Great video Jeff loading your scraper on those jeeps for moving to your next job site. It shows this isn't your first time doing this by yourself. Thanks for sharing stay safe Jeff and Mr Griffy.
Jay, you may want to consider either wrapping a band of 3/16”x1” steel around those oak blocks and anchor the straps with lag bolts and weld the two ends of the steel strapping together or get some 3/8” or 7/16” All-Thread rod, large fender washers, a long auger bit, and a Forstner bit, to help keep those oak blocks from splitting apart.
Jeff, I would like to thank you for sharing this video. I watched the old video and the quality wasn't very food. My hat goes off to you on a job well done.
My dream is to one day experience some exciting Corgi-cam view of what all goes on in the daily life of a Corgi. Chasing cats should be one highlight of such a video. It exists somewhere out there. At least the mind says so. 🙂 Hitting high center in the snow and or dirt and gravel should be just as exciting.
Back in the 60s and 70s businesses would go out of there way to accommodate a customer,,The customer really did come first,,,Now they have workers who are clueless about the products there selling,,When you want to do buissness with them they treat you like shit,,And when they mess up,,They blame it on you,,And when you call them ,Most the time your talking to a machine,,No wander the dollar is in the shitter and nobody produces anything anymore,,
Jeff I hear ya about bad or no communication from businesses. I had a sleep study test and was told to get the hospital sleep study dr to call me back for insurance requirements. It is mandatory that I have a sit down talk with the dr after 30 days of CPAP use or the insurance will cancel things. DR nor his peeps would ever return my calls. Apparently this is a common problem. So finally the CPAP machine supply place says to schedule an appointment with my Primary Care. All of this takes weeks to finally see someone. Frustrating.
I've seen you load them before. Still pretty Slick. Hope you got help to unload those timbers and ramps, on the other end? You wore me out just watching even with the forklift help. TGP
Poor lil saw cutting that heavy hard assed oak 😢 sweating to the oldies. I 🤔 think lil ol saw did a fair job for a battery operated saw. 😅 Jeff’s not afraid of an old oak. You probably have a hundred people telling you how to make the saw cut strength. Main reason one side of teeth on the chain is sharper than the other. Making the saw to want to cot circles or bowls. Rakers (lil rounded part behind the cutting edges) on each side of the bar needs to be the same height. The bar as the chain goes round at about Mach 2 so there are several areas that need serviced once and awhile. The bar gets a rounded edge where the chain rides on the sides of the groove., sharpening the edge which rolls over and catchs the side of the kerfs of the saw and pulls the saw out of alignment.
Dumb question, why can't you put spring breaks on the dolly, use the ramps to back the back end on the dolly. Then drive the front end on the trailer. Tell me I saw ramp mounts on the dolly.
I was gonna laugh my butt off if you cut 2 foot off your tape. If only they made something to give you a square line with a pencil....lol...but your not using that side so who cares... Lol
