Good morning good morning good morning... OHHHH yeaahh wooooooo.....have I ever mentioned that this is my favorite channel??...well if not I am now ..this is my favorite channel ever....😂😂. morning Twinsticks Garage family ❤️🇨🇦💙🇺🇸✝️
Hey Mark if it hasn't already been said, you might want to put tape or plugs in the glad hand holes of your trailer when you are not hooked up. The reason being is that bugs, specifically bees or spiders like to crawl in and build nests and when you go to hook up you blow them back and consequently plug up your lines. Go ahead ask me how I know. LOL
You heard about the legend of Jesse James And John Henry, just to mention some names But there's a truck-drivin' legend in the South today A man called Bandit from Atlanta, G.A Every gearjammer knows his name They swear he got ice water runnin' in his veins A foot like lead and nerves like steel He's gonna go to glory ridin' eighteen wheels.
Mark . When you park up your trailer for awhile . Zip tie a couple of plastic bags around your air lines so wasps and bugs don't make nests in your lines. had it happen a couple of times and blew them through the system. love your on the hunt episodes a different bunch of trucks than we get here in western Australia.
Not a joke, but over summer a local business owner near me had a small homemade type helicopter. It stalled mid flight and he died upon impact. FAA determined mud daubers made a nest in one of the vent lines.
Grease the slide tracks so the locks don’t stick. Also good to slide the fifth wheel regularly to keep it working. The more you do it the easier it works
Mark, You youthful enthusiasm is infectious!! Love your hardwork on these projects. Try air tool oil in the lines for that 5th wheel release actuator. It may release for you.
Brother if you could find someone that could print those cases of beer on a banner. Like a big square banner you could just hang it in the back of your trailer that make it look like there’s a full load. Essentially just a big square picture.
Loving your channel Mark Have you ever considered making the inside of the trailer into a small 1 bedroom apartment for comfortable living at truck shows? Would be an excellent use of the space and you could still fit in one of your cars 👍.
Good job with moving Snowman's fifth wheel forward, sure looks a lot better when hooked onto the trailer. Blake has a nice Duster! Don't worry, you will have a nice muscle car when you finish building the TransAm project. Oh, wait, that's going to be Mrs. TwinStick's muscle car. Oh, well, you have your trucks.
1:38 A great part of that film, the other great part is spotting the trucks in the background like that line of Peterbilts , a lot of cab overs Back when we had length laws in only 45 foot trailers that my dad pulled at the most in the late seventies. and that gorgeous single sleeper blue Peterbilt Conventional with the cool light blue stripe, and the cab over 1976 bicentennial Freightliner I remember those when I was a kid at truckstops. The Peterbilt also shows up at the end when snowman drives up to that convoy, I'm bringing it son, i'm bringing it. I remember in 2004 coming back from my NE run, heading home to Central Florida and getting to South Carolina and seeing a convoy like that of 20 trucks, and the 2000 Freightliner classic XL I drove wasn't governed with a great series 60 so I felt like snowman, wound up to 85, passing them gracefully and warning them on the CB. That Freightliner I drove was a great truck.🚚Project Snowman is AWESOME and a dream to find and restore for any of us late 70s kids that saw this film from a truckers son or a young kid around trucks that understood and had the same love and blue collar pride like her dads or uncles or grandfathers did. watching Smokey and the bandit now and seeing a lot of this nostalgia that was new like the trucks, and that awesome part were bandits filling up at the union 76 truck stop, smooth ride mr Bandit. The union 76 truck stop in St Augustine FL was just the same the all pretty much were, you walk in the diner it smells like this get some gravy and hash Browns and you got the truckers only booths that kind of gave you a cool feeling to sit there. Then run to the gift shop and fawn over miniature ERTL trucks that I collected and still have a few. And then, truck spotting at that truck stop, a lot of custom trucks and I would know every brand and I couldn't even read Peterbilt let alone freightliner, I just knew what they looked like all trucks it was like a game i'd sit on the doghouse my dad say what truck is that, an auto car it'd freak him out I'd know so much. Help him do pre trips, roll up the landing gears check the fuel, he showed me how to do a log book back then when he worked at Ralston Carina Mushrooms in Zellwood FL. and he drove some great equipment a lot of Freightliners, the diamond interior type, a lot of great K100 cab overs, mostly all white painted, except for the last couple years he worked there before he went to Southland that used to deliver to 7 Elevens and other convenience stores except for these two K one hundreds that were so new there was a red one and a blue one they had these cool white custom stripes and they had red or blue interior. And somebody wrecked both of them that was weird to walk by there and see the roofs all caved in dad said he fell asleep on the wheel. Thank you Mark for all you do it, makes all of us so happy to see you do things some of us wish we could, I love the truck auction episodes as well as the restoration and repair or rework episodes, that would have been great to go to one of those with my dad. Me and dad wanted to go to one of those type of truck shows but the closest was North Carolina, and then he passed on in 2013 (The great truck stop in the sky as he would call it, LOL🥲). He definitely would've loved your show.

Grease the slide tracks so the locks don’t stick. Also good to slide the fifth wheel regularly to keep it working. The more you do it the easier it works. It’s also easier to use the trailer to slide the fifth wheel. Hook it up and use the landing gear to pick the fifth wheel up to slide it easily
