I’ve been trying to find out the steps that I see many people do to salsa when they are stationary. It seems like a hybrid of the cumbia step by without the angle.
Of course I know the basic steps of salsa where you go forward then backward then back to neutral.
But this is closer to what I’m looking for.
Does anyone know what I’m talking about?

Why don't dance tutorial videos teach viewers by facing the same way? She's facing us so it's confusing. She should show her back to us while teaching so we're all facing the same direction. This is the 10th cumbia tutorial video I watch and it's another failure.
