Third, short, or second, it doesn't matter. Kim's glove is gold and his arm is incredibly accurate. This video shows so many off balance throws that are right on the money. I remember when he first came into the league he had a hard time handling fastballs as a hitter and didn't have much power. Last season he was one of the Padres most consistent hitters and if you made a mistake he was glad to pop it over the left field wall. Can't wait to see him play in Seoul, Korea against the Dodgers.

He doesn't play the outfield, it's just that he has so much range he can get to balls that are hit out there. As for the rest, he's what's called a "utility player" so he's able to play multiple defensive positions and in his case he can play them all extremely well.

Love Shin Soo Choo. He was the absolute GOAT before Ha Seong Kim. But I think if you asked even Shin Soo Choo right now, he'd hand the torch to Ha Seong Kim. Choo played 16 seasons and racked up a whopping 34WAR. Ha Seong Kim has only played 3 seasons and already is sitting at 12WAR. I think people really underestimate how good of a glove Ha Seong Kim has. In my opinion, Ha Seong Kim is one of the best infielders in the MLB defensively.@@josephk7530
