab kuch bhi accha nhi hai and internal may bhot kaam number lagate hai .......
Sir , Our college is very lazy about infrastructure and lack of teachers and the professors who teach us are not so good. They come give lectures and go . No one asks about doubts and if we understand or not. The infrastructure is so bad even when the govt is funding the college every year. The professors are not so helping. If an avg students want some help from them they don't care. I regret taking admission in this college. - IIEST , SHIBPUR

Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College, one of the worst government college according to administration and learning. IT department me per semester 5 -10 class hota hai aur IT dept. tution fees highest hai pure college me. Upar se bas syllabus bataya jata hai jo bhi 1-2 class hota hai. 😰

We did all the things we did hadtal, in college and mess also with other college student and also broke the glasses of bus for this very same reason but we did found a solution to placement cell which never worked in our college and against college management which eventually changed and our branch which is civil engineering

What if someone wants to go into core sector..? I am a 2nd year student of ECE. I really like the ECE curriculum, and am thinking of preparing for GATE. Is it worth it then?
I like CS, but seeing the oversaturation and constantly getting beaten out by the highly competitive coder crowd, I'm deciding to try the core ECE side.
Unlike Mech, Civil and CSE itself, the future of ECE is bright as of heard.
@@rahulp4830 CSE is just recently saturated & meanwhile other branches were already saturated (like first Mech, Civil, then EE, then EC, then CS).
Maybe try networking, Verilog, VHDL, FPGA, etc or ARM programming, embedded C, etc.
Btw look for what companies come to your college & what they need. Sometimes you may get the job by looking at your certifications & still they'll give you different profile & you'll have to learn new stuff again.
As an engineering student we also felt this.

There is overeducation compared with the level of economy as present in countries like india. india is not good in manufacturing R&D centres of companies are not there in india, so level of concepts and education taught in btech and mtech, phd is of no use, as there are not R&D , design companies in india.
