Neither of those should cause boost loss. The only thing I would look up before adding either is the difference between blow off valves and recirc valves so that you understand.
Thanks m8! I actually wasn’t doing snorkels I was doing a carbon piece for the radiator cover but was wondering how hard the cover was going to be. This looks pretty easy!
It was, I was very nervous about ripping the front end of but with a ratchet a 10m and a flat head you see how easy it comes off. Just be easy around the head lights would be my only extra tip.
Nice work! I am considering keeping the shroud when I install. Did you look into that at all? I think, what, you cut a rectangular hole into where the snorkel narrows down? I wonder how much that shroud really directs air to cool the radiator
I was thinking about that but didn’t want to chop up the stock parts. I think the shape of the bumper brings plenty of air into the radiator though. I have noticed any difference in temperature of car and I’m in Florida where it’s already been decently warm
Might be a placebo effect but first drive it felt just a little different. Like a very constant boost level. 0-105 in about 12.5 seconds. With just this and intakes.
@@kiastingergt2231 it might help just opening up the air flow. I picked these up used when I bought intakes and they had been sitting. Figure I’d throw them on the car if I have them.
Looking good! Loved watching this!
Will this kit fit the gt line trim. I know it’s single air intake.
Not this kit, but there is single side ones for the GT-line. I would imagine most of the installation is the same.
Question i want to put ingen intakes and hks BOV's in my stinger should i just do one or the other or am i loosing boost by doing both?

@RandomFootageFromRon thanks and I did from what I saw recirculating is more efficient and bovs just sound cooler

Ima just take off the stock ones and probably the grill

@@RandomFootageFromRon oh for sure I got a buddy that makes em Ima pick some up. I gotta throw on my cpi so figured I’d take em off when I do that
