What’s your favorite PSP model?
BTW, check out my website if you want to buy video games and consoles: www.jrobgaming.com
I adore my 1000 series. The spring loaded UMD drive was always so satisfying to open
Seems the battery isn't quite good anymore.
I would like to see a return to this design
@@seraf8297 nothing
First you buy something and you go ask us why. Now that's the why part 🤣🤣☺️😅🤫😂😂
The PSP era was truly ahead of its time
Nah it was definitely of its time
Got one when I was 9 for my birthday, was nearly late for school every morning due to pes lmao
It just needed a second analog stick
They shut down ps3 store and vita store so you can’t download games on the go no more, this is truly sad
Not even Nintendo could compete with it lol
PSP GO is a really good system, I had one but I would recommend just getting a Vita and Modding it because it can literally turn into a PSP and play all PSP games on a bigger and better screen plus the Vita collection of games.
Good point
@@jrob0021 I'd agree, if the Vita wasn't so large, what I love about the PSP Go is the formfactor, I got two of them and friggin love them.
@Neellav Gogoi as a psp and psv owner I'd say there's literally no errors and even more stable frame rate on psv with psp games.
I have a psp go, the rhythm cable is dead
As someone with both I prefer to fill my PSP with emulators, PSone games and PSP games. PS Vita is just for steaming my PS4 games and I have more room for games that actually require two sticks. Btw you can still buy games on PS Vita but you can't load more money on the Vita. You can load money into your wallet though another console or the website and then you can buy games on the Vita. I just bought the Uncharted prequel a couple weeks ago. I'm interested in modding my PS Vita now that they discontinued the PS Plus benefits(except for that singing monster crap).
at this point, i would say the best PSP is the PS Vita, especially when homebrewed and has adrenaline.
it's essentially turn your Vita into a PSP and you also have access to PS Vita and PS1 games, plus on some PSP games you can assign the second analog and some addons has it natively for some games, like GTA and Metal Gear and Overall, it just has a better screen, with the ability any of the PSP's screen types.
sp5
Bought used one for $80 it's freaking epic dude psvita to PSP to retro games
I had one at launch and it didn't have any games so I sold it. Now I play it everyday, its my go to console over anything. I own a switch, 3ds, ps4 etc. I got RetroArch on it with all the classic consoles and its set up so i get achievements on the games which brought new life into the games. Also the "Free" PS Store" is outstanding and so convenient! I'm constantly adding to it and making it better. I did this with the PSP but it can hardly play SNES, and the PSP Go isnt much different sadly.. Great for GBA though! I retired my PSP and will be giving it to a friend to hopefully pass on the nostalgia train. Don't buy a PSP Go, buy a PS Vita now because they will only go up in price and right now its an amazing value. Much more for your money than the PSP Go, unless your just looking for size.
Not a fan of how the resolution looks on the larger screen tbh... personally just emulate on my phone with a controller with upscaling
Its better to have them both since the PSP games look WAY BETTER in the PSP itself specially the 3000/Go, the Vita its preety good for what it is now with Homebrew but the bulk of its value its the PSP games which look off in the Vita, im hunting down a decent PSP since my old 3000 died and i cant get over the NOTICEABLE pixelation in adrenaline...all in all the Vita(with homebrew) is a solid 7/10 but the PSP was a beast 9/10 and its games stand next to the legendary SNES/PS2 games

Why? Theres a ton off free ones plus chrome extension!
@@NathanChisholm041 I’ve tried free ones in the past and they always slow down your internet connection to a crawl. Just my experience
@@jrob0021 you don't need vpn, its a scam
The whole "your isp throttles you while gaming thing and a VPN solves that" is a total lie.
Things like these make me miss sliding phones. The late 2000s-early 2010s were quite a time. With all this old stuff becoming trendy again like folding phones and wired earbuds, maybe sliding phones will make a comeback. I’m also hoping Sony makes a new PSP handheld competitor to the Steam Deck and Switch.
Good point, maybe sliding phones will become popular again…
They are still popular in Japan!!
@@jrob0021 Lmao if at all folding phones are the new slide phones, slide technology makes basically no sense in 2022
steam deck could become the killer of sony's future handheld (if only they even planned to do that anyway). But now let's just see.
Lmao I still use wired ear buds, headphones to this day. I do use wireless ones, like Raycon, but my reason to prefer wired ones is that I don't have to charge them
Ah, this was a nice trip of nostalgia. I went from the DS Lite to the PSP Go, was great little handheld. Never missed the lack of disks because i never owned any.
Proprietary charging wasn't really a big deal in 09, but the memory could have been a standard micro SD card
The worst thing about the PSP Go was the memory card . They changed to the memory stick micro M2 card which only had 16gb max and those go for $100+ .
Proprietary memory cards are annoying
Get yourself the PSP micro SD mod. Can expand to 128gb (no more than that as it doesn't detect the card.) I've done it to mine. It's brilliant.
@@jajabinx35 That is certainly the best option for PSP Go memory . I only have the original PSP right now so it's not a problem .
I found the 16gb M2 for $15usd, it was sold with Sony digital cameras.
@@FlapSmear78 That was a good deal . I had saved searches and notifications on ebay for years for Sony Ericsson cell phones that used the M2 micro but could never find anything with the 16gb . The majority came with small capacity cards and nobody upgraded apparently .
I have a white one that I modded with an internal SD card reader... it was a very custom part, but awesome to be able to use a huge SD card... I mainly use my Vita for PSP though...
My favorite is midnight club ps3
Would you be willing to part with it?
I modded mine with that plus a higher mah battery so the back casing is larger which guves it a more gripping handle 👍
I don't know if that dude still sells the internal SD extension but I actually bought two of them because I figured they would be rare.
haha me two. the Japanese guy isn't selling it anymore
I was fortunate enough to get a PSP 1000 and it was the best console I ever had. Love everything about it from the build quality through to the overall small finishes. Sony really did a good job with the PSP as a device, alot of "authentic" playstation design and feeling.
I would really hope to see more mobile consoles, but phones have taken the market moreso than Nintendo.
PlayStation was so awesome until the whole less is more design philosophy, IMO
@@prla5400 mass sales meant poorer quality. Back in the 90's and 2000's gaming wasn't as mainstream as it was now and a PSP back then was very rare (at least in my country)
I wish they made PSP 3
Why were you fortunate to own a PSP 1000 though?
The only thing they messed up with the 1000 was the screen, the later models all have better screens even though they have scan lines.
I’m amazed how the PS Vita is still being purchased through the web. It has a huge fan base and there’s always a new gamer finding out about the Vita. It was ahead of it’s time!
I also have a PSP GO with me. It was really a cool thing during those times. Used to take this console in my school and play it during boring lectures. The games which I have played on it was Assassin's creed bloodline, legacy of Kain: soul reaver and SmackDown VS raw 2007. Those days were really good. I feel so bad when they shut down the servers of it.
You didn't mention it, but one of the best things about the PSPGo is that it's a great PS1 console if you have the dock. You can connect a PS3 controller to the Go via Bluetooth; use the dock to connect to a TV or monitor, and if you have a PVM or something, it will play PS1 games in the original 240p (scanlines!). And, I mean, if you're running custom firmware, you can play any PS1 game that you got.
You don't need the dock though, you can also get proprietary connectors to use it on a TV.
14:13 Makes sense if you use the “right trigger” (R2) as a gas pedal. It’s touch sensitive to how far down you press it. Whereas the x button is just pedal to the metal always
I just found my old PSPGo the other day. Super excited to boot it back up after so long for a blast from the past.
I would regretlessly choose a PSP instead of playing from an emulator, maybe because I'm also a collector but I don't think it's that relevant.
Oh I always choose playing on the actual console rather than emulating as well. It’s just not the same
Hardware gaming is nostalgic. That's why I do it.
@@jrob0021 Yeah it's pure personal preference, you do get a lot of advantages with emulation but playing with the real thing feels great. As someone who uses PPSSPP on Android and play with my PSP 1000 model it's fun either way (and on top of that some games run better on the actual handheld cause of emulator compatibility).
Gamers weren’t ready for the psp go when it came out, now there’s so much demand for portable all digital consoles especially for retro gaming
I have a gameboy micro that I have on ice . I want find a good copy of Pokémon ruby
No there isn’t
@@hatefulgaming1800there definitely is China is pumping out a massive amount of different emulators.
I have one that can play upto ps2 games and it’s not even one of the best ones out
Still have my launch GO. I remember putting it in my draw in 2014 and picking it up in 2019 while packing for my Peace Corps staging, it still had battery life. The issue with the Go is that it had a small amount of internal storage and Memory stick duo minis were excessively expensive for what little storage you got. A Vita is a much better buy, specifically a slim model since you get the internal 1gb storage, since you can use a game cartridge to microSD card.
Ahh, I still remember playing gta liberty city stories on the psp go after school. However, the analog stick tends to hurt my thumb after some time, and the black colour started to fade after a few weeks. But overall, it is a great console. Sadly, I broke it due to gaming rage when I was like 12. But I will send it to be fixed probably at the end of this year. For now, I'm enjoying my nintendo switch lite.
I still have my PSP Go, got it in 2010. I also have one of my original PSP 1000s. I liked the Go, the analog stick is protected, it has bluetooth (I used it as a wireless MP3 player), 16Gb was quite a lot of space back in 2010 (I remember only having a 32Mb memory stick with my first PSP for so long, 16Gb was huge to me back then). It still had a Memory Stick Micro slot so you could add more storage if you wanted. I still have a 2Gb MS Micro.
I once bought a second hand psp go in 2014 , it was apparently in neat condition . It came with box, manual a post expect the charger . The ex owner told me she had dropped the charger and it wasn't working anymore so she threw it away . I believed in her and bought it without the charger . I spent some more bucks and bought another changer and to my surprise the psp go wouldn't charge 🥺 . I didn't understand why it wouldn't change if it was in such an impeccable condition. And then I examined the charge port and to my sad surprise it was damaged 😭😞 I had been scammed , I tried contacting the seller but she blocked my number 😡😡😡. That goes to show we can never trust anyone !
Lol wow. That’s why I don’t buy or sell locally anymore
Bruh you should first try the device and see it working before buying, and you could go to a repair shop
Obviously what u should have said is you can't trust 'some' people.. its very immature to say u can't trust anyone as though everyone in the world is alike.
@@moosetraxx not really. If he doesn't wanna trust people its his choice and anyone should respect it. It's not like as if he said we are all untrustworthy
We don’t have to respect anyones choice
now i wanna go digging through my old childhood boxes and look for this thing, such a good time to grow up.
The pspgo is still one of my favorite consoles for the design but I hated the lack of disc drive.
Opinion: The PSP GO was GREAT, just unfortunately too far ahead of its time. Had it come out even five years later, it would have changed EVERYTHING. Nowadays, portable, hybrid game systems, especially digital-based ones are bigger than ever. Also the fact that it's a literal proto-smartphone/handheld video game hybrid? I don't think anything else could ever be more "ahead of its time."
I like the Steam Deck from Apple
"Smartphone/handheld video game hybrid" sony xperia play enters the chat
They were a lot of smartphone console hybrids back then and basically absolutely all of them were a sale failure for various reasons
the one that doomed it is the fact that it was released at the turning point of two generations, and historically consoles released within that period is doomed to fail
Personally I think they would still fail due to being proprietary memory cards and they are custom size, not standard thus charging 2 or 3 times to what your standard Sandisk may cost.
I managed to pick one of these up in 2018 for dirt cheap and I really like mine, it's my favourite handheld ever, perfect for emulation
2018 was a good time for video game prices
I've still got a psp 1003 and I love it. Playing titles such as the warriors, ssx, Tony hawks brings me back to my teens
One year for Xmas I wanted a psp go sooooo bad , I was looking up videos constantly while playing osrs, sooo nostalgic, what even hit that nostalgic spot even better is when you pulled up games and first thing that came up was twisted metal . My gosh the good ol days .
14:14 yeah i remember i always use to remap the accelerate and brake buttons in racing games on the ps2. I used the right analog stick for acceleration and braking and it was a lot of fun that way
My favourite driving game is Speed King for the Amstrad CPC.
I remember my cousin had this and I was excited to see her play this..always by her side to watch her play.. couldn't afford one, that was maybe in 2010-2012 and until today I've never touch a psp..it was really my dream to have one
my psp go is white colour . really love the size , and nice graphic due to small screen . its soo compact
I got one of these back on 2010, I hated it back then because It was digital only, ended up playing some ps1 classics every now and then back then, but after like 8 years of not using it at all I found it in my drawers and modded it
Among all PSP models, GO is my favorite.
The screen looks sharper because of smaller display.
I'm binge watching your videos and subscribed. very good videos 👍
Thank you
One cool benefit to the PSP Go is that like the 2000 and 3000 models you can hook it up to a tv, but unlike those models you can actually sync up a dual shock 3 controller to the PSP Go Dock giving you the advantage of comfort and a set of L2/R2 triggers.
To me the PSP Go launched way to early. Sure noy being able to use your prior bought UMDs was a major problem but in the tech age of today a straight digital hand held like this wouldve worked a lot better.
They probably will never do it ,but Microsoft needs to make a portable
Would be awesome
It'd fail miserably like the Zune
A dedicated game pass streaming handheld, I could see it
bro nice you extended the watchtime hella. 17 minutes for a 5 minute video. good work. big money.
seeing and hearing that old console XrossBar UI brings back memories man
I remember everyone I knew, older kids/cousins and every friend I knew who owned a PSP like myself thought “Why does this thing even exist?”
Many news media and gaming news media and forums thought the same way, there wasn’t a need for this thing during that time where physical media was more common (and seeing how digital licenses aren’t permanent) and still is superior to digital games. It came out many years too early and it really didn’t need to exist.
Does anyone remember the Patapon 2 demo exploit? Half-byte for life!
I just got flashbacks when hearing the menu "tinks" when you move from option to option. I had one of these later in its lifespan, getting it in 2008 as a 1000 model, and I watched so many movies, played a bunch of games, and modded the back menu to look like my Xbox 360 (original) menu scheme. It was a fun console I def think was worth every second of use. Sucks it didnt support a lot of media formats on the web browser tho.
i still remember playing my psp under the blankets when in bed because i had prince of persia and was in love with the game and didnt want to stop playing
imo a psp 3000 is the best option because of price, screen and ability to use a sd micro card in an adapter with custom firmware, the disc drive not really needed either beacuse of that.
Oh that's on the same month and year I was born 😲
Nice
I had a white one, what a time that was, Life's been pretty tough from that point on. Thank you for the nostalgia trip, i had totally forgotten about this beauty that i once had my hands on
Patapon was genuinely my childhood game in psp and this made some good nostalgia
I had a psp 3000 and played around with my friend's psp go. I found the buttons to have less movement, and the thumbstick was a downgrade. Looks clean tho.
I'd love to see a video on the Xperia play! 8th grade me thought that it was the coolest thing of all time, and the true future of mobile gaming.
I’m hoping to buy one soon
I still have mine. It was pretty slick at the time. Loaded emulators on it and played those mostly!
Used to want one and still want one! Thanks for the review! :)
The beat that you used for the sponsor spot sounded so familiar that I had to go digging through my spotify playlists.
It's the instrumental from Solar Return by Kota the Friend & Saba!
Love my psp, favorite handheld that I had when I was younger. I've officially retired it as a shelf piece, it still works, but to prolong its life I switched over to an odroid go advanced and play via emulator.
Make sure you keep it charged every now and then it else it's battery will wear out from being near 0% for too long
Wow I had the sony xperia play it was similar to this but was a phone also ...its the device that got me into hand held gaming...its a great device it still works amazingly
I need to buy one of those
I bought one too day one of launch. Was disappointed with how poor the phone's camera was. Ultimately returned it for the Xperia v3.
Always wanted one of these 😎 awesome video 👍
I respect that bro taped it back up tbh
I owned every PSP model, and the ''PSP Go'' was by far my favorite. I heard a couple complaints when this device first came out. It couldn't play UMD's, and it's size gave some people hand cramps. I personally didn't find these to be an issue for me. I noticed UMD's broke really easily, so I was already going full digital. The built in 16GB of storage was sweet! Also I really liked the fact games simply looked more crisp because of the smaller screen. :)
I only had a 1000 and 3000
i just use it to play my ps1 games on my CRT TV
I’ve always wanted one but could never justify it.
You deserve more subs
These videos are amazing
gosh, i still have my psp 2000 and all the games still work. but since I got the iPod Touch 4G back in 2012, I haven't played with it like i used to. I used to go everywhere with the psp, then everybody bought the ipod too and ditch playable stations like the psp. just like the psp replaced the ds and the ds replaced the gameboy. Now I just have my phone and my laptop, which is all i need to survive currently. good ol memories tho.
I had a beautiful blue PSP 3000 that the UMD drive started to fail on I was debating on putting custom firmware on it because of the drive and the store gone was hoping you can still buy them on other systems sad to see it might not let you anymore
You’re supposed to be able to, it just wasn’t working on my vita. I didn’t try the ps3
@@jrob0021 I’ll have to try it on my ps3! See if it works🤞
these were pretty cool for the time and while you can use it for emulations a modern smartphone would outperform this. I cant really see any point in grabbing this unless you want to play on the original console, or you are a collector.
I remember my PSP Go back in middle school. I had it taken away from me a couple of times in school. I missed that thing
Hey man just pulled mine out of storage and wanted to know how did you get yours to connect to WiFi ? because I’m having trouble too.
I got one used back in 2017 and love it! It's in near mint condition, so I don't use it much anymore to keep it nice and clean, but it was an emulation powerhouse! I just got a Retroid to fill that role now haha
Did you buy it just to look at it?
I too bought a PSP Go in 2021... but why?? I wanted something clever in design. PSP Go offered that.
I remember playing Spiderman 2 on the original PSP when it came out. Then I had Need for Speed Carbon, GTA Liberty City, Naruto,…I can keep going but I might cry. Coming home from school, watching Naruto and Dragon Ball Z the Buu Saga..eating milk and Cookies and playing with my PSP.. they had amazing technology amazing games.
4:43 oh wow. You said X sqaure triangle and oh 🤣 it's circle lol!
The store still kinda works however they removed the function to buy games using credit or debit you now must preload the account with money and then you will be able to buy stuff this is valid for psp psvita and ps3
That would explain why it wasn’t working lol. I wonder why it didn’t just tell me that
@@jrob0021 not sure if you go onto the ps3 store it tells you in as soon as you go in
The psp thing could have been a major competition to the switch but the lack of interest from sony and their lack of support to developers bottled it
(Btw i may be wrong about sony lack of interest in it only seems like that to me)
I remember many years ago, I really wanted one so I did a massive internet search for a cheap second hand unit. Luckily for me second hand tech shops popped up all over the place and even luckier for me was there was a shop in the next town selling one. So I went all the way there to get it. I have uploaded a couple of RPG's on there including FF7. Love it! Also you can put put TV shows on a mem card and watch them on the Go!
this video came out on my birthday!
so lit!
Helpful tip: If you buy a system and it's sealed/resealed use a small amount of isopropyl alcohol on the tape to remove it without damaging the box.
Thanks, I’ll have to try that
Yes you can install CFW on a PSP 6.61 as that is the last update the PSP received.
Infinity 2.0 Permanent CFW works for 6.61 OFW
As being from family who cannot afford it its was my dream to get one of these as one of my buddy have it . Such good childhood memories
Man this brings good old memories 🥹
I own various PSPs and PSVitas since 2004. The PSPgo is my commuter console. It's so small you can really carry it everywhere on trains or busses. With a CF you can play a lot of great PSX and PSP games from casuals like Wipeout and Lumines to very long JRPGs like Persona 3. Unfortunately when it came out it was ahead of its time and downloading digital games wasn't a thing in many countries, but today it's awesome and the controls are way better than playing on a smartphone.
How have you owned ps vitas since 2004?
i have my PS Vita 1000 model with a SD2Vita card 64 GB just in it's package still for when it's my birthday next week and i think the Vita is better because you can then play both PSP and VIta among other systems ion it and there's plenty of game ports... and imo if it were done right Nintendo's 3ds could've lost to the Vita since it's definitely a Portable CONSOLE
edit: my Vita had only 1 previous owner and He had it jailbroken already which is another reason why i got it for my Birthday gift
Man I really wish these things took off, I wanted one so badly as a kid.
Omg that brings me back to the classic PS3 home screen
I always wanted a PSP, but my dad who was an avid gamer at the time always called it "the DS for rich people" and never bought one. But then again he was an Xbox (and later 360) player so maybe he just had something against Sony.
Oh, and Forza Horizon 3 was the racing game that started it all for me.
Was definitely the handheld for the kid who's family had more money than sense.
@@liammeech3702 I personally kinda felt bad for the kid with the PSP while everyone was trading Pokémon or playing Mario Kart after school. The social aspect just wasn’t there nearly as much.
@@CameTurner Your comment is one of the stupidest things I have ever read.
@@JohnGatsbyThe3rd thank you for the criticism, now if youll kindly refer yourself to your own name, and Ligoma Balls.
The PSP Go is one of the greatest compact gaming handhelds, it has Homebrew developers still keeping it alive and it's a beautiful and reasonably powerful device for it's size and era. I have two PSP Go's, one black and one white and I interchanged some of the pieces so both are now black and white in a way :P.
Also I really have some weird love for sliding actions and also clamshell designs, even if these designs are much more prone to breaking.
Also, the fact that this has no UMD drive, I don't care a single bit, I am much more a fan of digital media, and it's certainly not a huge problem for me, if Sony closes the PSN and wants us to start pirating, alright, it's their fault and in my opinion it's now Abandon'hard'ware so Abandonware rules apply.
Only thing I hate is the proprietary junk from Sony, Memory Stick Pro Duo are hard to find for a reasonable price and transfer cables also, in my experience most of the cables sold are just charging and allow no connection to a PC, which is now how we have to transfer games to it since there is no PSN. But I plan to fix all that, gonna try to make an adapter from Memory Stick Pro Duo to a Micro SD reader, and the most daring, I'm gonna see if I can convert it to USB-C.
hell yeah brother
You can get those adapters everywhere
17:19 "It belongs in a museum!"
I always keep the boxes to my electronics. I must take care of mine (:
I used to love the psp go. Mine broke due to the sliding mechanic breaking the ribbon cable for the video output, but replaced it with a PS Vita instead and never looked back. I still miss it to this day because the portability, but the Vita was for sure a worthy upgrade despite the lack of games.
It is a really cool system. I love the sliding mechanism tbh. It’s just too small to be comfortable in my hands for long
I'm not convinced of the lack of games on vita. I went for a scroll through pkgj and there are more games released on the vita than I think I could realistically finish. Short list of big AAA titles I guess? But most of those are repetitive garbage anyways?
@@cheeeeezewizzz Yeah I see what you mean. I believe what everyone means by games for the Vita being like exclusives+AAA titles. Because they can for sure make amazing games for that system that are exclusives, like Soul Sacrifice and Gravity Rush! AMAZING games, but we could've gotten SO much more than those two that are always talked about as exclusives. So it just sucks that the Vita didn't get too much love as far as games like that are concerned. Sure there's some AAA titles, but when people talk about more games being on the platform I personally believe it's good exclusives they're talking about.
@@jrob0021 Oh yeah for sure! To each it's own as far as comfortability is concerned. I used to own the older PSP version and thought that was uncomfortable during the times when I used it for longer periods of time. But hey, it might be due to the size of the objects that make them feel comfortable/uncomfortable for different people, who knows.
CFW for the psp and vita make them really shine. The load times are so much better once you go all digital. I still buy tons of physical games, but these handhelds are best when just playing off a SD card in a memstick pro adapter. No disc seek sound, faster load times and about as much space as you could ever want. Really solid system.
man I remember playing cod with this, time sure flies
The flip was one of the most satisfying flips
I had the PSP 1000 model (still have it) and installed custom firmware back in the day. While others did it to download PSP games, my main incentive was to get PS1 games on there. It wasn't too difficult to manually rip my PS1 discs (even adding custom game icons etc) and so I did a few, but the game I ended up playing the most (even vs my PSP games, which were all bought on UMD) was 'Gran Turismo'.
I can't remember what the deal was with the PSP GT game, I think it was a stripped back version (?). Anyway, I loved playing the original PS1 version on PSP.
I think the only PSP games I own digitally are the GTA games (the two 'Stories' games + 'Chinatown Wars'), but I got those for the Vita. Personally I think despite not being the native res, I prefer playing PSP games on the Vita. The original PSP screen didn't have a great response time, do there was plenty of "ghosting".
I only ever saw the PSP Go briefly, my friend from college picked one up. It looked nice, but like now I prefer my consoles & handhelds to have the option of physical. I had a decent selection of UMDs and no digital copies at that time, so for me I never really considered the Go.
It's not a simulator but my favourite is The Crew 2
The first crew game is one of my favourite driving games, I love how you can drive around the whole of the USA and see other players driving around also really fun to drive around on mount rushmore
Memory limitations meant mine just sat in the draw, then i lost the charger and now doesnt seem to work! could be the charger but since i would rarely use it is it worth buying a charger to find out
Some kid on my bus had this during summer school 12 yrs ago. That was the last time I saw this till today
Have mine softmodded. Just use the internal memory but have a load of games plus PS1 games and some retro emulators installed on it.
I find the trouble with it is it’s a bit too small and causes a bit of cramp when playing it. Tend to use the direction buttons rather than the thumb stick.
Agree on it being too small, just playing for like 5 minutes made my hands start cramping
I still play Gran Turismo on my PSP all the time! Gran Turismo is the all-time classic sim racing game, but for PC users, I always suggest getting Assetto Corsa and learning to install mods, because it's such a blank slate for so many fantastic racing scenarios.
me too!
Does it allow for Wireless Play with another PSP (other than Game Sharing) if they are both connected to the internet, have E-Mail Addresses, and have the same game?
Because why not? You make some of the best videos on the platform. Keep it up! Maybe I'll make something this good on my channel one day lol
These are hard to find especially in South Africa. Lucky I got my hands on one it was preloaded with 10 games and the unit itself came in a 8 out of 10 condition so not too bad and honestly given how hard it is to come by I can't complain. After all we're talking about a 2009 console here 🤷🏾♂️😂
You lucky I found one at cash crusaders but I was broke at the time and unfortunately it’s gone now😪. Getting a vita instead
@@holyother1 sorry about that man. Maybe it wasn't meant to be at the time. Hopefully you come across another one it's nice to have it in your collection. A vita is a good option whether you're a collector or if you just wanna play.
I remember by the time the Psp Go and Vita came out, nobody cared. The library sucked, they proprietorized the crap out of what ever they could... Even after the launch of the Vita, it was still more common to see the original, and the slim... And those were the people that didn't mind having a brick in their pocket everywhere they went.
Imo these are beyond useless and have been ever since ppsspp started getting good.
I still have mi psp but I need to get a good batterry since the one it had broke down. Do you know where I can get a good psp battery replacement from a good brand?
Seeing that WiFi set up screen again just screams nostalgia for getting pr0n from my neighbours WiFi hahaha
