First half of the season, he lost out to Luis Arraez and Ozzie Albies for 2nd baseman. But from the time they finalized the selection till now is when Kim started getting hot.
Its same thing with Julio Urias. Never made the All Star but he got hot later and became cy young contender but lost out to Burnes and Alcantara. Im honestly hoping Kim can try to win MVP or at least come close to it. That's way more valuable than making an ASG. Da hell, some players even opt out. Darvish for instance, opted out in the past.

lol you ain't wrong with the lineup being slumped. BUT HSK is much improved this year. The previous years, he had a tough time with velocity at the plate. Defense has always been on point tho
