I always say this Marty but you’re the best in the business.
One thing I notice about Machados interviews is he’s such a broken record. “We’re gona compete day in and day out” etc. And I noticed again that he doesn’t do well with interviews… “wouldn’t you like to know every single detail”
Anywho… continue the hood work and asking those great questions.
I'd rather he stick to a script, honestly. He could be a bit brash and charmless. Not good for the Padres organization to have the supposed clubhouse leader to sound complacent and then dog the fans. Yet, that was 2023 Manny. The guy's no politician, that's for sure. Essentially told us not to root for the team when they finally stop underperforming.

mostly the comment about What was said in the clubhouse. And when you were asking about kim you should have been straightforward and said "What are your thoughts on Kim moving to SS", instead of "what do you thing of the new shortstop HSK" not trying to tell you how to do your job just seen Manny go off on reporters before. Also thank you for interviewing Machado and all you do. #GoPadres @@MartyTimeTV
@@MartyTimeTVI really like and respect you as a dodgers fan, but the way you ask questions is like constant rapid fire with no breaks in between. And, I am not fond of Manny, but I really feel for him during interviews because he already hates interviews, but you do seem to push his buttons a bit in that way.
@JumboJuneau appreciate the feeeback. I value more relaxed interview settings but this day in particular was against the clubhouse closing in 5 min. Sometimes you have to rush your way through, which isn't ideal conversation
