Thanks for the kind words regarding my artwork Mark, and it's my pleasure to share it with enthusiasts. I'll try to get on producing a "Snowman" version when I get some time. 🙂👍
Norb. Absolutely superb art work! I thought it was a commercial print it it that good. My dad was the senior driver drove for an oil recycling plant - back in the day it was call CAN AM but now it is Safety Clean. he drove a double bunk COE Freightliner that was totally decked out. I knew every inch of that truck and could draw it blind!! It brings back memories of a lot of summer days trucking back and forth with my dad and watching shows like Moving On, BJ and the Bear, Convoy and best of all Smokey and the Bandit! Cheers Earl
perhaps consider doing around 500 limited edition prints then sell them through TwinSticks or others. Framed or not they would be a popular item. Plenty of other trucks to artistically create and in an endless array of settings too.
Mr. Twinsticks, most critics could never accomplish what you have done. Your solid commitment to be movie correct is telling of where you will end up on this build and it will be movie correct.
I asked my wife last night "you know tomorrow is?" "No, what?" "Thursday, which means a new Twinsticks video!" "Oh" My wife is not as cool as Mrs. Twinsticks!
I’m thinkin that there are way too many people with keyboards and no work ethic. To sit and study and old freakin movie truck and turnaround and berate the guy that WORKING and building a great looking replica truck! And there in lies the rub its a flipping replica. You can’t get everything exactly correct because of parts availability!! Mark is doing a superior job at this. My goodness people you don’t like his build your own and leave him alone!! I personally love what Mark has accomplished!!!
Love how every detail is movie correct. I just watched the movie last night. Jackie was amazing. My friend had a fully restored Bandit car, then sold it like an idiot!!
Truck looks great nothing like a vintage W900. No one could have played Buford T. Justice better than Jackie Gleason. Pretty good for a Brooklyn guy! Movin On was another show I never missed as a kid.
It is hard to believe that at the time of this comment this video has over 14,250 views and only 2,400 likes. Come on folks it’s not that hard to hit the like button to show Mark and his channel a little love.
You have one hell of a Smokey and the Bandit tribute truck it would be nice if Burt Reynolds, Sally Field, Jackie Gleason, Jerry Reed could see what you have done. What a job well done😎
When you were working in the snow and unwrapped the kw hood ornament, I didn't think that truck would get to this point of excellence. I'm sure I don't need to tell you how far you've come with your channel. Hat's off to you Mark ‼️
I'm amazed by every single episode he put out because, he noticed every position of the truck in the movie. And built full replica of the movie truck. Just by movie scenes. Absolutely awesome. Thanks for upload and have a great day.
Now that the chrome bands are holding the cans I can relax. Lol. It was driving me crazy. Definitely appreciate all the hard work and you taking the time to letcus follow along.
I subscribed, have been watching your work and you deserve a congratulations. No one has a clue to the work , time involved, and actual cost . Well done
Always the little things that make it complete. Looking great! A few more steps towards completion. Thanks for taking us along on your journey ! Awesome print, kudos to the artist. Way cool!!Take care👍
Awesome work as always mark! Snowman is looking better with every little piece and each video ! Keep your wheels on the black top and your foot on floor board !
Always imagined that how awesome the KW would be with a "buzzin dozen" Detroit. Your showing Darwin's proved it. Keep up the great work - MOVIE CORRECT!
If you make a drinking game every time mark says movie correct a feller would wind up in the hospital with alcohol poisoning lol 😂. Great job Mark on the KW
I think the appropriate term is "commode hangin' drunk" 😉 I actually have 2 Trans Ams (not movie correct) that I would love to have a picture next to that beautiful truck. I can't wait until it is all done with the trailer.
Hell yeah Mark!!! Glad you're doing some more movie correct 'finishing touches.' The air can straps and steps look very good especially!!! Awesome that you found the Pace unit finally that didn't cost you $1,000,000! LOL definitely going to be better with a nice mount for the stuff too so it isn't rattling all to hell. So happy I got my new phone and can finally catch up on my Twinsticks and Snowman! 😁👍
Looks great 👍 Mark!! Yes, it’s always those little things that make it that much better sir. 💁♂️😉👌 Look forward into coming up to Canada one day to visit with you & Mrs TwinSticks. Long overdue, just gotta get the right time.
This truck is coming along so good ! Now when mark goes too any show and signs in all he has too do is pick up his trophy of original too best in show ! And on the trailer do the curb side door for living quarters for when you go too the shows !! And the Trans Am in the back for Miss TwinnSticks too drive you around !
I enjoy your passion you have for each and every project you do and your willingness to try and do just about anything. I guess that stems from your being an engineer as a living. It’s hard to get everything so perfect for tractors that are old and limited to finding everything you need to have it correct. Watch you every Thursday on way to work and keep up the great job!
Such a cool build! 👍🏻👍🏻 Great attention to detail, and I gotta say; I’m jealous... Most may drool over the Trans Am, but I was always in love with Snowman’s rig. Keep up the great work 😎
The truck's looking better each time I see it. The anti smoke line through a floor of the bunk might fray over time rubbing against the hole and could cause an air leak. You might want to use a grommet to protect the airline
Congratulations on scoring the Pace Scan 10-4U! You can get different crystals for your local frequencies, however modern emergency radios have switched to digital so you may not pick up anything. The frequency range is 450-470 MHz.
Great to see you being able to get more things on the truck to make it movie accurate. Looking forward to more and eventually the trailer that's going to look sharp.
"LIKE" button has been torqued to the manufacturer's recommended specification. "CLICK". God forbid you should be running around Canada there with a loose "LIKE" button !
Anodizing can do a couple of things for aluminum. Anodizing is not just a surface treatment, but also penetrates the surface of the aluminum. Anodizing can not only add color to the aluminum, but it can also provide a hardened surface that resists scratching and will protect the aluminum from oxidation. That old police scanner is not likely to actually pick up any "official" radio traffic. Most police, fire, and even municipal services now broadcast on much higher frequencies and are often on a digital trunking system, so each call is on a slightly different frequency. Snowman is really coming along!
Using "steel wool" you will soon discover that micro fine steel splinters have become embedded in the chrome and will shortly look rusty. Always (and only) use non-metallic "abrasive pads" to clean unpainted surfaces. They will never discolor later. Ron W4BIN
I would build a braket, for the anti-smoke valve. So it dont flop around, and it would be a one hand job to plug it up, and it would look sharp😄 like the one for the trailerplug😃
I came across an old photo of a magazine with a factory kenworth in very similar colours. Early 70’s. The truck used in Smokey and the bandit seems to have been KW factory colour scheme . I never realised . Brilliant build and brilliant videos
Ah Movin On. Originally purchased the KW model and trailer I ended up building as Snowman to recreate the first time I built that model when I was 13 14 years old and saved up allowances and lawn cutting money for a trip to the model section at the local Kmart. I credit ( or blame) Movin On and the recently passed CW McCall for putting the diesel in my blood and setting me on a path that would start 4 or 5 years after I built that model and would span 40 years later when my old ticker told me I can either retire at 59 and see my nieces graduate college and ( lord willing) see them marry or keep working and not.
8:00 a lot of those old scanners used individual frequency crystals for whatever frequency you wanted to listen to. In the early 80s I had a realistic scanner from radio shack and I had to special order all the channel crystals for what I wanted to listen to. So yours probably works, just needs crystals. Our county still uses the 150.000 to 158.000 VHF frequency, some departments use UHF frequencies. But most departments are or have switched to digital radios which this can't listen to.
Hey Mark 🙂 Snowman’s looking FINE 😎 Props to you for your hard work and determination to build a Movie Correct 🍺 truck 😁 Not playing the drinking game in full though, I have work tomorrow 😆 Stay classy, bud
Like how you added part of the deleted scene from Ol' Miss ! I wish they had put that and all of the other deleted scenes in the special edition black cover blue ray version. I saw it onTBS back in the day !!!
I love the movie and appreciate the project you are doing. The scanner from that era would be a crystal controlled scanner. You would buy the crystal (looked like a modern car fuse) for the frequency. If you take the cover off and pull the crystals out, the frequency is printed on them. You can see if anyone still uses those frequencies. SuperShifter on the side...
@@TwinStix What year was the truck at the very starting credits scenes (74 ??) as that is a TBB W925. but then again the Dukes is a TBB K125 as well. The TBB suspension when properly maintained, is a smoother ride than either the spring or air bag.

Amazing work Norb - thanks so much!
Now I'm thinking about it, I'll have to do an "Iron Duke" piece as well at some point.
Norb. Absolutely superb art work! I thought it was a commercial print it it that good. Don’t forget FRED!!! Everyone forgets Fred!!!
perhaps consider doing around 500 limited edition prints then sell them through TwinSticks or others. Framed or not they would be a popular item. Plenty of other trucks to artistically create and in an endless array of settings too.
Nice print I met Claude Akins in the mid 70's in Greenwood Indiana at a CB convention..really nice guy
Mr. Twinsticks, most critics could never accomplish what you have done. Your solid commitment to be movie correct is telling of where you will end up on this build and it will be movie correct.
This is one of the main reasons I look forward to Thursday mornings! Nice work as always Mark!
Beat channel on RUclips!💪🏾
I asked my wife last night "you know tomorrow is?" "No, what?" "Thursday, which means a new Twinsticks video!" "Oh" My wife is not as cool as Mrs. Twinsticks!
Just not this Thursday, or the next few Thursdays. Go checkout his patreon so he can get paid. 😅
Saw Smokey and the Bandit at the theatre. I was 6 years old. My favorite go to movie of all time.

Thank you for the video. Wish you all the best and take care of you.
I WILL NOT GET TIRED OF WATCHING. VERY ENTERTAINING AND INSPIRING.
Love how every detail is movie correct. I just watched the movie last night. Jackie was amazing. My friend had a fully restored Bandit car, then sold it like an idiot!!

Wow snowman looking fantastic Mark 👌 hard work pays off for sure. Keep up the awesome work on the 3 trucks 👍
The fruits of your labor blessings
The little things take the most time, that's for sure! Big sigh of relief to get that all done, great show Mark!
It's all in the detail, but the truck is looking awesome and a credit to your dedication.
this is the ONLY RUclips channel that I click the "Like" button as soon as the video starts. Nice work, sir!
Changing the bands... yes! Looks much better.
Truck looks great nothing like a vintage W900. No one could have played Buford T. Justice better than Jackie Gleason. Pretty good for a Brooklyn guy! Movin On was another show I never missed as a kid.
awsome video mark at ease you got alot of the little jobs done thumbs up and shared

That's a beautiful representation of ban-two. You running that wheel and tire combo is as die hard as it gets. Keep up the good work bud
You have one hell of a Smokey and the Bandit tribute truck it would be nice if Burt Reynolds, Sally Field, Jackie Gleason, Jerry Reed could see what you have done. What a job well done😎
Love the scanner wow just wow makes you wonder what's out there people are sitting on. Wow
Nice Mark to see your in the homestretch awesome!!!
Thank you so much for curing me of OCD. Every time I watched the videos my vision got stuck on the missing footrests.
When you were working in the snow and unwrapped the kw hood ornament, I didn't think that truck would get to this point of excellence. I'm sure I don't need to tell you how far you've come with your channel. Hat's off to you Mark ‼️
Mark nice seeing the small details fixed, installed etc. Always look forward to your videos on Thursday!
I'm amazed by every single episode he put out because, he noticed every position of the truck in the movie. And built full replica of the movie truck. Just by movie scenes. Absolutely awesome. Thanks for upload and have a great day.
It’s amazing how much those little details change it so much - and just because - it’s movie correct hic 🥃
@14:12 - Office Space - a cult classic. Love that show!
Hey Mark, I got the Twin Stick Coffee ☕️ Cup! Your Shipping Container Was Great!! Good job!👍 👍 Thanks!
AL - "The Snoman"⛄️☃️

You should make one whole video on clear bra your truck. It would be really cool to see and plus it will help to protect the paint.
Great job trucks are looking great, can't wait until you start on the trailer. I enjoy watching your videos.
Great job, Mark! It's good to see some more of the details coming along.

Whole thing looks great especially the tires and wheels :-)
Awesome video. Snowman is really taking shape. Keep up the great work
Re getting the trailer up in the air - stacks of hardwood pallets ought to work..
"You want anythin"? "Hush puppies daddy". "WE AINT GOT TIME FOR THAT CRAP"!!!!
Oh Gosh Hal Needham was zen for what people wanted to see ...only an aa8rborne Ranger could se it like he did. Love him
In regards to re-working things just think "We do it nicer, cause we do it twicer"! Great job Mark. Super enjoy watching your projects come along.
Always enjoy your content here from North Bay Ontario. Especially at the end when you crack a cold snack!! Keep up the great work.
Great progress!! It's the small things that make a big difference! Great job 👍
Your doing a great job Mark Thankyou.
I enjoy watching your video's. Between you and Peterbuilt Mike, makes me want my own project truck. 🙂
"GETTING CLOSE"my friend, great job as usual 👌👍
The truck is looking good! The scanner probably needs to have crystals installed to work.

Truck is really coming together! Must be great working inside this time of year.

Love the truck and the videos. It would be awesome if you ever took it to The Big Iron Classic truck show in Minnesota when everything is all done.
I came across an old photo of a magazine with a factory kenworth in very similar colours. Early 70’s. The truck used in Smokey and the bandit seems to have been KW factory colour scheme . I never realised . Brilliant build and brilliant videos
Wow! At around 16 minutes I see Office Space playing in the background.
Nice Truck and a nice shop, can't wait for mine to be finished! build is on the channel.

12:23 ouch that poor paint. I’d suggest adding a small chain so the door won’t open too far and smash into anything
I’m ducking frunk watching this episode! 🍻
The big difference from.the movie trucks is the rear suspension. Swap the torsion bar setup from the cabover and you'll have a winner.
Agreed, the '73 had t-bars but unsure what was on the '74
