  • After discovering what Horrible air intake set up the Stinger has, I've decided to buy the Air Scoop for better Ram Air Effect.
    Sure the stock way, I guess works fine, with how powerful the Stinger is, but it really could have been better and I can only assume it wasn't due to lack of space for how this front end was designed, for all parts to fit and no room to direct any ram air scoops.
    So, I got a pair of JA Air Scoops. You can order them Here, for the best pricing and fast shipping:
    kdmwarehouse.c...
    You'll need a 10mm socket, #2 Phillips screw driver (optional for few of them).. Thin flat screw driver.. ramps to raise the car up as whole, not just jack up up the one side. So you can get under it to remove push clips under the car. Don't lose any parts

      how to make vehicles run on alkali solution, ammonia solution, alcohol solution: electrolysis (can be fuelcell dry/wet hho, radio frequency hho, or plasma hho generators) inside fuel filter (injection vehicles) or big custom float bowl (carburetor vehicles) , and inside combustion chamber by plasma from multi sparkplugs, water laser ignition sparkplugs, we need hack the electrycity by change regular stator/altenator with high current one, then adding air scoop with wind turbine electric generator (all land, sea and aviation vehicles can use it as external electic current generator) inside it and put alternator on propeller shaft or axle (for cars, truck and other wheelers vehicles) and electric motor stator generator inside center of rear velg and front velg (for cars, motorcycles) this guaranteed free energy by movement of vehicles and wind that come from front of vehicles, then use supercapacitor in hydrogen generator connection cable and varistor in coil-ignition sparkplugs cable, then make electrolysis inside fuel filter first electrolysis (pem or plasma hho or by radio freq hydrogen generator), because grafity effect, water inside fuel filter or float bowl will make pressure so hydrogen don't come back to fuel tank come down but up right into injector or carburetor fuels spray, by injecting or spraying both hydrogen and water into internal combustion chamber chain reaction (explosion by next electrolysis stage must been happening inside combustion chamber) plasma sparkplugs or water laser ignition sparkplugs will make electrolysis+ignition , the principle is same like lightning strike on sea (natural electric plasma electrolysis) that convert sea water into hydrogen and oxygen + make pressure at sea water then burn it cause by lightning strike hit hydrogen (explosion of water on sea by lighting strike) on it this mean all vehicles actualy can run and burn on water and hydrogen, the scheme will same to fuelcell electric vehicles which when inside i.c.e engine we burn hydrogen and water in fcev we just injecting hydrogen from electrolysis right into fuelcell

    I recently installed the Velossa bigmouth intakes on my stinger as well. The bumper cover removes very easily and no issues. What I don’t understand is why everybody removes the large air scoop for the radiators. You do not have to remove that, I just simply placed my big mouth in position and took a razor knife and made small trim cuts on the large scoop and you have a custom fit and you still have an affective air scoop

    • @rpmautoreviews9249
      @rpmautoreviews9249  3 года назад

      from what I can tell, these scoops don't cover a lot of area in front of the Rad, so it really should not affect it at all. Tons of real estate of direct air to hit the Rad. More odd why the engineers put these air scoops facing up ?

      @@harrymason5032 if I cut out the area of that part I took out, then yes, I don't have to remove it.. and in my video, for those who watch the whole thing (i know most do not), I showed that you could just cut that part out and not have to remove it.. Maybe I should have done it that way. but it doesn't seem to really do anything really. All the air hits the car as you drive.

      So if you cut the shroud and install the snorkel(s) through it, do you even need to remove the shroud to make the cuts? I am leaning toward this route as well, especially if you don't even need to remove it and put it back in!

    Kia is really weird for not giving the Stinger GT the stock ram air system it easily could of had.
    I can't fathom why they'd go so far out of their way to obstruct those intake ports In front of the airbox. Other than to prevent hydrolock or something, but I doubt that would've been a common occurrence.

      @@rpmautoreviews9249 I gotta admit, I'm really curious to see what you get out of the snorkels.
      I think a lot of people negate their effectiveness by going with simple short rams in the engine bay. But then they leave themselves susceptible drawing in the heat of the turbos. (Though some try to hide their intakes away in a box.)
      But the stock system is fully enclosed from the engine heat in plastic, and now the only strong access to air is exclusively coming from outside, which will always be cooler than inside the engine bay.
      I have a good feeling about your next dyno.

    If you really want a 20-40 horsepower gain, you need a better intercooler. It doesn't "make your turbos cooler" it cools the charged air that heats from going through the compressor and gives you a denser amount of air going into the motor. You will see huge gains from a bigger more efficient intercooler.

    • @rpmautoreviews9249

      Would this require to then have better exhaust to handle the extra HP ? and a tune to handle and properly adjust timing, fuel mixture ? I personally dont want to do anything that'll force me to do more for it to work properly. This set up has got me .3 secs better 1/4 mile times and all is good so far.

    • @mountedpatrolman
      @mountedpatrolman Год назад

      @@rpmautoreviews9249 No you do not need to do anything to the exhaust. A tune is not necessary but if you want to make the most out of all the mods you currently have it will be the single biggest boost in power you can do. With a Turbo charged car you can get 80-100 hp just by getting a good tune, because the manufacture leaves so much on the table when it comes to turning up boost.

    O.k. So video to follow with some runs from this evenings test n tune. It was a bit cooler out than the last time I was here, but bit closer to the temp my first time out few weeks ago at this same place "Shannonvile Motorsport Park"... and first two times there, I averaged 13.5 and 13.6 (average of all runs that were o.k. launch or better).. my best was 13.159 I think... Well, today with the air scoops in, I average 13.2 (taking guess, as I haven't actually done the math yet).. and my best two runs were 13.068 @103.33mph and 13.069 @ 103.32mph.. and have a couple at 13.1's and 13.3's. one bad one at 13.5's... so about 10 runs and consistently better.. I suspect the cooler temp helped, but it wasn't cold. Just not as hot as Sunday . I really suspect the scoops helped out.. and my best 60 foot was 2.003 (before Up I was averaging 2.09)... Not even $300 to my door, $$ well spent. Runing on Shell V-max 91... most runs were in SM and some in Custom Mode, w/sport settings except for awd in Comfort, for a better launch, because the start pads not the stickiest here). Videos to follow next week.. Still have a few more to load from Sunday's runs. Look out for them brothers
